@@CameronandTia sorry. Didnt mean to come off negatively but i was expecting an image comparison at least coz of the title, so I cant really tell the difference.
being a photographer, I can tell you that the clients won't notice the difference between any of these 2 lenses. Buying the Canon would be only for the photographer experience, results will be imperceptible.
In my country for the price of one Canon RF 85mm F1.2 I can buy Sigma ART 85mm F1.4, Sigma ART 105mm F1.4 and Sigma ART 40mm F1.4. But main draw back is the size of Sigma lens and you can't beat them for bang for your buck. As a Sony user I also have the Sigma DG DN ART 85mm F1.4 which is very snappy to focus and weighs half of Sigma 85mm F1.4 at 625grams. I use the large Sigma as it complement the missing focal length in the Fujifilm GFX lens line up, I have all the HSM ART series lens from 40mm to 135mm.
So any image comparison? Technical specs are easily searchable.
We thought that we could present our thoughts + our journey with these two lenses. Next time, we'll show some image comparison!

Wow that’s amazing - it’s totally different how lenses are priced around the world!
Well, the safe bet is the 1.2 is bigger, heavier than any 1.4 lense.
Totally
You are telling about the professional use .... What's with the amateur?
I can't afford this high price .........
It is the better lens if 90% of the time you using it. Lol not sparingly... Good point their sir. Love your video and that smile.
Thank you!
Great video!
