Mr Dactyl you never cease to amaze with your phenomenally wide skill set. However your greatest accomplishment (along w their mom i'm sure) is the great job you did raising your sons. They are very fine & super talented young men. I always look forward to Sunday when i can visit with y'all.
Great video, cool machine for sure. Too bad the trans broke, but that'll be a great video for sure on the repair! Oh btw, don't ever stop with the sound effects like the seals, springs, etc... No matter how many times I hear em, I always get a laugh and that's all that matters!
Hay Junior! Ya'll Paw? Where's that other can of polish? It's on order Paw. Why? I have to polish the Trans NOW! HaHaHAHAHA Awesome video Mr. Betsy Ross! You can make your own Bead if need to. They sell the round bead at a sewing center and Singer make a special sewing foot to make you own bead. I have always make my own. My mom thought me how many many years ago. Back when I was in school guys tool sewing class... Lol I use to help my Aunt upholstery furniture when I was younger... 🙂 Thanks for the video!
Taryl that is one sharp side by side and something to be proud of Great job! I believe it looks as good as any on the market today . Thanks for you're channel and your tips, keep them comming.
Taryl, that black & white upholstery work looks great. However, the alligator seat cover you made for your down under minibike is the best and coolest upholstery work I've ever seen.
Looks like the beverage holder is made from ABS pipe , I like the side mirrors That would be a good addition to my John Deere LX 255 to see what's behind me
I found your channel about a week ago while searching for governor info. I believe you're a small engine genius...but I also believe you were dropped on your head as a child. I think it would be a kick to have you as a neighbor. Thankks for the smiles (and the info).
Looks like I've got a competitor for my Golden Suzie Homemaker Award once he gets his new motor in there. Dog boots, yeah. Back packs, yeah. Dishes, yeah. Lube motorcycle tachs and speedo needles, yeah. Grillin', yeah. Motorcycle restos, yeah. Bread baking, yeah. Lets go Taryl, the Golden Suzie Award-
I think they were called "saddle shoes". Taryl have you watched Roadking? He does some really good seat cover work with a sewing machine. His latest series about rebuilding an old f-100. You and Mustie with the donuts! Enjoyed watching, keep up the good work. Thanks!!
Taryl I have 6 sewing machines and am normally a aircraft mech and crane operator. I take care of repairing our interior and also have 3 sewing machines at work. Your pretty good at that sewing. I used your John Deere la115 steering advice on rack n pinion replacement. I have all old 1940’s-1950’s singer sewing machines that are work horses.
Oh and by the way - VERY NICE JOB ON THAT SEWING!!! IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS DONE FROM A PRO UPHOLSTER!!!! WOW!!!! YOU ARE REALLY TALENTED TARYL!!!!! Next thing you know you will be making REALLY nice shirts / leather jackets / etc in the future - all cool and stylistic from your own unique style!!! I bet you could probably make some AWESOME looking leather wear!!! Make your own really nice black leather jacket - put a super soft / comfortable inner linen/cotton lining on the inside - etc. Just an idea :)
My dad had bought a Karl Heald trike kit, came in huge wooden crates. We had several fun weekends putting it together. Had a 8 hp Tecumseh engine on it
Yah cant beat them old sewing machines mine is a 47 Kenmore. Anyhoo seat looks great, and great vid I use those nutserts alot at home. They are awesome.
Great video with lots of useful detail tips. I'm sorry your transmission broke, but I dont doubt you will not only fix it but make it better. The Heald would make a great firewood hauler if I had timberland. I agree with the decision to keep the paint patina on the front. You can easily computer match touch up paint, and if t HF e Heald decal logo is original, it's a good idea to save it. It looks like new. Great save on a cool all -American vehicle.
Nice job. Great job on the sewing, looks really good. Yellow reflectors on the front, red reflectors on the rear.... Yeah, I know, this thing isn't street legal, but get in the habit....
Taryl, I love the fact that you are in to stainless, but the stainless diamond plate on the bottom needs to be switched out to polished and you need a pair on the back. Same deal diamond plate is ok on the top polished on the bottom weight. You save that DP for another project or you can send it to me! I'll find a place for it! Keep the shiny side up. 👍👍
Taryl, you can sand down the carbon brush from a power tool to make them fit. I learned this from a guy that does motor repair. Start with something that is close to the same size.
Awesome video! i am not good with mechanical stuff. but after watching your videos i am building a basic mud runner with some old ride on mower parts from 3/4 different ride on mowers. i know i will have Fun doing it. it is not a good week without seeing your video. the shoes are called saddle shoe. i love you ride! :)
Taryl you can easily make your own piping just use a small piece of wire and a zipper foot. I got the same easy rider poster on my wall. I cut out the ad from mini bike guide back in the day.
Ya. The old piece is shrunk so add 1/2 in all the way around. And on the drink holder. Use 4 inch. With a Styrofoam insert. Although I Just noticed the slip cover you have on the can. All in All. GREAT VIDEO. AS. USUAL. GREAT. NOW You Can Upgrade The Trans. Exellent.!!
I want to say you did a great job on it. I'm sorry that you're transmission broke on it. But I know that you're going to fix it and probably make it better than it was. I like the low light on the gas tank. I think that would be a great idea for my case 446. My fuel tank is plastic. So the way you did it would work good. I'm thinking that it's just 12 voltage to it and to the accessory off the key switch would work for power. It a great idea. Love your videos.
I’m surprised the Hauler doesn’t have a regular manual clutch like the old Cushmans from that era did. The place I used to work had a late 90’s 4 wheeled Cushman with a dump bed and it had a 5 speed manual trans…that thing would really fly for what it was, it did over 40mph.
Considering that sewing machine is older than you (but not me) I'd say that motor has earned it's keep. Looks like several have offered replacements but if that fails, take it to a good shop and rebuild it...good for another 60+ years.
Mr Dactyl you never cease to amaze with your phenomenally wide skill set. However your greatest accomplishment (along w their mom i'm sure) is the great job you did raising your sons. They are very fine & super talented young men. I always look forward to Sunday when i can visit with y'all.

