EASY CROCHET BANDANA | crochet bandana tutorial for beginners! - scrap yarn project

  • Hey guys!! This week's video is all about using up that scrap yarn that you have sitting around - and making something quick and wearable! This diy head bandana can be made using just about ANY type of yarn and ANY size hook. The bandanas that I've created are simply made with chains and double crochet stitches - so this is perfect for beginners!
    I kept my blue bandana very basic, as you'll see in the video. I followed the same exact process with the lilac yarn - except I added a "picot" stitch around the edge of the bandana for a little extra character. I hope y'all can enjoy!!

    nice tutorial but what's the height of your finished product in inches

  • @elliottmorgan_
    @elliottmorgan_ 3 года назад +9

    this is really hard to follow, I'm never sure which stitch you're talking about and you do a cut that makes it so I can't see where you're putting the hook which means I can't figure that out myself. I've watched it back and unraveled mine countless times and I'm still so confused

      Which part do you need help on? The entire bandana is just the same row repeated over and over again, you’re just adding one cluster every row!

    Hi Erin, thank you for the great tutorial! I was wondering if you know what could be going wrong w mine-- when placed as an upside down triangle, one side is longer/pointier than the other. Also, the edge of the shorter side is waving in and out :0

  • @brendalim1322
    @brendalim1322 3 года назад +3

    hi may i know how big the triangle is? mine seems to be a bit small even after 17 rows

    • @itserinb
      @itserinb  3 года назад +2

      You might be using a different thickness of yarn compared to mine if it’s not as large, keep adding rows until you like the size of it on your head!!

    3:14 “and now were gonna add 3 more double crochet”
    Okay but where???😭😭😭

    • @itserinb
      @itserinb  3 года назад

      The cluster of 3 DC always go into the same spot, in between two clusters! The gaps between each cluster should be pretty obvious, and each row is exactly the same as the previous, it just repeats over!
