To make [note, not having already made] atonement for all who are shown to be entitled to its benefits" (page 456) So --- According to Adventist theology, Christ did only enter the Most Holy place in 1844. As we've seen from the Bible, this is not the case ---She denies atonement was fully finished by Christ at the cross, saying He has to make a "closing work of atonement" from 1844. Allen you need to practice what is known as ecclesiastical separation and get away from these heretics before you get subverted, falling away never happens all at once but with a little tweak here and a little nudge there you’ll be fallen out of the true way before you even realize it like I suspect you may be right now.
Hi Kristine C Spending time together with God, listening to Him and reading His word, asking for relegation and forgiveness for sin, is the best start in the Kingdom of God. Don't look to people to look for ways to please God or follow Him. His way is always fresh and individual, even though His character, and ways never change. That verse speak of the fact that all men have a certain knowledge of God and none is left in total darkness. Jesus is the only way, He is the Way...,John 14:6., only through Him can people to be saved and not ather ways. Paul says that justification by works is wrong, justification is by grace only faith. The fact that some people have not heard the good news will not escape their punishment because there is no other way to escape, there are no two ways. What you have said makes mission unnecessary among those who do not know God. What's the point of telling unbelievers about the Lord Jesus if they will be saved by the light they have at that moment anyway? Why didn't Paul do the same, not tell everyone the good news?
As a Christian in the SDA community, I can say that this was amazing. I have a close friend who isn't Adventist, and we don't see eye to eye on these exact same topics in the discussion today, but we decided to not let those things create separation between us. Eg: Luke 1:6 “And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments AND ordinances of the Lord blameless.” Ephesians 2:15 - by abolishing the law of commandments expressed IN ORDINANCES, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, (Colossians 2:14) "Blotting out the handwriting of ORDINANCES that was AGAINST US, which was CONTRARY to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" (Hebrews 7:15-16) "And it is yet far more clear, that according to the likeness of Melchisedek there arises another priest, Who has not come according to a law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. Carnality was what defeated people in the Old Testament, and prevented them from keeping the law. Because the blood of bulls and goats did not remove the sin from the heart (Hebrews 10:4), people were often stuck in bondage to sin (Romans 7:14-24) Ten Commandments tells us what sin is and are part of the new covenant. They were all there from the beginning of the fall including the Sabbath instituted the seventh day Genesis 2:3. The Ten Commandments DO NOT contain any laws or consequences for breaking the Ten. So hypothetically speaking you wouldn’t need the majority of laws in the Book of the law, if a man would not break them. This is obviously purely hypothetical. No one prior to Abraham kept feasts, holidays, etc. And even not really prior to Moses. They were shadows of Christ and his salvation story. As for the sabbath commandment it is NOT and ordinance and Col 2:14-17 specifically says sabbath days plural , and the entire context is about the ordinances which includes feast days, new moons, offerings including meat and drink, and the special sabbath days that was connected to the feasts and a few other ones like 7th year and 50th year sabbaths of the land. Other areas of the bible groups all of these within the law of Moses which all pointed to Christ’s redemption and symbolic nature. Here are the other areas where they are bunched together, to me it was bunched together for the purpose of being able to parallel scripture with scripture: 1 Chronicles 23:31 - and whenever burnt offerings were offered to the Lord on Sabbaths, new moons, and feast days, according to the number required of them, regularly before the Lord. 2 Chronicles 2:4 - Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God and dedicate it to him for the burning of incense of sweet spices before him, and for the regular arrangement of the showbread, and for burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths and the new moons and the appointed feasts of the Lord our God, as ordained forever for Israel. 2 Chronicles 31:3 - The contribution of the king from his own possessions was for the burnt offerings: the burnt offerings of morning and evening, and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the appointed feasts, as it is written in the Law of the Lord. Nehemiah 10:33 - for the showbread, the regular grain offering, the regular burnt offering, the Sabbaths, the new moons, the appointed feasts, the holy things, and the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God. Ezekiel 45:17 - It shall be the prince's duty to furnish the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the new moons, and the Sabbaths, all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he shall provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to make atonement on behalf of the house of Israel.