Oh btw, don't ever stop with the sound effects like the seals, springs, etc... No matter how many times I hear em, I always get a laugh and that's all that matters!
Especially the 💩sounds!
Fluffy the rat's laugh always gets me! There was one video with no Fluffy laugh, I was heartbroken 💔 lol
Hay Junior!
Ya'll Paw?
Where's that other can of polish?
It's on order Paw. Why?
I have to polish the Trans NOW! HaHaHAHAHA
Awesome video Mr. Betsy Ross!

Thanks for the video!
Best small engine channel on youtube! Keep the great videos coming.
😊
Hey Taryl, I love the two tone seat and back rest.
Grass Rats Garage...and Upholstery Shop!!! Beautiful work!!
Looks like the beverage holder is made from ABS pipe , I like the side mirrors
That would be a good addition to my John Deere LX 255 to see what's behind me
Really good work.
Super good program, episode, show. Tarell . Much cooler than just a video.
Love it Taryl. May need to make that trans bullet proof as well.
That was a fun video. When I was getting a new rider a couple years back, a cup holder was one of my "gotta have's". LOL
Good morning. My husband said he has a motor for the sewing machine if you’d like it? Where does he send it?
Hi Jean, please email us. taryfixesall@gmail.com
Show was so good i watched it twice great work on those seats , whole project is awesome
Seat looks amazing. Actually the whole vehicle looks really nice. Good job 👍🏻

Nice job on the seats and nice job in the fuel gauge not bad for an old man 👍
👍 cool video Taryl...right on!
Damn man I've been watching you for a long time and I can do just about everything you can do but I could NEVER sew a seat up like that.. lol
Kudos !!
I’m impressed Mr T very nice job on that seat ! You definitely live up to your name .
“Maybe it’ll be something simple”. “Doesn’t look like it’ll be something simple”.
Wooooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!
Great work! You are one talented guy. Thanks for all your excellent videos.... Salutations from the Great White North.
Your portrait is very good for your 1st time excellent job

I made a drink holder out of PVC too. I cut a slot for the handle of my travel mug. That also gave me access for the mounting screws.
nice job on seats

