I've met him twice and he's a lot nicer than his reputation preceding him - he does appreciate the ACTUAL fans, not the autograph traders who just turn up and go "can you sign that, that and that".

He sent me a message on Twitter a few weeks ago. I told him I had read the first couple of chapters of his book and that it's hard for me to read because of ADHD and he sent me a message back saying thank you. One of the best moments of my life ever.

He seems a bit unsure as if there's some regret. There are certainly worse turns that life can take than playing a character that earns you millions, but he sounds as if he became a bit bound to it in time.

Thanks to this book I now know why Threepio had that sand on his neck after the fall. Bothered me since I was a kid lol. Idk why I knew it was on purpose other then George never has anything in a film for no reason.