I think this really illustrates the dangers of SDA Teachings quite thoroughly though. I’ve seen some people very spun out on Ellen White writings and it’s doing damage to their relationship with GOD and their fellow Christians in many cases. I just think there’s nothing wrong with being a Sabbath keeper but in that same breath there are several other Seventh Day denominations. Matter of fact the Sabbtarian Baptists are an older denomination than Adventists. Food for thought and may GOD Bless you 🙏🏼

@Be Skeptical Of Everything As a former Catholic I used to believe this too. I used to follow traditions and have a form of godliness but denying the power of the Holy Spirit. What I discovered is that God's true church consists of those who love Jesus and keep His testimony which is the Old and New Testament. These are the two witnesses of Christ. We therefore should not hold the view that God's church and His people can be found in only one organized Christian religion. I believe it is a form of pride to do so and is something I also did and had to repent of. The book of Isaiah as well as Revelations say that God will gather his people from all ends of the earth and they will be his flock and He their Sheppard. They shall hear His voice and answer His call. So we should not despise the online ministry that these the men are doing. Only hold them to the light that is found in Holy Scripture. "If they speak not according to this Word or testimony, there is no light in them".... Isa 8:20. Also, don't forget that God calls us all to spread the Gospel message and therefore, works in and through us to do so and to help others. I pray that Him alone be lifted up and be glorified by these two men. God's peace and blessings to you.
@Be Skeptical Of Everything I apologize if I sounded prideful. This is not my intention. I simply believe and hold Scripture to its Holy tenets and encourage others to do so. The body of Christ and His church will know Him and serve Him in Spirit and in Truth. Unfortunately, the Catholic church has moved away from ordinances found in Scripture and honors traditions over the Word. Here are a just few examples below which I found out after many years in the church; 1. Scripture says we are to call no one our spiritual father (Matt 23:9) yet we do this in the Catholic church. 2. Scripture says Jesus died once and for all to save our souls (Heb 9:26), but the church converts the Eucharist to the body and blood of Jesus every time the mass is celebrated and not simply as a token of His death. 3. Scripture says Jesus is now our High Priest ministering in the heavenly sanctuary and we are to pray to Him only and not to the dead, the church offers up prayers and novenas to the saints. 4. Scripture says to keep the seventh day holy but the church transferred the solemnity of this day to Sunday...the first day of the week. This is documented in the Cathechism. There are many other inconsistencies.... If God exalts His Word above anything else, then I don't think any church should attempt to change it, but the Catholic church has changed times and laws to suit an earthly tradition or belief system. As far anyone not being able to preach the Word, scripture actually calls fathers to be "priests" in their own homes and to lead their families in matters of doctrine and faith. So I'm not sure why we are willing to give up all this accountability to a system that does not exalt the Word of God fully. Now, there are hypocrites, weeds and tares in ALL churches (mine included) however, the most important requirement is that it holds true to the Word which is sound doctrine. Hope this helps clarifies my statements earlier and shows why I am unable to support it. All anyone can do today is pray and ask for guidance and study His Word for right living.

The truth is that it was God who inspired the writings of the old and new testament books. The Jews and early apostle scribes wrote as they were moved by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. If anyone worships or follows the Gregorian calendar, then they have already been deceived to worship the IMAGE OF THE BEAST, because it is based on the roman pagan julian calendar and Rome was the 4th BEAST that Daniel warned about, who would think to change Gods RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS AND LAWS (Dan 7:25). According to the Bible, BUYING & SELLING SHOULD NOT OCCUR ON SABBATHS OR ANY HOLY DAY (Neh 10:31). So TIME must be reckoned by Gods calendar of Gen (1:14), not the roman julian nor the papal gregorian calendar, if they want to avoid offending God by BUYING & SELLING WHEN THEY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO. If anyone BUYS OR SELLS ON ANY HOLY DAY, then they offend God, they GRIEVE & QUENCH the Holy Spirit - and are left with the MARK OF THE BEAST. (Holy Spirit is only given to those who OBEY GODS COMMANDMENTS (John 14:15) so it's the the Seal of God and is Gods mark in our HANDS & FOREHEAD as per Deut 6:6-9) Before the Julius Caesar calendar (63BC), the romans had an 8 day week and a 10 month year, so why on earth would anyone follow any IMAGE OF THE BEAST? Gods calendar must clearly have New Moon Days, 6 working days, and Sabbath Days as mentioned in (Eze 46:1). Where are the New Moon Days on the julian or gregorian calendar? So how can we be members of the body of Christ, is we aren't casting these shadows by observing Gods New Moon Days, Sabbaths Days and Feast Days, according to Gods calendar? Colossians 2:16 Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body that casts it belongs to Christ. In Matt. 7 vs 22 Christ was speaking to the devout Sabbath keepers and said to them "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, *have we not PROPHESIED in thy name?* (the Adventist prophecies) and .... *in thy name done many wonderful works?* 23 *And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity* Notice, how these Sabbath keepers tried to make it appear that they loved by Jesus, . Their claim is they did it all for Jesus! The Adventist's love to talk about how the *Spirit of Prophecy, forgetting the thousands of false prophecies they have spoken, and then wonderful their works of the law are* The foolish Sabbath keepers deceived themselves, with their clever but deceitful arguments into thinking, they could *appear to be Christ's by all their lying prophecies* and talk about how they did mighty works by Sabbath Keeping, and false prophecies, while doing horrific iniquity and even fool Christ. What shock in horror it will be in that hour which is coming, when Mt. 7:22 is fulfilled in their ears and it is too late for them. *Christ sorely warned all NOT to follow these false teachers!* What is interesting from Mt. 7:22 is the attitude of those who were condemned for being full of iniquity. What is so telling, is these people were so certain of their place with Christ. And, at their death, they approached Christ with the same egotistic braggadocio manner in which they had presented themselves to the public. Instead of humbly approaching Christ as their Saviour, they immediately being to justify their iniquity by telling Christ how great they are. "We prophesied in your name" say! Which means, aren't we wonderful?! Of course, they prophesied falsely, but claimed it was from and for Christ.

