I love how DJI always told people that they can’t make active track work without forward facing sensors then their cheapest drone ever gets a feature that they said couldn’t work.
this drone doesn't have the same capacity as the obstacle avoidance drones that track i mean it cant move around obstacles to track you and also it is not moving that fast when tracking which means even if it hits something it will not like fall out of the sky or like be subject with the high speed stopping. That statement refers to how it will track you in all dimensions which is it moving around when it loses track or in a complicated environment which is what people expect from active track from a drone. Like active track works on gimbals but since you are moving it, you technically play the role of the drone moving as you dont crash into things or will try to constantly keep the subject in view
@@prozipper2568 Thanks for the very informative explanation. You explained it to me like I’m an idiot. 👍 You made me feel so dumb 🤣🤣🤣 My first comment and the one above are sarcasm! I’m explaining this to you so you too can feel like the idiot you made me feel like, did I succeed? We have had some sort of tracking available in DJI drones since the Phantom 2 Vision (2014) but it just wasn’t available (or Possible) with the DJI software. Alternative software developers (I was a beta tester for one of those software developers) did have tracking available and still DJI tried to tell us that it wasn’t possible back then. And while DJI continued with the BS that it wasn’t possible without the sensors in later discussions of this topic they continued to lie to us, all while the alternative software developers continued to develop this and to offer a feature that DJI lied and said wasn’t possible. The nail in the coffin is that DJI has now proven they were lying all along by offering a feature that was never possible (according to themselves) without sensors on their cheapest drone to date that doesn’t have sensors.
@ it’s awesome!! It even survived going off a cliff and surviving a rain storm overnight until I could hike in the next day and find it 😂 dried it out and it still totally works
As appealing as the price point is on the Neo, I think I rather invest the money into an Avata 2 during the holiday deals in a couple months. Or the pending Air 3S likely to drop around the same time.
I would get this if it worked with Goggles 2 and DJI FPV remote. Too expensive to have to buy all new remote and goggles that are only a couple years old.
I'm quite sure we already had the same DJI drone few years back which responds to hand gestures and don't need a phone. Just can't remember what it's called.
@@thundercat_man well, obviously 4k resolution is better, but a normal phone or pc screen isn't 4k anyway, so you're probably right depending on the situation. The drone *is* meant for vlogs, in which case I agree (I know I yappaton)
Now the biggest question is if 50 people stand and drone locks a person and takes off and if all 50 people spread their hand then where will drone land 😂😂😂
Handy, very handy but not for me. Way too tiny. A beginner or someone who's just in for fun. It's to tiny to be compact. But it's handy for whoever it suits.
Disappointing to see how little one saves by buying just the drone, 2 batteries and the charging hub. Not only it shows that the controller costs very little to make but that the ecology is once again neglected. Not a big incentive for people who already have a controller to not buy the combo kit.

Soon need to get one ..cause something to follow in my back while I am playing my NINEBOT SEGWAY ONE WHEEL..thank you..DJi drone..
Great Review Today. Enjoyed It
❤❤❤❤❤❤ best product 😊😊😊😊
can we fly drone far controlling with mobile app or we need to get separate romote for it?
Is compatible with any dji goggle?
Goggles 3
Goggles N3
That price is insane
$200 is their cheapest option
batery last for how long
@@LryDeBaino18 minutes
Because of the cheap Labor in China
@@ulyssisyou really think labor is the main cost of a drone😂
Be sure to mention it’s sharp loud high pitched whine and it’s tiny sensor for inferior pictures

Can you do overhead shots with the gimbal looking straight gown?
Yes
yes 90° gimbal down and 60° up(?) i believe
What about the banning report of DJi . How does that effect mapping and defective product etc
Question/ I need to register the NEO with the FAA and I need any permission to fly it of the FAA?
Hover X1 owners punching the air rightnow
?? Will the NEO work with my Mavic Ai 2 Remote?
Will the DJI avanta camera filters fit on the DJI neo camera?
I would get this if it worked with Goggles 2 and DJI FPV remote. Too expensive to have to buy all new remote and goggles that are only a couple years old.
How many kilometers does it go?
Is dji neo complying remote ID
Vertical mode ??
From the specs on the website, it does not support vertical video mode.
No vertical mode on this drone
I'm quite sure we already had the same DJI drone few years back which responds to hand gestures and don't need a phone. Just can't remember what it's called.
Agree, great review. ✌️ Wheelchair John in Idaho
how's the noise compared to bigger drones?
I dont own one but from what i've heard, it's a little less loud but still an (annoying) high-pitched sound
Can you use it with RC controller? The one that has a screen on it
I believe they will probably list the compatible controllers on DJI’s website once its up for sale there
You can. There's a video of someone using it with the Rc 2.
yes, it is compatible (but obviously not included in the normal pack)
how much does it cost
it says so in the title, but 199 $ or euros
Does it connect to fpv?
Me interesa saber la calidad del video real? Podrías subir uno a la nube y me adjuntas el link?. Gracias de antemano
Does this have geo fencing restrictions?
Might want to mention the fpv3 controller and full manual when talking about full fpv emmersion. 😅
How does it compare to the Hover X1?
the very best
The goggles and remote are. Not included in flymore combo. What kind of Google is that and remote 😊
Does it have Acro mode?
i think so
Can i use the dji rcn1 which comes with dji mini 2?
No u can’t, u need to purchase fly more combo to get newer rc n3
@@yuxine5552 you sure?
If you're in the US you can't get the flymore combo with the remote for some reason. Dji screwed the US
@@ADSUPINTHIS, Bro ! The US Screwed DJI !!!!😮
@@jeremyboyce1537 I guess that's why they did us dirty? A little payback?
It's for 600$ in lebanon 😢
If dji gave the wifi functions to the mini it would be perfect. I guess we should not forget they're a Chinese company these days 😢
How to save the video
What about video quality?
it has 4k 30 fps or 1080p 60 fps. The quality isn't bad, but people do say it gets kinda bad with bad lighting

You cannot fly at 10 km that’s bullshit. We tried to fly 2 miles and we lost signal so I’ll BS.
Its 10 km in fcc and best conditions
