Jacob! I think you should do god weeks on Njord and Týr, they're very under-appreciated deities that were once so revered in pre-christian Scandinavian society.

I've been following this channel since around the beginning of the pandemic. I've enjoyed your videos and learning what it means to be a Norse pagan. On Monday when I started watching the first video in this series I started crying. I couldn't understand why. All I knew is I felt so overwhelmed with emotions and the tears were really flowing. I was so confused for a moment and then it hit me. Odin. Odin was why I was crying. It doesn't seem like such a big deal, but I've been a firm atheist for around 15 years now. The last time I cried this hard over something was when I was deep into my christian faith in my early 20s. I started on my pagan path around 5 years ago and often found myself unable or willing to connect with any deity because of lingering trauma from being a christian. On Monday I felt Odin while watching your video. For the first time in a long time I felt connected to my spirituality like never before. I've spent this past week taking the time to watch your series on Odin and it's given me a lot to think on. So thank you for this series. I should also mention that I normally don't go talking about my spirituality in the comments of a RUclips video, but I felt like this was something I should share.

I get it…this series has been bringing me to tears too. Today I am on my couch which is fine, yesterday I was sitting at my daughters school in line to pick her up…tears turned to laughter as I realized some of the students were looking at me. lol Hail Woden!

This is very inspiring. We as pagans need to be able to see and hear and think in actual worship, actual words, strong ritual. Not complicated rituals, just strong rhetoric.

I've seen many people ask "what should I give this/that god?" It's exactly as you said, I've found that it's whatever is meaningful or of value to you, even just a favorite food, is a meaningful sacrifice to them!
P.S. I love 'video voice' Jacob lol & Odin likes a little pomp and circumstance now and then ;)

Ive only had a very few times odin has come to me and its always been when im at my lowest and lost. My last visit. I was very depressed and lost and going thru some tough personal stuff and i was lost. I went outside and looked up and just started talking to Odin. I shared a beer with him. Its all i had at the time and i asked him to help guide me and to help me find myself and thru the trees i saw a beam of light in broad day light that was brighter than anything else and i instantly felt this calming feeling and a feeling that all will be ok in the end. I didnt see anything physical. I never have physically seen Odin but i am 100% sure that was odin saying fear not my son for i am here. I havent forgotten u and it gave me this sense of strength and i vowed to not let odin down and i will find my way back home and find myself again

I'm fairly new to the pagan faith by a few months after feeling a connection with magic, the gods, vikings and mythology most of my life. There is a path in the woods near a field that I take my children to. We had started traveling down it to see where it led once before but I felt this... almost fear after about 5 minutes to NOT take my children with me. It's been quite some time now since then and I'm currently home alone. My husband is at work, my children are at school. I'm cleaning the house feeling the need to open windows to let in natural light and fresh air even though I have AC's in each room. And as I listen to this video, that trail popped into my mind accompanied by the need to go. So I'm going to stop cleaning, even though I still need to fold laundry, mop the floor, clean a fan, wipe down a table and dust some electronics. I'm going.
Just got back. Was gone about an hour and a half in total. Felt amazing to reconnect to nature in a way I haven't in almost 15 years. Got some great pictures of nifty things I found along the way. Talked to Odin for the first time (I'm a Lokean). Didn't have a strong drink to offer him but I did have my water and thought, perhaps because he is a wanderer he might appreciate a drink to quench his thirst. Sat atop a bolder the land had reclaimed beside a single tree and gave my offering as I spoke a little. Felt pretty good. Felt Loki with me after I began walking again. He almost tripped me. (I know it was Loki as I hadn't tripped the whole time or any time after that on my whole outting. I grew up in the woods and know how to watch my foot placement.) All in all was a really amazing experience.

Thank you so much for your content!
I've been a pagan myself for a year, but I don't really have community of like-minded people around as I live in pretty small Christian country. I didn't really know how other people worship Odin, everything I was doing came from my heart. It feels so relieving to know that people around the globe do the same practices as you do. I also had this divine moments with trees and pour Allfather some drinks and serve my patron by gaining and sharing knowledge. It always felt a bit insane following some practices, but I feel really relieved and happy, that I am not alone in this world.

I've recently opened my eyes to norse paganism, to the Gods, and your videos have guided me greatly. My friends long ago, gifted me a runic bracelet, and to connect myself to the Gods I decided to begin wearing it. But every time I put it on, it would break, never in the same location. It felt like it was the gods telling me to let go of that past. To make new connections and to truly have a new connection with the Gods

I usually don't comment on videos. A couple years ago I quit organized religion. Not sure really what I believe but I love learning about past traditions and cultures. I love researching cultures from the first Nations, of which now is the USA, to Europe and around the Mediterranean. Basically the more primitive for better.
I was drawn to specific cultures but never knew why. Recently did the DNA test and found that I am English, Germanic, Scottish and Scandinavian. Always been drawn to nature and tribal culture.
Not sure why I said all that because mainly I just wanted to say that I've watched quite a few of your videos. I just realized today how much I was smiling watching this video. It made me happy and I just wanted to say thank you.