SO if a christian thinks that they are saved by their works, then they are deceived, because they can only be saved by the sacrificial blood of Christ - for all have sinned. With Christ we were given liberty. Men don't have to be circumcised, Christians can eat pork, and you can rest on Sabbath or work. But whatever you do in word and deed do it ALL for the glory of God, be fully convinced in your mind that the choice you're making is out of humility and with love for God, and He will hear us and give us His account of our actions after we die.

Allen you have been very generous in giving Justin more than enough time in explaining his side. I used to be a SDA. The SDA organization has had over 170 years to develop their argument to support their beliefs. This is why Justin is so good with it. They are very good at it by quoting all the bible verses and explaining their interpretation thoroughly. If you don't know your bible you will think they are right. It is very very hard to convince SDAs because they have established their teaching so well over the last 170years that long it is very hard to view things without the adventist lens. It has taken me a long time to not see things with the adventist lens over my eyes. The enemy distorts truth in a very subtle way that it deceives the very elect so they can't see it. In this discussion, the subtleness is that Jesus did not compete a finished work and obeying the Law is essential to salvation. This subtly takes away what Christ achieved for us. Reading Galatians finally helped the scales fall from my eyes. I believe that Saturday is the Sabbath but I don't believe that keeping the Sabbath will decide your salvation which is what they do teach. Also it is concerning that a 'prophet' will say that if they say something that isn't quite right in your eyes then put it aside? Or toss it out? Did the other apostles say that about their teaching? Prophets are supposed to impart all truth, not part truth. Also SDAs like you to learn from them but are not open minded to learn from others because they believe they already have the real truth and are the remnant church and all other churches are wrong. I believe we are saved by grace and no one can keep the commandments perfectly which is why Jesus had to die for us and the law is written on our hearts. Also the Law is not just ten precepts. There were a lot more involved. Having said that SDAs are faithful and love the Lord. Their obedience comes from a place of their love for the Lord. They are making their christian walk harder as Jesus died to set us free from bondage. When I was an SDA I still felt that degree of bondage over my life because you can't go to the shops or to a party on the Sabbath (because it is God's Holy day) and you can't eat unclean foods. To this day I still eat mostly vegetarian and if pork or crustaceans pass my lips (very rarely mind you) I feel that I shouldn't eat it. It seems to be a spirit of bondage. Also their church service does teach from the bible but refers to Ellen White's writings often. Note that Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormans also have their beginnings from William Miller movement. Finally I wanted to mention that SDAs say they honor God as their creator by keeping the Sabbath day. Is this to say that non SDAs don't honour God as their creator? God forbid, of course we christians love and view God as the creator of all things.

