I'm black and I didn't realize until watching this video just now how white that town is even though I grew up there lmao. I had a great childhood there - if they had any decent jobs there in my field I'd consider moving back because it's such a wholesome quite place with an "olde tone" vibe and I'd like my daughter to grow up in a place like that - also I miss trees, grass and water lol (I live in southwest Texas now where its mostly desert). I remember Syttende Mai being a big deal - our house was 616 West Main Street which all my friends loved because the parade went right in front of our house so while everyone one else was fighting for space on the sidewalk we had front row seats on our front porch lol. Nice town, nice people.
I love living in Stoughton! It's a great community to live in. One thing I don't think you went into was the Stoughton Fair. That's held every year right around the fourth of July. Funny how I hadn't heard of the coffee break festival before until now! I did know we are home of the coffee break, but did not know there was a festival for it every year!
