It's more Quebecois than French as the Acadian accent (or Cajun if you live in the US) comes from the east coast of Canada. Also not trying to correct, just adding onto what you were saying.
The "80's Wolverine" is actually the version from Age of Apocalypse comic. The flying head is Headpool from Marvel Zombies universe & he's voiced by Nathan Fillion.
30:19 lady pool is Blake Lively, kid pool is Inez Reynolds and baby pool is Olin Reynolds. Their oldest daughter James Reynolds played a screaming mutant. Deadpool & Wolverine was a family affair for Ryan Reynolds.
When Deadpool makes the comment of Pinnochio lying like crazy with his nose in his @$$, Gambit says "Ooh, you nasty, mon petit rouge (little red), laissez les bons temps roulez, ah?(Let the good times roll, yeah?)"
Apparently the original line was "It's like Pinocchio stuck his nose up Mickey's ass and started lying like crazy!" but Disney made him dial it back haha
I'm glad a lot of the other cameos weren't spoiled for you. I went to the theater to see and all the cameos got great reactions from the audience. But Blade was by far the greatest. The theater was shaking and almost deafening.
The one thing that didn't occur to me till now, is when Deadpool said, "Say hi to my friends for me." At first, I thought it was typical Deadpool trying to reverse the lines, but missing the mark... but I realized he was sacrificing himself so Logan could have a world to go back to. That small world of family was going to become Logan's surrogate family in Wade's stead.
Who knew a Deadpool movie could be so touching that it could bring a middle aged comic book nerd to tears? I've seen it more than a few times now and it still moves me seeing Logan laid so openly bare. It's funny how even an emotionally constipated person like myself reacts to the utter humanity of a made up not fully human I've grown up loving being portrayed so beautifully.
That part when you find out which Chris Evans it was. For a minute, I did think it was Captain America. Then when Pyro took away his special power, I was like yeah you didn't think this through. Its crazy how they were able to bring back so many of the old actors from previous movies.
That’s how you know the movie is awesome. I too didn’t think about the cowl till he put it on. I completely forgot. I was like oh shit yea. The thing! Lmao
Considering how much 4th wall content there is, I was surprised that Deadpool doesn't talk to the audience when the cameo Marvel characters show up. 'Educated wish' is a term i've never heard before. The way they saved the universe was sort of like Guardians Of The Galaxy, and skipped the reference.
I am not sure.... I heard same things but then someone said that actually the one who was to do it coached Blake Lively on the physical aspects and moves and it was actually Blake that did it.
In the comics there was a whole series where Deadpool wanted to be an Avenger but they wouldn't let him be one... eventually something happened and they gave him a card saying Honorary Avenger on it...
Sadly no that isn't actually Ryan dancing in the suit. That's another person who's a professional dancer, so big sadge. But way of Cope is to just believe it is Ryan Reynolds in the suit
Deadpool and Spiderman are the same in one aspect. They Avengers need them, not the other way around In the comics Spiderman thought he was too cool to need to roll with s posse. Plus he had his own comic anyways but to boost sales of other less popular titles he would join others temporarily letting everyone know he's not staying long. So others where allowed to use Spidey and mention him but the Official Spider-man comics never pausef and continued to come out on schedule. Come on, he's drawn. 😊😊😊
After the 2023 mcu movies were box office bombs(except for Guardians vol.3), i knew this film would do so well. Kudos to the cameos, TVA's appearance, and the farwell of 20th Fox century marvel films.
Accept that headcanon if you want, but it was clearly intended to be a Strange variant. Ryan would only put easter eggs that people actually cared about in the movie.
Not that important, but they said about 4 or 5 times that dogpool is a girl. Great reaction, though, and I'm surprised you figured out it was Johnny Storm instead of Cap. I got bamboozled when I saw it in theater along with everyone else😅
Btw this movie has 2 major lore mistakes in it. 1st lore mistake there's not a Telepath in Marvel that would willingly jump into Deadpools head due to all the personalities in his head that would turn a Telepaths brains into mush! 2nd lore mistake. Wolverine quickly discovered that there were 2 things his claws couldn't cut. 1st was Hulks skin, 2nd was Juggernaut!
You're right about Juggernaut, but Cassandra Nova is just as insane as Deadpool so I can buy she'd willingly jump into his brain, and I can buy she'd be powerful enough to withstand his insanity.
Wolverines coated claws can cut anything, he just doesn’t have the strength to cut those you mentioned. Same for Colossus. If he were able to put enough strength behind it, he could cut them. But he can’t. It’s like a toddler coming at you with a butter knife. It’s like they say about your jaw muscles, technically strong enough to crush concrete but the teeth and bones aren’t.
@zimvader25 that's where you are wrong! Juggernaut has mystical protections against it from the Cytorakk gem. Juggernaut is impervious to being cut by Wolverines adamantium claws.
@carlgibson285 nope, there's not a Telepath in all of Marvel who'd willingly jump into Deadpools head and those that have tried have failed to get anything out of it as they have no idea which of his personalities to believe!
Gambit is Acadian, which is the accent he has. It's from the east coast of Canada which was formally know as Acadia. The people who say he's Cajun are not wrong either but it is slightly insulting to Acadians who still live in Acadia. But we just brush it off, because we know they don't know why it's insulting. If you're interested in why it is slightly insulting, it's because when the Europeans invaded Acadia, a good portion of Acadians had to travel south and eventually made it to Louisiana, where the locals were too stupid to pronounce our name correctly and started to call us Cajuns instead. Basically just butchered our name and kept calling us it until nobody was calling us Acadians anymore. I'm sorry about the rant, I'm just very prideful to be Acadian and I want others to be as well. Even those who didn't know that this is their origin.

I thought he was as good in this as he was in Logan.
In theaters all the females got pregnant when Hugh lost the top part of his suit, hell even the guys too.
Mostly guys
saying the females instead of the women, is kind of weird bro

Definitely lol
Gambit is a Cajun - that is a Cajun accent (derived from French - not quite the same).
