Sammy and Mike are the real deal
Daris is funny.
Sammy is as straight up as they come.
We have mutual friends.
I love when people post comments talking out of their @ss..
Sammy & Mike my two favorite VH members.
have you heard vh today Dave sounds like he swallowed a cheese grater
Sammy & Mikey are also my favorite VH members, rock on Robert.
Lmao ..all the cats howl when he sings 😯
Absolutely!.. the rest of those guys (ed, Dave, Alex) spend too much time kissin' their own ass.
Michael Anthony is a great legend!
GOD BLESS YOU SAMMY AND MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can anyone not fucking love sammy hagar? He always seems like he's having so much fun.
Now these are the stories I love to hear.
Got to see Hager solo in 1983. Tickets $12.50 and Sammy earned every cent. Check out Sammy live in St. Louis it was the same show I saw in St. Paul, MN.
these guys are awesome both of them, such a nice people.
Hard to believe Eddie wouldn't come around on these guys. Life it too short - and F*** are these guys talented!
I would love to have been around that flourishing of a music scene in my lifetime. I was born a couple of decades too late. I love videos like this. Technology is a blessing and a curse. 🤘🏻
I think the same thing too! I wish I was around then too! 60's 70's and even the 80's music in the prime stages of greatness!
You´re The Best Sammy!!!!!!!!!
Three of THE best thundering bass solos I ever witnessed in my long, illustrious concert attending "career" were played by Michael Anthony, Chris Squire, and Pete Sears! Thanks guys.
I saw Mikey and Alex one night at the Starwood upstairs doing lines off the table lol 💁🏼♂️😂
love you sammy! you rock!
I'd listen to these 2 talk for hours
The coolest dudes in rock
In my opinion Van Halen was at its best with these two!
#1 album after #1 album. On the top for 10+ years until Ed in 1996 like Roth in 1985, made the dumbest decision in his life & career.
These two guys are the TWO BEST THINGS TO EVER HAPPEN TO VAN HALEN!
TRUE, Van Halen truly went to hell without these 2 & I love the Van Halen Brothers. But I gotta call a spade a spade.
God I love those guys... RIP Eddie... thank you guys for the amazing journey and the memories =)
I was hanging out on the Sunset Strip at the same time too! FUN FUN FUN!!!!!
Sammy you have the greatest personality man.
I like his back up vocals on Van Halen Albums
Love you two!
We need an in-depth interview between Sammy & Michael Anthony
Michael still looks good
Want to see you at del mar again. Great concert!
I love the way Sammy says San Bernardino. Only someone from here says it like that.
I saw Sammy with his band before VH in San Bernardino and they played for 3 hours.Awesome!!
Reminds me of a night walking up and down the sidewalk on Carlton St. in front of Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto the night Van Halen was playin' on their 1984 tour. I was in a panic trying to get scalper tickets at the last minute. Meanwhile, clock was ticking and I was afraid the concert was underway. As luck would have it I scored a ticket and got in just in time as they took the stage. A night I'll never forget.
Yes, Sammy is indeed an Inland Empire hometown guy!
Go sammy !!!!
go sammy go . u rock
It's great hearing rockers talk about the old days. The sit down that Ed, Alex, and Roth did when they released A Different Kind of Truth is outstanding.
how cool is this
Man I’ve had a time or two there;)....... good stuff.
I've played on that stage. Ah. Memories.
Randy Fricke Really? When? Are u in a band?
We need more Chickenfoot Sammy, please!!!!!!
emanuelvl7 We don't need more Chickenfoot...we need more Van Hagar!
emanuelvl7 We need anything with Sammy in it 😎👍
This is GReat!
#vanhalen LEGENDS 🤘😎🎸 RIP #eddievanhalen 🎸
Saw Van Halen on their first tour I believe at the James l Knight center in Miami 1978 with some band open them for them called the screams and the screams weren't all that good at all, but Van Halen rocked that place. It was running with the devil album
What these guys are talking about can no longer happen. Music like this doesn't exist anymore.
Hey Sammy..When you and Van Halen didn't show for the grand opening of Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas...( it had been hugely promo'd on KLOS for a week..it was supposed to be on memorial day 1990 I believe.. ) Me and my GF flew down from L.A. excited to be there with ya'll..have some marg's and nachos and rock out with VH..When the manager told me ya'll weren't gonna make it for that night..I said.."Shit man my band is here in Cabo and we'll play the opening night for free! He said come back at 6pm do a sound check and if I like it you got a deal..free drinks and food (yeah total BS I didn't have a band there..but spent the next 3 hours getting some local santana wanna be's, a Peruvian percussionist and a very hung over white guy they knew who played sax. We all went back to my hotel room...ran thru some tunes..mostly my originals..haha..BUT the best part was I didn't have a guitar with me. The manager went upstairs and pulled out a sunburst Ovation acoustic electric...said it was yours....it had a silver flat pick stuck in it....The rest is history...Thanks mate for all the music thru the years...
Ever one as played at the go go but I always think of Morrison when I think of the whiskey so back in 70 I went to see the doors and after the set Jim came and sat at our table him Pam and Ray and Jim was showing me the new lyrics for LA women and ask if I'd like to come to the studio and watch them recording it we had a awesome time then my fucking alarm clock went off and woke me up fuuuck!
Cool
I used to go to Gazzarri's all the time between 79' 80'....They had a Led Zeppelin cover band called SeaGull...has any body heard of them?
sammys t shirt - Sly stone? Phil lynott? Hendrix? Prince?
And PLEASE!!! More Chickenfoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You two are the coolest dudes in music today. You're the last ones I'm afraid.
Jimi Hendrix .....love him ....
Saw Judas Priest there in the mid 70's just before they broke big.
They seem like a party just talking.
I fuckin love Van Halen and sabbath
A candy bar was a nickel.
haaaaaa !!!! - you fucked me up !!! thanks
I can't believe you're seven years old Sammy you're the youngest oldest rocker Man you're 16 again brother
I see little Mike all the time all 5'1" of him.
Sammy doesn't sound or look a day over 50.