When the Holy Spirit is in your heart and the love ❤ of God then obeying his Word is should not be bondage. It should bring joy. There are imperfect and judgemental people in all churches coming from someone who has not been Adventist my entire life. The focus should be on Jesus and not people.
@@paulachinn6306 I do agree with you absolutely and the Holy Spirit does move within His church as a whole and I agree as a Christian we do need to keep an eye on Jesus solely. When I wrote my first response my heart was full of wanting to explain the teaching I felt was not right in the SDA church because I no longer feel guilt for not being a SDA and I have learned from the bible a lot more that SDAs don’t teach or teach with their interpretation. I know the Holy Spirit still abides with me. Within each born again believer the words ‘I know that I know that I know that He lives within me’ rings true. As humans we segregate and name our church but God doesn’t. He sees us as a whole , His church, drawing all people with with His Spirit. Yes I go to Sunday worship . I also frequent a Shabbat Jewish celebration Friday evenings to experience a bit of the Jewish way run by Messianic Jews who are born again and occasionally I do attend an SDA church. Praise God He has His people everywhere and the ‘Adventist’ lens is gone. God started His church after Jesus left us and the disciples including Paul went out into the world to spread the gospel not in 1844.
I praise God for this interview! While we all may have different understandings of scripture, the character of Christ was exhibited here and that’s awesome. But my biggest joy however is that the truth about the coming Sunday law mandate is being more and more broadcasted. God has opened the door for those who never heard these truths to hear it and when it happens they will believe. If God has not convicted you of obedience in a certain area, sabbath, your pride, your stealing, anything then he winks at your ignorance and you are not held accountable but he’s bringing the truth out now because we are on the verge of this reality and he wants his people to know. If the Holy Spirit convicts you of this truth don’t harden your heart. He’s coming soon but not before the test. Pray, fast, repent, surrender and he will help you be strong for him during this time. No Adventist ever shared the gospel with you. Being born again is a foreign concept to Adventist demonic cult members. Adventists have their own gospel known as The Three Angels Message which they are on a mission to tell the world. Adventists are not Christians
I am 73 years old and was raised in an SDA home. Went to SDA schools through my sophomore year in college. Bible classes were required every year in some form. I can tell you that in those classes Ellen White was at the forefront of all the doctrinal teaching that I received. Her books were some of my textbooks and the school library was full of all her books. We did read from the Bible of course but it didn’t seem to carry as much weight as her writings imho. I left the SDA church in 1965 after reading a NKJV Bible.......specifically the book of Romans. I mean no disrespect to SDAs and am just sharing my experience with their religion.
if you left because you read the book of Romans then you have misread Romans----I read the book many times but is only deepened my faith in Christ and the SDA church - so, you have greatly misunderstood Romans---you probably ended up rejecting the Sabbath - but kept the other 9.

I’m so happy this livestream happened. A real Adventist who knew what they were talking about spoke on behalf of the belief. @@mykzalot yes. I grew up in the sda church from about age 6-13 (my parent stopped going to church around that time) . When I turned 20 That was the year I was born again after hearing the gospel clearly for the first time. I received the Holy Spirit by the grace of God and was able to discern what the Bible says from what I was taught growing up. I had many teachers help me along the way, but ultimately the Holy Spirit and the word of God lead me to believe or reject what I was taught by anyone.

Thank you for this Jason. It is difficult in such a short timeframe to communicate the complexity that is competing theological systems. There are so many layered differences that require finessing in order to understand how and why someone comes to a conclusion. For example, the simple fact that Allen is Calvinist in orientation while Adventism leans more Armenian leads to entirely separate presuppositions on whole hosts of things that aren't even unique to Adventism!
Exactly. We should keep in mind that it is sometimes difficult to give a simple answer to some questions because it might not be satisfactory or could be misunderstood. Can anyone explain in 20 minutes topics like slavery in the Bible or God's commandment to king Saul to destroy all Amalekites? How satisfactory that explanation would be to an unbeliever? Could it be interpreted as dancing around and trying to defend indefensible? It is nice to see Christian love, respect, patience, and understanding between Christians of different denominations. I think Allen and Justin have demonstrated that in this video. Good job boys!

I understand by experience the concept of having to recognise that different people come from different backgrounds, contexts and worldviews, and that we need to consider this in our conversations with them. God says the 7th day will be the anniversary to creation, so to pick any day we want will not be a blessed day nor will it be the sabbath. Just as, not any date will pass as my anniversary with my wife or my birthday. But…the Holy Spirit will impress the importance of this topic. No need to be concerned if the Lord has not opened your eyes on this. Jesus will lead His people and call us together.

if you look to Allen Parr to interpret scripture properly for you then you are in a bad place as he does not know his bible - he is just another preacher on line with an opinion that the ignorant cannot refute...he rejects tithing - he rejects the 7th day sabbath - he believes God puts his children in hell forever - hell is annihilation so the consequences are eternal. etc.

