Thank you for sharing the northern lights! Also, getting in touch with your ethnic roots through food is a great way to do it! Everything you made looked delicious! Cheers to you and William.
Louie I just want you to know thank you. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. I am a homebound individual that cannot go out in public. The only contact I have with anybody is one car attendant one doctor and one nurse and I have two service animals one’s name is knucklehead. The other is buttercup, and the only enjoyment I have in life is watching the videos of groups like yours the adventurous ones the ones that aren’t stuck in one place. Thank you again. I pray someday that I may in someway be able to venture out and take him this great world. I live in one of the most beautiful spots in Texas. It’s right outside of my town called Palo Canyon.I can’t even go down there and take in the beauty. So like I said, thank you again for all your videos.
Praying quick ama for William! Doggie with a upset tummy is no bueno, and I know how much a happy puppy means to a happy life! So awesome being able to follow along with you for these excursions! The soothing rain, the cold crisp air, the warm puppy love, and all of the FREEDOM!!! edit: I hadn't made it to the Northern Lights section yet... WOW WOW WOW!!! THAT is awesome!!!
Beautiful pictures of the northern lights. The heavens declare the glory of God! I could almost smell that meal, it looked delicious. Thanks for the great video.
I think one of the more underrated parts about your channel is that you take a fine tooth comb over the details of not just the out of reach places but the places you might consider touristy in your context of life but not in alot of other peoples lives. Those places have interest to alot of people because your creating reach and the fine details about the places people may never go are actually quite interesting. Somewhere in that i think is your strengths of your channel. Hope you succeed. The context of your channel doesnt always have to be about bushwacking... Funny how a simple walk through a store *in the right context* can be interesting ie: a store in edmonton alberta probably not but a store in mc murdo base antarctica is very interesting.
Kumusta Loui 🙂. I have been watching your videos for quite some time now. I did not know that you were part Filipino. Your shots of the northern lights are pretty awesome. Keep up the great content. And I’ll keep tuning in. 👍
You do this type of video so well! Make-the-best-of-it-out-in-the-weather and cook-something-yummy-from-scratch and show-great-shots-of-nature and relax-with-William! Perfect! Loved it!
I so enjoy being one of your virtual explorers! You continue to amaze with cooking even under adverse conditions! William is so chill and lucky to have you 😊
Louie, you may be the only creator that can make being in the rain, fun and beautiful and yummy. Im hungry now from watching you create your dish!! Thank you!!!❤❤❤
That is so gorgeous! Wow, what a time to go outside! I was still thinking about that meal when you dropped this one. Fantastic meals, fantastic Northern Lights, and proof that at least part of Alaska is a rainforest! Love It, Loui! You also proved how sturdy you 270 degree canopy is as well. I couldn't believe how much rain it was holding and not even sagging a bit! What a great addition to any rig! Adding it to my list now. Thanks for taking us along, @AdventureTimeLoui!
I can see William breathing under his very furry blanket .. ;) Very sweet. Looks like he is out like a light. 😴😴😴Use what ya got sweetheart. plastic is just fine in a pinch. Very happy for you to start finding the other side of your life.
What I think when I finish watching your latest video; I can't wait until Loui makes the next one. William looked like he was thinking lets go visit Mom some more, its too rainy out here. Everything looked delicious, yummie!
I do believe Ill need to try that recipe when Im out truck camping. Doesn't look super complicated for vehicle cooking standards and looks mighty tasty!
Wow, those photos you took of the Northern Lights are really beautiful 😮💚 I love that it showed up without you even planning for it. Mother Nature is truly beautiful. Also, love how we can learn about culture and heritage through food. It's such a wonderful universal language. We are definitely in our comfort girl era too 😊 Thanks for another wonderful video, have a lovely weekend 💚
Love your channel. Especially when you cook. I love cooking and camping too. Nothing tastes better than a good meal on the trail. Yours always looks awesome! 🔥
This was a very relaxing video. Enjoyed the rain and you cooking the adobo. When I was working I had a Filipino friend who would bring adobo and share, and of course her wonderful egg rolls. Thank you for sharing.😊
Somehow, I lost track of you and your mom. I’m back to following both of your channels again and I’m so glad. These meals and the Northern Lights are everything. Thank you for continuing to share your journey with us.
