I was diagnosed with Complete Placenta Previa at 16 weeks. But my Doctor mentioned that there is still a big chance that the placenta would move upward as the uterus grows. I will be having my next Ultrasound at 20 weeks. Hoping and Praying that the placenta will be at the upper part of my uterus by then.

If things don't turn out how you want, keep the bigger picture in mind - a healthy, healthy baby! I rarely think about the emergency section every September 5th, I just give thanks for my fabulous daughter. When I see what can go wrong during pregnancy/birth, I count myself very lucky (although I didn't at the time). There are far, far worse things than a section. Yes I guess, bcs as uterus enlarges placenta retracted upwardly due to the fact that it's implantation site moves upward. Again previa is a kind of placental implantation so it moves upward with physiologic uterus changes too. Even if it is total, it may becomes partial previa via this mechanism (not certain, but most probably)

Yes it can move up but it will never move down. So if the ultra sound shows the placenta is where it should be you do not have to worry about preview. But if there is previea at 24 weeks it may not be previa later on in the pregnancy

My OB never told me this. But the ultrasound tech slipped up and asked if I ever had prévia or if this was my first time. And she said she couldn’t tell me the results (reason for my bleeding) but that the doctor would come back to me with the results which she never did. And I ended up miscarriage with NO DIAGNOSIS. Is that considered NEGLIGENCE?