When i was younger i went on a search for the truth - to many different churches and investigated what they believe. That includes Eastern religions and the occult. The only religion I could find which followed the Bible completely are the SDA's. I used the King James Bible as my only guide. I did not even hear of Ellen White until I had been in Adventism for quite some time and she always pointed to the Bible. God bless and may you be led to the truth ❤

In Romans 8 Paul speaks of living by the law of life! that is in Christ Jesus that has delivered from the law of sin & death so if we consider the situation one law supersedes the other for example . When you decide to travel on a overseas trop by aircraft you take it by faith that once the plane goes down the runway it will eventually take off you have come to believe in the law of air dynamics that enables the plane to take off and fly and that is what happens . You trust in the ability of the plane and the pilot flying . so by faith I believe in the Holy Spirit that Paul clearly was under when he wrote both verses . Paul was dealt with by the very Lord of creation himself when he had embarked of his journey to Damascus where the Lord intervened . All through Paul's life he suffered for the Gospel after he was saved , the truth was wrought into his being and became his person not just a Mear teaching to pass on we all need to experience it in a deep and life changing way. It is the Divine attributes that are in Christ that are lived out in the humanity of the person of Jesus the first God-man if we will employ those God-man virtues in our living then we can live out His life to express Him in our daily living if we fail and sin we have Christ the reality of the sin offering as our saviour where we can confess our sins and be forgiven.

In Old Testament times, Sabbath was a day to treat in a special way. But under the New Covenant, the fulfilled meaning of it's symbolism of "rest" - refers to the rest of heart and mind that comes as a result of being saved through repentance and accepting Jesus as Savior, I believe.
Jesus himself went to the synagogue on Saturday for sabbath. God from the beginning said to keep his day holy. Where in the bible does it say that Jesus tells us to make the 3rd day he rose to change sabboth?

Allen, you did AWESOME. I'm sure you didn't agree with most of what he said, but you kept it very respectful, and I commend you on that. We all have to remember to be willing to have open dialog, even with those that may disagree. We have to remember that God's word says " He takes no pleasure in those that perish, and wishes that all be saved. What you did is used that opportunity to minister to him at the same time. Something tells me that he doesn't even believe in everything that his religion believes, but it seems like he was just trying to make sure he doesn't let his superiors down. I hope the holy spirit convicts him, and makes him want to know more of what you believe, and questions everything that he was taught. I was looking forward to this as my daughter is dating a SDA and now she has switched to a SDA... but I must admit I feel Justin didnt believe the writings of Mrs. White or would not give a straight answer when her writings CLEARLY said certain claims. Her claims completely say another religion then what he is saying he believes. And that is what my problem is with my daughters boyfriends family ( GREAT FAMILY) but they will NEVER give me a straight answer when clearly their prophtess White is very clear. So this did not help me in anyway...still not getting clear answers.

My daughter boyfriends family has sent me messages on " Mark of the Beast"... now that I have heard the truth according to the SDA I am know making a decision to worship on Sunday therefore choosing wrong and will receive the mark. I have watched MANY services and actually gone to their church to educate myself. Again WONDERFUL Family and church. But I strongly disagree. @@cevans3505 In my opinion,one of the greatest pitfalls of the SDA community is using Ellen's teachings to interpret the Bible,but that's the job the Holy Spirit. Even when you quote a scripture say for example, For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Romans 10:4 NKJV the SDA'S will argue using Ellen's writing and will tell you paul is talking about the ceremonial law and the like and the 10 commandments (which is a part of the law) still apply.
Ellen G White seems to disagree heavily with Adventism. If she is a prophetess, then she can't be wrong if she's prophesying for God. So...why would someone stay an Adventist if they disagree with. (Justin clearly disagrees).

This was a great conversation. As someone who aligns much more on these issues with Allen, I felt that Justin did a great job communicating the broader beliefs of modern Adventists. I don't think he quite addressed the issues with Ellen White's statements to a degree where I would not feel anymore concerns. But, I think this is due to the fact that he has grown up an adventist and that's all he has known. It's hard for both sides to truly see each other's point of view when you haven't lived it.