I really enjoyed this video, Loui! The photos of the Northern Lights were spectacular and the drone shots were amazing, as always. Thank you for bringing us along. 💜
Lots to love here - special note to me - I got to see how your awning works! Of course the northern lights were better than that, the food prep was better than that, even William giving a little side eye while cuddled up was better than that! But I've long wondered how does the awning get pulled out / tucked away, and now I've seen it. Thanks!
I lived in the Philippines as a kid, and to this day my favorite thing to make (some in the freezer right now) is still lumpia😊. Btw your aurora shots are beautiful!
That's so great that you're reconnecting with your Filipino roots. My brothers and I grew up in the US with our Dad who is not Filipino, but we have been on the same path of reconnecting with our Filipino side of our family over the last few years. Kudos, kaibigan!
Louie, I'm just an old white guy who's never had to give a thought to "racial identity," so my thoughts on that subject may not mean much. Nonetheless, I just feel compelled to say that when I watch your videos, what I see is a very, very attractive young woman with an adventurous spirit, appreciation of nature, and sweet disposition. I understand the desire to know more about the people and cultures that brought you into existence, but know that you have been shaping your own identity in ways that draw many people in, watching your videos and wanting to know more about you. Best wishes coming your way to find what you're searching for -- and safe travels! As always, thanks for sharing.
“I’m just an old white guy who’s never had to give a thought to racial identity” Why does the second half of that sentence contradict the first so blatantly lol
I've got a Propmaster high roof, but if I didn't have this tiny home on wheels, I would definitely be buying a 4 door Jeep Wrangler! You make that home work!
It would be cool to see you and William in a bigger rig with a bit of room to move around on those rainy days and maybe even a wood stove. Those northern lights were beautiful. Am I the only one who sees images inside those photos of the lights?! 😂
I have always wanted to see the Northern lights… but as elusive as it is, I won’t hold my breath lol 🤷🏽♀️, you’re so lucky. It’s extremely rare for someone to be just one ethnicity, even people who think they’re just one ethnicity almost never are. Myself, I’m a total mut, I’m Hawaiian, Samoan, Tahitian, Venezuelan, Portuguese, Japanese, Irish and black. Where I grew up (Hawai’i), probably half of the population is mixed (& we tend to be mixed with a lot of different ethnicities), so I never felt like I didn’t fit in… I feel like I’m all the ethnicities that I am & I love knowing that I have a home & ancestry in so many places in this world. You should consider visiting the Philippines if you can. It’s beautiful, the people are amazing & it’s a very affordable place to visit (aside from the flight to get there lol). I think once you visit there, you’ll feel more connected to your Filipino ancestry.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on race and ethnicity. I have been curious about that but one hates to be nosey. Also the iPhone shots, especially after the grainy footage were AMAZING ❤️🏴😎
I live clear down in the lower 48 in Pennsylvania and the northern lights were visible here last night and I missed it😢. I've never seen them and I really wanted to
So great cool 😇 was in Alaska 2&1/2 months this summer. travel alone so fires are few n far between , however your little dutch oven has made me more curious . ThanQ ! ~peace~

Thank you for showing us the beauty of Alaska, and how even the smallest details of nature can be just as breathtaking as a "Wonder of the World". 🧡
Those lights are a testament to the great protection we enjoy daily on this beautiful planet.

For a backup rainy day meal, that dish you made looked killer. Next time, make enough for the whole class. ;P
YES, made me hoongry😋
You should try making it! All you really need a few veggies and a cheap ramen packet!
What ingredients did you put in?... lol you made me hungry!
I saw beef strips
I see rice noodles, instead of top yuk ..bakala
I do believe Ill need to try that recipe when Im out truck camping. Doesn't look super complicated for vehicle cooking standards and looks mighty tasty!
Those iPhone photos of the lights are amazing! Food looked delish too. I really like rainy camping videos for some reason. 😊
I especially liked your photos of the Northern Lights, even beautiful subjects need a skillful hand to draw them. Hello from Ontario, Canada.
William all wrapped up was sooo cute❤. You are so right. Food cooked over an open first tastes wonderful.

Adobo is the best comfort food! My favorite is chicken adobo with rice that way the sauce has something to soak into.
