Abstract
Our world is rapidly heading into a new period of massive societal and economic disruption fueled by the simultaneous maturation of AI and XR technologies. It will happen so fast that unless we are well prepared and take the needed action, the consequences could turn quite dire. This talk will discuss how this future will unfold, describe both the possible positive and negative outcomes of this new transition and how we increase the likelihood of a desired result. Content will be based on materials from the book Our Next Reality.