Hail Odin! He's getting a bronze statue and a mead horn on top of my bookshelf altar!
He first showed his presence when a bronze statue caught my eye, one of him speaking to to the ravens. I asked him for a sign. At the time when I was carrying a rune a day in dedication to learning them. When Oss came up I went to the barbershop that day and was in my chair getting a haircut. Everytime I said the word father, for 3 or more times during storytelling, the lights would go out for 2 seconds and come back. This was when the weather was good in late September. No wind, and no rain. That day when I went to my job the rune gave me a skull rushing ability to learn and observe not only my own words, but those of others. That's when I knew Odin was to be honored in my household! My warship includes lighting him a candle, and studying the mythology, sagas, and magicks so far, but he will be getting wine on Mondays as soon as I can afford his horn and statue.

As a non-pagan who likes to watch videos about paganism, I very much enjoyed the clips in this video. I don't think you should worry too much about doing exaggerated voices, especially if they come from a genuine place of passion. It might even be good to spice things up here and there with a little bit of theatricality.

Honestly, ever since I've begun this track of aspiring to Paganism, I've seen more and more pagans in the area. A work with a friend who is one, he proclaims Odin, and then I have people come by the restaurant and recognize Mjölnir, one even said he was a Pagan as well, and the best notice for me was this; I was hurrying by Lowe's for my boss, saw this old man, maybe 60s+, with a circular necklace and Mjölnir. And I didn't notice until after we already parted that he was wearing it, and I was excited to have seen him, although I sadly missed the chance to interact, because it showed that even in a religion that's a minority, there's still plenty of us, old and youthful, who can follow their heart and Hail what they believe. Especially Pagans.

I really have to say your videos on Odin are really saving my life because i actually never planned on honoring Odin or anything since i'm just a pretty young, green witch ^^°
But yea....a few days ago he suddenly appeared in my dreams and i woke up with the strong feeling that he was interested in me for some reason. I don't know why or what caused this but yea since then i started informing myself about him and you really helped me looking through all that mass of information. Really really helpful and i'm really grateful! :')
I'm really curious on where this worship will bring me but at the same time i'm a bit scared, i can't deny! :'33

Hello The Wisdom of Odin, if i did post this before then please ingore but i wanted share this. I am a Draconic pagan but same time collective pagan, i do use the dragon or draconic energy. When i was doing meditation to search for my god and nothing until one day. It was like night time as i saw mountains and moonlight with clouds over the moon. I ask "who is my god" and about 2 minutes i heard "Odin!" as for me took a sign Odin as answered as to be my god since my primary is Tiamat. Even now to this day while watching i have a thing like i can listen and let my spirit wonder and Odin was there with my third eye, We chatted gave my wisdom to him and in general i felt like it was both Gandalf the grey and the white except one eye. I told him as to me when looking at Odin just feels he guide me and why i except him as to guide me to better myself in this life as much Tiamat with her guiding mother ways too just feels i am on the right path. There are some i still things i still keep with the All father since to me sometimes things are more sacred to keep it between me and Odin. I know this as for me if i know Odin is near then i feel his presents with some ravens if not and just random crows and ravens then i know it is nature telling me something. I hope we can talk to face to face sometime since i do live in the US and wanted share this.

    Greatings from Denmark 🇩🇰
I know that this may not be of that much interest to you but nevertheless…If you haven’t already tried this I would recommend you to do a Google Translate english/danish on Odin and push the loudspeaker button. It gives you a nordic pronunciation of the name Odin in both danish, swedish and norwegian. Those three languages are very similar…especially danish and norwegian. Most danish, swedish and norwegian people are able to understand each others native tongue. The reason for my suggestion to use the danish translation is that both Norway and Sweden historically has been under danish rule for a lengthy period of time just like England was for some time. The areas ruled by Denmark varies in size during the viking age. A well known danish king of England during this period who ruled all of England except from the area known as Wessex was king Canute or rather king Knud as his danish name is who was born around 995 and died november 12’th 1035.

Not a pagan myself (just interested and hoping to learn more) but I couldn't help but to notice that the tree which the staff was resting upon has what looks to be one open eye and one closed eye, as well as a beard (27:46).
What's odd for me, personally, is how Odin sacrificed his left eye for wisdom and I close my left eye whenever I read and write as I have Duane's Syndrome (left eye muscle is tighter than the right, pretty mild and has been getting better over the years). Probably reaching, but definitely found it interesting.

And society will still burn you at the stake when found out. Lost so many people in my life over religion, Christians cant handle those who are stronger than them, i guess.
