The heer and SS reversible winter parka sets would have been extremely close in cut and appearance. Zeltbanns would have been identical, as well as the great coats. The only thing that is really noticeable in difference would be the smocks, SS smocks did not have hoods, unlike most of the heer pattern smocks. Were these guys are all in winter gear I think they fit as waffles SS very nicely. Very impressed by your fall oak leaf camo paint job. What colors did you use for it?
Thanks Ranger, I try and get the “look” of the camo I’m painting. I’m on a short trip away with my son till Monday, I have all my paint recipes written down and I’ll update you when I get back 😉
Well tried Chain of Command which I quite like but me and my son have been using a mash up of Fireteam Modern for Infantry and Battleground WW2 for the armour and it seems to work really well
Really nice choice of palette and lovely brushwork on some excellent looking sculpts
Thanks, Paul Hicks sculpts are great to paint 👍
the highlights on the guns are great, nice to see colour other than generic gun metal or silver.
Thanks prefer shades of grey rather than metallics

Perfect on the colors used. Very very well done, especially on the camo patterns and on the "Dot 44" camo.
Thanks Blitz, I try to capture the look of the cam, if that makes sense?

The helmet shields are decals, I painted the arm eagles and cuff titles 😉
