at 14:36 theres a mould line on the helmet, how does one remove that from metal figures?
Also do you not find the details in metal figures more obscured than on plastic figures?
I once purchased Bolt Action metal figures and i wasn't happy with them and their quality. I did some research and comparisons to other metal figures and they all look the same, however these ones you're showcasing from "Empress Miniatures" look very well detailed for metal castings. Im impressed.

I've got a Coc Bulge project just started in 28mm. I liked the Empress figures so much, I bought a couple of the bazooka teams, even though they're not in winter garb. These VG have been on my list for a while- as you said, ideal for the Ardennes offensive.
    Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review. Ordered the range before Christmas. Very much looking forward to them and your painting demo. Funnily enough my interest in the Bulge was awakened by these figures...and I chose to read Snow & Steel (Peter Caddick-Adams) a cracking read, I recommend it.

Are these all meant to be painted in winter themes? I'd like them for later eastern front but not so keen on winter though I'd fancy doing the battle of bulge

No. you can paint them in camouflage, or winter white, they are perfect either way.
Mine are being painted for the Eastern Front, in camo...

How do they scale out with other 28mm WW2?

not sure Rob, but I think they should be just fine with the Warlord stuff.