Outstanding workmanship Taryl!
Still have my 1983 Heald Hauler I built from a kit. A solid machine I use everyday on my farm.
My dad had bought a Karl Heald trike kit, came in huge wooden crates. We had several fun weekends putting it together. Had a 8 hp Tecumseh engine on it
I like the fire it up decals on cup holders
WoW that turned out awesome, I like it.
That is awesome
That appolstry looks amazing Tarly. Nice work!
Those LED lights on make it look like Speed Buggy from the Wacky Races. Love it. Great video!
Yah cant beat them old sewing machines mine is a 47 Kenmore. Anyhoo seat looks great, and great vid I use those nutserts alot at home. They are awesome.

Told the wife I need a sewing machine. She said why? I said cuz Taryl has one! Lol. Nice polish on that turd! Looks better than new!
Those seat covers look like a new pair of spats!!!
You did a good job on the seat. Looks good!
Great job!
Lighten UP Francis!
Very nice restoration work. I have never been a fan of seeing you treat machinery hard the way that you do. I'm sure you can fix it though.
Great video with lots of useful detail tips. I'm sorry your transmission broke, but I dont doubt you will not only fix it but make it better. "Grab Handles"? Taryl, the way you drive, it needs a lap belt and shoulder harness. LOL
Pretty cool! Hopefully I’ll see you in that at Pontiac this year!
Nice upholstery work!
Say it like this heeled I had friends growing up named Heald just saying keep up the good work
Great job taryl.
Those headlights look fantastic on there.

Great job! You are a man of many talents!
That turned out great Taryl! Too bad the transmission went out in it. Now you have content for another video.
Great channel Thank You for all Your hard work and entertainment
It looks good. Just enough modifications to make it more useful and pretty. I would like to see a minibike restoration as one of your next projects.
Another nice job by Taryl. Too bad about the transmission. I hope you can find parts.
Lookin forward to the fix
Welcome back to Taryl Wrecks Some! The seat looks great! Did Carol Dactyl have to advise at all?
Pretty fine job you did there Taryl!! It would be a great vehicle for the "Lawn mower detectives".
I like the hauler very cool 😎 great work. 👍
Look's like Saddle Shoe's Taryl! LOL!
Pls NEVER Stop k. We love you Unkle Taryl 🙏😊✔️👍👍
Nice job. Maybe line the cup holders with foam from an air filter to keep beverages in snug.
That seat looks really good Taryl!
The headlights look like they are eye balls lol. Remind me of those crazy eyes. 👀
Great job with the upholstery
Taryl. You should see my postwar Lionel train collection if ya like that stuff
the old shoe black and white I believe were called saddle shoes! Nice job or the refurbished hauler
Taryl, you can sand down the carbon brush from a power tool to make them fit. I learned this from a guy that does motor repair. Start with something that is close to the same size.
Need a radio in that Hauelr!!
OMG You said wire it up, and I started thinking wire it up wire it up wire it up and THEN IT HAPPENED LOLOLOLO *gasp* *cough* LOLOLOLOLROFLMAO
Nice! 🙂 love your content, look forward to your next video! Godspeed from the Yakima Valley in Washington State.
Your Spitfire is beautiful!
great video sir
Nice build!
You get good at stuff by doing stuff. Success is falling down seven times and getting up eight. Remember, you ain't licked until you say you are.
Taryl you can easily make your own piping just use a small piece of wire and a zipper foot. I got the same easy rider poster on my wall. I cut out the ad from mini bike guide back in the day.
I got a singer motor in my basement that might work they made the sewing machine for Sears. I'll send it to the P.O. box next month for you .
Awesome!! Not so much for bumpy terrain though :)

Taryl you forgot to top off the trans. with some Hamm's, nice job on the Hauler! see you on the next video...
I saw a fella do the index cards to paint the wheels and worked perfect!
Hauler looks great. I like all the small mods you made. Hopefully the trans problem is simple. You may need a parts donor machine.
Brilliant video thank u 😍😄😁😅😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
so Taryl is now an upholsterer this man has endless talents
Taryl some fancy cars use different colored piping. I wonder how red vinyl piping would have looked?
Good video
