Thanks for watching! ❤ I had to use my iPhone for the majority of this video and I find it changes how I film. Do you guys like more raw videos or more cinematic videos? Lemme know because I feel like I was able to be myself more with this style of vlogging which made it a lil more fun too!
Love this way of filming .. do whatever you enjoy the most … and love the curly girl bangs .. my hair is super dry for some reason right now and I have more fluffy frizz now instead of white curls ..
You and Simon make a great duo. I think it’s so cool how you guys do separate stuff but come back together again. You guys are independent but are also humble in sharing time together. True good friends and that is something I love about the vanlife nomad life are the like lifestyle friends you guys make as your all on the same page living in a vehicle.
I remember Bob Wells demoing how when visiting Alaska, he flew in and rented some kind of van, bought some cheap stuff at Walmart and good will, and spent his few weeks up in your nick of the world quite comfy, a happy camper ! He also started very basic, walking by a van, thinking of how much $$ he was wasting on rent, and got the idea of trying to live in a van. Very successful stories. Definitely the box truck mansion is a great idea, not sure about as much mobility or accessing remote areas, but definitely more visitor friendly. Love your spirit, doing great given the circumstances, hope the jeep is up and running 😉⚒⚘🇨🇦🍃☔
You are so blessed to be able to see just how much you appreciate your set in your Jeep. Simon is such a great and kind hearted friend to you. Always willing to help.🙏🏻💕
Love seeing you Loui❤!!! Your cheerful, resilient perspective on life, and your willingness to continue to learn from your experiences and share them with others is so appreciated 💞!!! Watching you and William is such a refreshing and delightful experience!!! Seeing Foresty and Rocko was an added treat!!! Friends are so important and necessary for our health and happiness. I'm so glad that you have each other and that we have you and your example.❤ Thank you 😊!!!
This was by far one of our favorites! Love you’re channel, love when you and Simon collaborate, you’re freakin awesome, Alaska’s beautiful, Nova Scotia here, love your videos 😜
Box truck conversion looks like a great option after looking for inspiration online! The height, amount of space and the ability to put in a window and door are pretty awesome.
The space is the only benefit, and there are major downsides. They ride and handle like a power wheels and shake, rattle and roll over every tiny bump. All while getting maybe 12mpg downhill, with a tailwind.
Lui, I have been camping out of my 2020 Jeep Gladiator, all the while building a new camper to put in the box of the Gladi. I like this because I still feel like I’m on a Jeep adventure. You guys have fun…life is your invention, be happy, work hard and play even harder!
We all need a friend like Simon 😊 I enjoyed this style video but also love your usual style. I'm not always a fan of vlog style, but with certain people and personalities it's nice to see a more candid side at times 😊 Happy that you enjoyed a break from social media and filming though. 9:35 Rocko definitely likes your curly girl hair haha 😅😂 Glad to see William's leg and mobility seems to have improved 😊 I hope you are all doing well 💚 Hoping that the U-Haul is treating you and William okay while the Jeep gets fixed. I hope the Jeep is fixed up soon or you have it back by now 😊
Grandma always says, "throw a few doilies down and we can call it home" 🥰 I hope you get your jeep back soon. It's better to have the spray and not need it, safety first. It was sad about all the trash, that's irritating. I did see Simon's video too, loved the vid he did on Girls Mountain.
I just noticed that I'm smiling while watching this whole video. It probably fell in my feed due to FF. But I'm subscribed. Going to follow the rest of your journey.
I’ve been enjoying your channel! I loved watching this video and seeing Slowroamers and CheapRV living making a cameo appearance haha ! I watch them both. Hope the Jeep is set for you and many more adventures ahead.
This was a great raw video, nothing wrong with mixing it up. Sometimes a cinematic masterpiece, sometimes a romcom adventure. Bottom line, either way you look like you’re having fun, living a good life. Keep it up!
Love the curly bangs. Amazing how you adapt to challenging situations with a lot of positive attitude and demeanour. You must be an old soul. Keep up the great work! Say hi to Simon!
Girl power do what you need to do like you’re doing love seeing that smile on your face and glad you got some rest with friends. Continue on. Stay blessed.
@derrick1964 Loner is a safe space, but it can wear on one after a bit. BTDT. Mr. Forest has a tent, should he suddenly need to house an unprepared guest.
I’m glad you haven’t stayed in a hotel/ motel ❤❤❤you. Would’ve missed out on the friends you met at the camp site, you were with forest forest and Rocko❤❤❤❤ thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
Decades ago, old cars were frequently dumped along stream banks to prevent/reduce erosion during severe flooding. Engine/fluids/transmission/glass were removed. The vehicle would fill with stream sediment and become very lodged. Sometimes the vehicles were tied together with large cables. Sometimes the tires remained due to how they were transported. Last year, California central valley a levee broke and vehicle were deliberately rolled in as an emergency flow restriction. Windows and all. To be removed later, maybe already.