Thank you for a respectful and interesting discussion. As an SDA I agree with what Justin says, but felt it was a bit watered down at first. It is true that we are judged on those things that the Holy Spirit convicts us, but by no means does this lessen the Sabbath as a commandment or that the breaking of this commandment is sin. Fortunately, Jesus died to save us as sinners, which is why many Sunday worshippers will be saved - even those keeping the Seventh Day, do so poorly. We can never be saved through our own righteous efforts, but we can be lost through deliberate sin (Hebrews 10:26-27). I believe there is one aspect in each of our lives that God is working to improve, but one that we are reluctant to change. Tony Evans is very good, too. There's more. If your heart is toward God, you'll know the right ones when you hear them, if God is guiding you. Most listen to people without God showing them and/or follow what they learned from young. God isn't even involved in their life unto salvation.
The bible answers all these questions concerning the word. I wish people took how serious salvation is. Yes you may not agree with what the word is saying because you're used to tradition but it doesn't make the word any less true. Get in yall word yall. I pray that we all stand on the truth of what we believe in and to my adventist family this is an example of why we need to study our word and stand on it and not back down for friendships. I also want to say it's not about "religion or denomination" it's about God and obeying his word. I think we often forget as Christians that we don't belong to this world and we need not to focus on what this world will think of us.

Foundationally, yes, the Bible does answer these questions. Regarding EGW, (for me) that takes some discussion as people will misapply/misrepresent her view/writings. Or just flat out may not know what she's saying and make assumptions. The main error here is isolating one statement here and there. Most objectors to her writings often pick one statement and blow it out of proportion.

Secondly, the last sentence regarding salvation is not the message she's sending here. And yes, most who argue against her writings believe/feel that she places herself equal with scripture or, they flat out misunderstand what she's communicating. In that section of her writings, she says nothing of her placing her writings "equal" to scripture. There are a number of quotes where she says the exact opposite. She's talking about herself her. Read the last sentence again (and would place us in that company who have departed....). It is clear that she is confident in what she experienced for herself. It is clear that she feels a responsibility to be a witness of what she's experienced. For her, denying what she experienced is not an option. That's what she's saying.
One of my favorite things about the Bible is the fact that there’s no denominations in it. Just ONE church authored and created by the One God and Savior Christ Jesus!
As a Protestant, I'm coming to believe that in fact, the Sabbath is Friday at sunset to Saturday at sunset, and we ARE to honor the sabbath as our day of rest to keep it holy as God requires in the 10 commandments. For some reason, I believe that we have conveniently ignored the sabbath and come up with our own ideas which, no matter how we spin it, seem to be contrary to what the Bible teaches concerning the sabbath. However, the first Christians did also meet on the first day of the week. Is there room to honor the sabbath rest AND also worship on Sunday? Another disturbing thing to me is when Evangelical Christians argue that "the day does not matter". It sounds a bit haughty, perhaps because we are busy justifying what we do, as if we couldn't be wrong in this matter. That is where we must simply become open to the word of God, becoming sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and being willing to study, pray, and RECONSIDER our positon! Ellen G. White may be off kilter as many things were seen differently 120 yrs ago, and have been altered toward a more correct biblical view (as it sounds like she herself seemed to exhort us to cast off her writings if they don't agree with scripture). Martin Luther and many great men and women of our faith also had serious flaws- such as antisemitism, in Luther's case. We don't dismiss the founders because of these even very serious flaws. I am so impressed that these two godly men can discuss so openly and respectfully, important considerations of Christianity. Thank you and I pray for you both!
While I agree all of scripture is important, not all scripture is significant to salvation. If individual Christians honor the Sabbath by setting aside one day a week to rest and honor God, the particular day is not SIGNIFICANT. Imagine standing before the Lord on judgement day, and the Lord says, " You will not enter the kingdom because you kept the Sabboth on Sunday, instead of Saturday." I am also weary of the preachers calling certain denominations a "cult." It's not helpful. Arguments should be about scriptural truth. Ad hominem arguments never advance truth and cause people to close their minds. We all agree that being called a cult member, whether true or not, causes offense. It's a derisive term. Whether intended or not, the label causes offense, and causes a defensive response.

