This keyboard truly has magic in it. I love mine so much and will never get rid of it. Despite the velocity limitations, the mini keys, the constraints... it inspires me endlessly and is played constantly. The sounds are fantastic!
@@Jack-fs2imI really enjoy mine for the convenience of being able to carry it around, balance it on my lap, and so on - but yes, the only thing I would improve is that I'd like it to be capable of more volume. While the inbuilt speakers are great just for noodling by yourself, they're not loud enough to accompany anything else, whether singing or someone playing another instrument. Some of the sounds do overload the tiny speakers and cause distortion if you turn the volume right up. Of course you can take line-out feeds from the output jacks, and you'll almost always see that being done in videos like this - but as soon as you're having to do that then the portability is seriously compromised. I don't think it's even just a question of size - my iPad, for example, is capable of much louder distortion-free output than my Reface CP.
hey man! i stumbled across your fostex 4 track video just now doing research for my own cassette multitracks, and your music has aged very beautifully after 3 years!! youre an incredible artist and id love to see more of you, keep being awesome! its great to see you’re back!!
can you recommend a portable stereo speaker with separate channel inputs that will give me more volume than the built-in speakers and support the great stereo separation? thx in advance for any advice
@@edkriegepiano im late but you should try some solid state battery powered acoustic amp (20/30w) i have the roland ac33, it has two inputs but i use the reface on the aux line in so it can bump keys guitar and voice! It also serves as a monitor i love that amp so fucking much ❤
@@fennarios thanks for the suggestion. i was looking to bump up the volume and keep the super nice stereo separation, and the $35 donners are fitting the bill quite nicely. plus they're quickly rechargeable and quite small. cheers.

It's such an underrated piano. You can always play a full scale via midi. The sounds are really where it's at.
can,t get along with mine, the velocity is not for me and good speakers are needed imo .
