If you want the looper function go for the DD-7 or Giga Delay or better still RC-3. This pedal however sounds more organic than the DD-7, and is easy to mod to get it sounding more analog with a little toggle switch.

Its just a sugestion but, you don't need to talk so much, you must explain the effect clearly and nothing more, you start to talk about the manual and other stuff that we don't need to know.

Can you set the delay time by tapping the pedal? How long does it record in loop?

I have an old DD 2 pedal and the hold button is missing. Does the hold button function the same as the DD 3? Or is it more like a loop?
