    It happened for the birth of my second son 9 months ago. I had pains and went to hospital. While I was being checked, there was a sudden gush of blood and an emergency c section was performed immediately. My son was born at 34 weeks. Thank God I went in to get the pain checked out

    Happened during labor, thought it was my water till I saw blood pooling through the blankets. It was a Sunday and they had to call for an obstetrics to deliver, he arrived to assist with placenta. I was told to wait and not push but I did and baby was underweight but healthy. I'm glad I listened to my body or she could have drowned in my womb in my opinion.

    This happened with my daughter. My daughter needed an emergency c-section.
    The emergency C-Section was performed, and the baby is fine.
    Baby Tabitha is 7 months old.

    Watching this video as a med student that just wanna pass his assignment and then seeing women talking abt how did it feel going through it in the comments is insane, i always forgot that the everyday uni stuff i casually read are actual ppl experiences

    This happened to me and I’m 25 years old. My mom had a placental abruption with me when I was born extremely premature and I could have died so she had to get an emergency c section. I was 24 weeks premature and wasn’t expected to survive and as a result of this birth trauma I have developed neurological and developmental disabilities. Have vision problems as well due to the blood vessels in my left eye being damaged from oxygen therapy after having it for 6 weeks in the NICU and my lungs weren’t fully developed either. I didn’t ask for this. Everyone kept on saying that I was going to die. Weighed 1 pound 10 ounces which is a low birth weight being I was 24 weeks premature and I was so small that I could fit into the palm of my dad’s hand, my skin was paper thin, had to be fed through a feeding tube, had laser surgery on both of my eyes and I had to be on oxygen for 6 whole weeks straight which is a total of 42 days. I’ve developed autism, ADHD, anxiety and depression. I don’t wish this on anyone and I wish things were different.
    By God’s grace and undeserving mercy I’m alive and can breathe on my own without the help of a machine. He completely healed my lungs.

    I had during my induction day well the next day when i was suppose to deliver. Thought my water broke and there was soo much blood everywhere and blood clots kept coming out. Had an emergency c section qas only dilated to a 1.5 at the time. Baby was in Nicu for 2 weeks and i was worn out no blood transfusions but lots of fluids and very sleepy. Its pretty scary if this ever happens.

    What is the meaning of compensate?

    • @humbleconfidence8844
      @humbleconfidence8844 Месяц назад

      It means to make up for. So in this case, they said: baby is able to “compensate” for the decrease in oxygen by increasing his or her heart rate.
      Baby will be able to “make up for” the decrease in oxygen by increasing his or her heart rate.
      Essentially, baby can adapt by increasing their heart rate.