I had a jeep and then I bought a converted short bus. I still take the bus places I used to take the jeep. Including a very rugged off road OHV trail in Arizona. It's an adventure for sure.
Love how you've adapted to your jeep problems. I've been looking at box trucks and shuttle buses for my next rig - they're more nimble than my current cargo trailer and suv. I've gotta have room to stand up!
Your bangs are cute🥰 So glad Simon could join you especially while you waited ti get back to your jeep. And I like this filming style just as much as your regular. It's different and fun😀
I.'m glad you are able to hang out with so many awesome people and you're making the most out of each situation!!!! =) I always thought about building out an old ambulance but my 99' Honda CRV is getting me everywhere I need to be!! That sucks about you getting booted off that one awesome site! Last week my husband and I were going down this national forest rd in Virginia and someone very deliberately tried to make it seem as if it was a private rd. We stumbled upon a beautiful developed campsite at high elevation and luckily no one confronted us
Engine light doesn't always mean instantly needed or costly repair. For about 20 dollars you can buy a scanner to plug in and check engine codes. It gives you an idea of what is wrong. The 3.6 Pentastar isn't a bad engine.
Another All-Star show with @AdventureTimeLoui! You go, girl! Glad to see you and Simon @ForestyForest together again. I already checked out the @SlowRoamers channel & subbed. Bob Wells? Even better. Love your adventures, even in a UHaul. You can also rent a van from UHaul, as seen in the @CheapRVliving video on the topic. Good luck with your van repairs! P. S. For future reference, you could have rented the smallest storage unit you could find for a fraction of that AirBnB (just a guess). When you get your Jeep back, return the key. ❣William & Rocko ❣
Hello Loui👋🏾 Always good to see your latest adventure. That Uhaul truck definitely looks like an adventure! BTW... Your new hairstyle looks beautiful! It becomes you!
Nothin’ wrong with hangin’ in a u-Haul for a few days,You’ll appreciate your Jeep when you get it back and maybe give you some ideas as far as a different vehicle to live in
Great space, best for people who live van life full time. Beautiful customisation and its done. It would be better if there would be no parking charges for van dwellers. And if one can repair his own vehicle, that its great
Just found your channel ❤ I recognized that little dog before I even saw foresty!!!! Yes to a box truck for your travels. It's very hard to go freedom camping in New Zealand anymore cos of the new laws and restrictions.
This was a great video ! Good luck on having your jeep repaired and glad you had some time to camp with friends ! Thanks to Simon I started watching your channel ! Thanks and will be watching your adventures !
Both styles of videos are cool in my opinion. Take care of yourself, in all cases. If only the weather had been at least dry. Rough times. See you in the next one
Just recently started watching your channel. Loved the last video, raw cell footage was a nice change. Also your positivity is contagious and amazing! Hope your luck turns around in Alaska!
Great video, Loui - good food and friends, and Bob Wells! Sorry you're having such troubles with the Jeep. Interesting to watch you make the U-Haul truck work, and consider how a box truck could work as a van life home longer term. Looking forward to the next video.
The Pentastar tick is a problem in some of the pre-2019 engines. They will install the new camshafts and fix it with any luck. You deserve some luck with your easy going nature. We have a Pentastar in our 2020 Promaster with 100,000 miles and had it up over 15,000 feet high last week and it did fine. Cheers from Pisco Peru.
Most of the state of Alaska is federal land, therefore public land. Get a map and you can camp on BLM or US forest service land for 14 days and move on a couple miles and stay some more. Lots of camping here in Alaska, especially in South Central.
I’m going to be doing a no-build buildout in my E-450 shuttle bus for my planned trip to Tuktoyatuk next June-July. The box truck idea will work the same. Sweet William is looking good.

I’m not skilled enough to discern camera differences, so it’s all good to me! 😅
Definitely enjoyed this change up!
Steve Wallis would approve this video!
Time to hunker down
Time for a step two
Ha!
Steve Wallis got BANNED (for life) from renting a Uhaul for a camping video. Please be careful out there.
@@domjrlexactly lol ole loui gunna get the same lol

Simon is really rockin' the Unabomber look, with his hoodie and sunglasses.

Excellent observation, he's just trying to protect his brand, wondering when Mr Beast is going to call...

Loui, Foresty, Alex and Meg, all in one video. How awesome is that. Three of my favorite channels, you all rock.❤

Can’t 4 wheel it though.
major downside: no windows.

Make it 4wd, put some windows I. It. Still will be limited on places to go but what a nice change. Don’t have to do it for ever…

The partially burried car is a 1954 to 56 Buick. The Cadillac and Oldsmobile shared that fender, but the cast "portholes" are the givaway.
