Hello Nick! I recently started living in Trois-Rivières and I'm a big fan of you and everything cars, trucks, bikes you name it. I hope I can take a drive down to Laval with my girlfriend one day and say hello. Even buy some merch like a shirt to proudly wear and stickers to put on my toolbox. Maybe stroll down there with my old 2004 Freightliner with around 3.2 million Km which I own and work with every day for the past 15 years. I love how you love and respect all things mechanical and work on it the right way. You're a lot like my uncle who showed me a lot about working on mechanical stuff and still does from time to time. He actually restored a 1974 Porsche to near perfection. Keep up the awesome work and I hope to get to meet you one day.
Some work on a car for decades and never quite get it to a point were it can be enjoyed. Taking into consideration what’s been happening the last 18 months Nick is doing a great job! And Roger too! Once it’s back at Nicks I’m sure most of the focus will be on the 500 and will be reassembled with maximum efficiency. Great work as always!
That Charger 500 is absolutely gorgeous! Will love to see the finished product, and Eugene the owner will be well-pleased. Thank you for great video content!
Truly UNBELIEVABLE, what a amazing build, God bless Eugine, God bless Nick's Garage, and Showtime muscle is AMAZING........ Thanks for the content...............
*EUGENE!* I defer to your opinions on your car of course my friend - but what I'm seeing with yours so far is a level of precision that we just aren't used to in Mopar world, not even from the factory! Anyone who's had one of these old Mopars apart knows they weren't exactly perfect from day one (no cars were back then), so it boils down to just how far one wants to take things when restoring one - and it's quite apparent Roger has very high standards indeed. And that COLOR - wow, just wow! *NICK!* I know you've been frustrated about the timeline on the 500. You understand none of us last forever and time is of the essence in getting a car back to customers as a result sometimes, so I know how concerned you must be with Eugene. @moparedtn I totally agree with you, on the level of precision on the 500. They were never perfect from the factory as you well know. The one thing I learned early in life is that Canadian workmen are perfectionists, it has to be perfect or it isn't going out the door. They take great pride in their work, the 500 is proof of that concept. Roger has done an excellent job on the body work and the paint, and I can't wait until I can see the car in person.
Nick, this is quick. My Fairlane is still on the stacker hoist under a dust cover! In primer, stripped shell, no front end, just the diff in. 😄 Since 2014! Next year.... The Charger is gorgeous!
Dr. Nick, the Charger 500 paint job is looking great, I can not wait to see you get it in your shop, and to see you put the motor in from underneath just like on the assembly line, that will be cool, cheers.
That is a mighty fine car🚗you are driving today👍.....WOW eye popping👁 ( Bright Yellow (Super Yellow) Y3) on the Charger 500....Thanks Nick & guy's.....👏👀
What a beautiful paint job and a beautiful color on a beautiful car I love it thank you for sharing and God bless nexx garage and all his crew and George and his family
I have always thought it was more work to put the drivetrain in from the bottom but in the case of the Charger 500, it makes total sense. I hope you like the pickled beets. Here in Pennsylvania they go along with Pickled Eggs. So the beets turn the eggs an almost red color. My wife likes the eggs and I like the beets. We have them for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving Day !!!
That's the same way me & a buddy of mine installed the 451 stroker in his 69 Plymouth road runner . Made things much easier especially dealing with big tube headers & not having to worry about scratching the paint in the engine compartment when installing them from above .
Not sure about that color at this point. I know better to wait until it comes together to make a full assessment. It may look completely different after full assembly. The overall job is painfully slow, but I guess that's what it takes to PROPERLY restore such a unique historical machine. That's one of the draws to this great hobby/profession. Love it Nick...
...I think it's a really cool color, and what makes a car like this stand out at a car show. It's also a very difficult color to hide any flaws so choosing it is a bold choice. Rebuilding an old car like this back better is painfully slow, as any rush seems to guarantee mistakes and dings, but so does letting them sit too long as I've seen "mystery" dings show up and nobody knows how it happened!!! Hope this car is a gem at the car shows, my bet is that this color earns it a lot of trophies!
@@wokewokerman5280 Many don't know that when you do the body filler it needs to sit & shrink before you apply primer & sealer then that needs to sit & shrink & the same with the final paint because if you don't do this all kinds of gremlins will show up . This is museum quality, nicest charger 500 in the world I’d bet !!!👍🖐😎
Love seeing these old classics come to life again, but it's not cheap. Probably ends up costing more than a new car.

Wow, the 500 looks great! Nice job on that. On the drive back.... you guys sure have a lot of large overpasses close together, we don't have anything like that out west.