As a bibllical Christ-follower, I appreciate the SDA correct view on end times views and Sabbath. Might be important to know that the Catholic Church said it was her 'mark' of authority to change the Sabbath to the first day of the week.
Oh my goodness. I was raised sda. I got to church on Sunday now. Because we find rest and fellowship at the church and Jesus more. It has been made clear to me that since I have gone and know the true sabbath before, I will most likely burn in hell and not be saved. My kids are worried. The fact that Justin didn’t know much about her until 17, is shocking. That is all the church preaches. I’ve been to more than 15 and every main position is “thank goodness we worship in the correct day and here is why.”
The Adventist Church followed Ellen G. @@JustinKhoe Before coming to Christ by faith been through the “Spectrum of Religion” so I have background education on the belief systems of world religions. I use my knowledge for people to lead them to Jesus Christ in a non-judgmental and condemning way. Because we always have to be filled with the Holy Spirit(Ephesians 5:18) and led by Him(Galatians 5:16-26) if not we will get into the flesh.
I believe there has been an update to the website recently. However, what's more confusing (for me anyway) is the misapplication of her writings. Secondly, many do not know what Justin said today regarding EGW's response to her own writings as she (on many occasions) pointed to the Bible. The representation of her on the website needs to be clear as possible - I believe we can agree there. But I would not be in favor of taking it down completely.
Everything that was posted. Why do you think it was featured. Justin still didn’t really answer why did she write what she wrote. I feel sad that they don’t feature only what God says, it would be nice to see Him featured not Ellen. At the end of the day people will either be inspired by what they read on the website or they will turn away. It’s just sad because her writings are confusing people to think that the religion is a cult and as a sister in Christ, I would not wish for people to think that. With everything happening in the world, shouldn’t the only message be that the only way to eternity is through Jesus. Keep it as simple as Jesus made it. God bless.

I was a SDA for over 60 years. Depending on which relative I speak to I was a sixth or seventh generation SDA. I found the SDA defender to be soft on his convictions. My experience was more in line with your representation of SDA’s. I have taken the last 15 years attempting to un-learn a life time of beliefs. Thank you for your research and kindness.
My experience as well I am now Roman Catholic and have been for the last 25 years my father is still SDA and pray for him every day that he will wake up. Also what this guy is saying is definitely not correct I also went to seven day Adventist school from preschool to seventh grade and I knew a lot about Ellen G white and her teachings so the fact that he didn’t know much about her is very surprising.

When I was involved with Adventism the Roman Catholic Church was the antichrist and the Catholic changing of the Holy Day from the seventh-day to Sunday is putting man's ideas over a clear commandment from God. That in the end times those who keep Sunday will be lost and Sunday keepers will receive the mark of the beast. I don't keep any day now personally and indeed to me so much of the unique doctrine of the SDA church isn't clear enough in the Bible to convert a Baptist or Presbyterian etc but one has to go to a book by Mrs. White. Here's what I think from what I recently read in Romans: if you are convicted of something, for example, not eating meat, then do it. Doesn't mean everyone is wrong for eating meat, it just means it's a personal conviction of yours in regards to your faith and your relationship with God. I think the same goes here for keeping the Sabbath, if you are convicted, then do it. But I don't think it has a definitive effect on your salvation, just like abstaining from eating meat.

That was so the Jews could find no fault in Him, but they did anyway. He actually showed them David did not keep the Sabbath, in that, giving corn to his men, when explaining why his disciples picked and ate..was it corn...on the Sabbath. So SDAs are not really keeping the Sabbath, the Bible says no one can keep the law. Jesus fulfilled the law, so we are free to obey God in Spirit and in truth. We can only keep His commandments when He abides in us by His Holy Spirit.
As a former adventist I have to say that Justin is projecting adventist beliefs through rose tinted lenses, what he believes and what adventism is actually about are poles apart, I can assure you of that! All the concerns that Allen highlighted regarding SDA beliefs and Ellen G White's writings are completely justified!

As a current member, Justin's response is Jesus-Centered as it should be. Secondly, he clearly states that everyone's experience within Adventism is not the same and there have been instances where people have misrepresented Jesus and EGW. The concerns that Allen highlights are valid, yes, but (for me) his concerns are the result of being misinformed or uninitiated at the onset.

Exodus 8 v. 1 “Go unto Pharaoh and say unto him, ‘Thus saith the Lord: Let My people go, that they may worship Me.” In Exodus 20 God reminds His people how He wants to be worshipped including by keeping the Sabbath commandment. Further on in Exodus 31 v. 15-17 “Six days may work be done, but on the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whosoever doeth any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel for ever; for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’” In case you are wondering who are the true Israelite of today, the Apostle Paul in the book of Romans clarified this point: “Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." Galatians 3:7. "For they are not all Israel which are of Israel; neither because they are the seed of Abraham are they all children… but the children of promise are counted for the seed." Romans 9:6-8.”

