Beautiful instrument! About two years ago I had chance for one, but passed, since I already have Logan String Melody II and also SK30 with own strings section and I dont want to be hoarder. And especially Logan is really really pleasing for me how it sounds. Little trivia... It was initially ARP's people idea to take it out of Eminent 310 and make it standalone.
In case you didn't know: the Solina String Ensemble wasn't manufactured by ARP but by Eminent in the Netherlands. JM Jarre used the Eminent 310U on his records. It has the same String Ensemble tech in it. Your Solina should have the Eminent brand on the back ;)
Especially the Mark II which you have. Lovely sounds! The successor has a thinner sound. I had the Mark I which sounds the same as yours but it lacks the ensemble on/off switch.
Magnifique
This machine is so beautiful. Excellent playing as well.

In fact, mine is also Eminent, as is the organ you see below! I wrote ARP instead of EMINENT as most people know it as "ARP Solina" ;)

Have you compared it to the Bering ?
No actually!
