The 928 is great and you can add modifications with the profit from the 1332. Get the articulated chute, maybe a bucket extension or Honda drift cutters.

It’s all I need for the small winters we get. Hope I don’t regret it.

Very nice machines. I’m going to be getting a 928 just trying to decide if I need the tracks or if I can get by with the wheels. I live in New Hampshire so the snow is hit or miss. But I have one steep part of my driveway I need to get up. The rest is easy. I’ve been running a late 80s John Deere 826 that just has a differential it doesn’t do the best but it also has really crappy tires. Two questions do you find that the 926 with the wheels tends to ride up in the big snowbanks at the end of the driveway? When your driveway is a little slick how is the traction going uphill with the wheels versus tracks.

Hi there! Thanks for watching and commenting. I actually just sold both of these machines and grabbed a brand new 1332 tracks lol. The wheels do tend to move up / ride up at end of driveway. That’s why I chose tracks. And with the new track models, there is steering finally and gas strut to make it easier for the user to move it. It’s an amazing and much needed upgraded. If you have time please watch my newest video on this

Also, what may you consider the 928 over the 1332, just curious? When I was in the showroom he had both out with an ariens Kraken. He showed me both. The 928 was $3299 brand new and this one was $3699. For an extra $400 I thought to myself having a hour meter, extra horsepower, more width cutting, larger chute articulated height, auger detection feature it was worth getting the 1332. I see why some go for the 928 due to getting in between tight locations though.

Thanks. I will check your new video. Yea I was noticing they improved the steering on the tracked and wheeled machines with the triggers. The main reason I was considering the 928 over the 1332 was price. 3300$ was already a chunk of change. I was ready to buy a Ariens pro 28 but then I happened to look at the Hondas. I absolutely love Honda engines. But the ariens has the 420cc LCT engine. That a lot of power. But people tell me the 9 hp Honda preforms just as good. The other thing about the errands that makes me hesitant is what they call their auto steer I’m not sure how well that would work on my gravel driveway.

@@IHcubcadet I’ve only owned a ariens deluxe 28” sho for ariens and it was good. But after 3-4 years stuff started breaking. The bolts on the side that hold the auger shaft in place all sheared off. I find that unacceptable for 4 years of use or less. It was a great machine though and could throw snow far. Another thing, Ariens had friction disk drive that would go bad every 4-5 years. I see a lot of people saying they have to replace them. So I went up with Honda since not many have issues with these machines. The ease of starting is a breeze as well. Ariens I had to turn like 5 switches to start the thing. Honda I turn a key with choke on and it’s on first try.

Personally I would never go below 300cc for a snow blower engine.

Yeah the power is a big thing especially with the end of driveways

I'm considering both of these blowers. I have access to a brand new 2021 928 for 2600.00, verses a 1332 for 3600.00 I am looking to use it only for our residential home. I do not have any steep drives to clean, but we have extremely uneven sidewalks. Any suggestions? thanks for you review.

Glad to help! I did a video on 928 vs 1332 recently on an action video so you can see which works better. The 928 goes faster. The 1332 tracks goes slower. The old 1332 like this one is very difficult to turn as their is no steering. The 928 wheels has steering even though it has wheels. I actually sold both and got a brand new Honda hss1332 track machine last year. I was loving the steering on the 928 so much that it brought me to getting the biggest baddest on. I have a ton of videos of the new one as well. Thank you for watching.

@@pcfriese4570 your welcome. If you want fast I’d go wheels! However my new 1332 goes pretty damn fast 💨 if you want the most powerful go with the 1332. If you need to get in between narrow spaces go with something less wide like the 928 or 724

Nope no room with my mowers and pressure washer. Plus we don’t get snow ❄️ really to use it. Videos up now.
