When I sent your channel over to my mom…she too was so excited for you as well, as we both cheered you on!
Yours was the ONLY channel that she ever looked forward to, and would immediately send me a text with your link, in case I didn’t get the notification myself!
Being her daughter..it wasn’t always the easiest to please or impress her, but YOU seemed to be the magic boy, as I swear she’d speak about you as if you were her own grandson!

Our point being is that we know it’s not easy to be a kid these days, and yet somehow, you’ve hacked the difficulty and are ruling life the way it SHOULD be lived by a kid your age.

I will start praying now that the lord sends you a ‘match’…someone who can enjoy and help in your life, how you live it, and her happiness will be sharing your interests together!

@missymarie2698 FFAis just for high school, right? If so I'd have to join halfway through my last eligible year. I was in 4-H for a while, that was a pretty solid program.

All I know about them is they have the best networking opportunities.
They also have lots of grants and scholarships.
I always told my kids to chose one; military or uni. (hoping they would’nt chose the latter).
I don’t support higher education in a university sense anymore- it’s been too damaged by politics, but whatever my kids chose- I was going to be supportive.
Tho There IS such a thing as ‘bad exposure’ …and it is way worse than no exposure. We don’t have to look far to find it online even, right?!
Toxic people are not good for ANYbody. And I’m not talking about people who you will hopefully come in contact with who can learn from your own behavior- those are Jesus’ types even!
I’m talking about the ones whom are innately evil, and trying to actively spread that evil.
But irregardless to both- the primary purpose is to meet as many people as possible, and formulate close relationships with a handful from that group.
This world is a different playing field than our parents- it’s not about a degree or even getting into an ivy league-
this one is all about who one knows.
No matter which endeavor you chose…try to meet as many people as you can.
Take stock in who you’d like to maintain relationships with…and then develop those as positively as you can, and make sure to always remain true and loyal to those relationships.
I wish all of our youth were mandated to join our military for just a couple years even, to not only establish the connection with themselves and our country…but so they would also always be invested in it as part of themselves and the entirety of us on the larger scale; worldwide.
The camaraderie is a solid bonus to that!
It’s like no other; a lifelong brotherhood.
Relationships are the key to this world.
I put Jesus first, then family…which includes friends, as some friends are way more loyal than the closest of any family member even.
Keeping that devotion, in THAT order, seems to be more tough than what it seems tho!
Surrounding oneself with those who have likeminded interests and devotions, will create a foundation for yourself, and help you be a great addition to somebody else’s foundation and development as well.
So no matter what you do…getting involved in small groups of every sort, will only strengthen your overall character.
You are a solid young man Al…but with that goodness…the bad will always be trying to infiltrate your world.
Please be cautious.
Tho you are not my kid, we all should be having a vested interest in our youth; ALL of them.
They don’t have the guidance that we should be establishing for them throughout primary education even. And that is so sad.
I know whatever you choose…as long as you work hard and keep the Lord in your life…you are going to the richest guy ever.
I’m not speaking about money in general, as those who figure out that $ is NOT and should not, be the objective to a happy, thriving life…are the ones who understand what this life is truly about and live comfortably within it- and free from being inside the rat race.
If if for whatever reason you can’t get into FFA…maybe they have other groups worth joining that they could refer you to even? Typically at your age, you have the great advantage most others don’t, by just showing interest. Doors will be opened for you right now, since most other kids are living in their virtual worlds.
Just know…that most worthy adults…WANT to help you- IF you ask.
I know I speak for most of us here, to say how excited we are to be able to be part of watching you make your dreams come true! And we’ll all be your cheerleaders here- cheering you on!!!