The Sabbath actually began as a memorial of God's creation before there was sin on Earth, this is recorded in Genesis 2 v. 1: "Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day He rested from all His work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done." Take note that Adam & Eve were created on the sixth day and basically all they did was to rest (so to speak) and celebrate God's creation on the Sabbath which was the seventh day. Later on Adam & Eve disobeyed God and so sin entered the world and interrupted God's beautiful world. Suppose Adam & Eve had not messed up - we would still ALL be keeping the Sabbath without any question or controversy! The Good News of the Christian Gospel as we know it is all about the redemption of humankind from sin with a single end objective: restoration of the Eden life we lost of God's original design of a world free from sin. That is why the Bible is clear that the Sabbath as originally intended will be part of this new heavens and earth that God will recreate, Isaiah 66 v. 22-23 says: “As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure. From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord. The above introduction brings us to the verse in Mark 2 v. 27 "Then Jesus said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." The issue at play begins in Mark 2 v. 23 "One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grain fields, and as his disciples walked along, they began to pick some heads of grain. The Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?” Take note that the Pharisees accused Jesus that He was breaking the Sabbath! It's common knowledge that the Pharisees and religious leaders of Jesus' time had twisted God's word and added to it unnecessary nonsense which made the worship of God on the Sabbath to become a burden instead of a celebration of God's love. This point was clearly clarified in the narrative in Luke 14 v. 1 - 5: "One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched. There in front of Jesus was a man suffering from abnormal swelling of his body. Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?” But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, Jesus healed him and sent him on his way. Then Jesus asked them, “If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?” And they had nothing to say." In the above verses Jesus clearly showed that good works are permitted on the Sabbath that is why He taught, healed and did many charitable activities on the Sabbath. Therefore the Sabbath was made for humankind to do good to our fellow human beings and God's creation. This is in keeping with God's own revealed word in Isaiah 58 v. 13-14: “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken." In other words, we eat to live, we don't live to eat - similarly the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath! Jesus corrected the twisted understanding about the Sabbath of the Pharisees and "experts in the law" since Jesus Himself instituted the Sabbath in Eden since He created everything on this Earth (John 1 v. 3 "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.") That is why Jesus concluded that passage in Mark 2 with the words in verse 28: "Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath." It's not surprising that John in the book of Revelation 1 v. 10 could say "On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,..." The Lord's Day is the Sabbath. Now think of this theoretical perspective. God was so particular about the Sabbath in the Old Testament days such that those among His people who broke it were sentenced to death or removed from the community per Exodus 31 v. 14 "You must keep the Sabbath day, for it is a holy day for you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death; anyone who works on that day will be cut off from the community." Now when Jesus comes back again for the Second time what will happen to the unfortunate people from the Old Testament days whose singular punishment might have been a death sentence for desecrating the Sabbath? Would they be resurrected and go to Heaven, if not, would they perish forever for just breaking the Sabbath? Personally I would rather err on the side of John 14 v. 15 "“If you love me, you will keep my commandments." Exodus 31 v. 16 - 17 "The Israelites must keep the Sabbath, celebrating it as a permanent covenant for the generations to come. It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, but on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ Ezekiel 20 v. 19-20 "I am the LORD your God; walk in My statutes, keep My ordinances, and practice them. Keep My Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us, so that you may know that I am the LORD your God." If God changeth not, I'm sure His permanent covenant remains for the spiritual Israel of God of Galatians 3 v.7 and Romans 9 v. 6-8: “Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." .... "For they are not all Israel which are of Israel; neither because they are the seed of Abraham are they all children… but the children of promise are counted for the seed."

@@porfiriojohn5276 God made laws called the 10 commandments. The bible stays consistent and never does away with them. It is not by works alone not by faith alone, they go in hand in hand. You must apply both. You don't cherry pick what part of the bible you want to follow all of it. As it states if you break one commandment you break all commandments. I'm not telling you to focus on Ellen White. Regardless of what denomination you want to call yourself, it is your obligation to read the bible and not hang on to man's word. Don't get hung up on traditions and really study. The grace that God gives is to save you from your ignorance, once you know better it is a sin to turn a blind eye. You should be doing it all out of love, once it's just a routine or from fear usually you become no different from the Pharisees. It will not be only ppl from SDA to be saved. The denomination isn't what's important, it's a lable to be recognized by society. What matters is how and what you do as a follower of Christ, hence the word Christian. Trust that God is just. God made it very clear if you love me then keep my commandments. The 4th commandment is an example of that. It is to keep the Sabbath holy. Jesus Christ was and is a gift, but it doesn't mean you can do what you want claim a title and you will always be saved. God tells you that you can loose your salvation but can earn it back. I hope this answered a few things. If I missed something it's not on purpose. If you want to look into something's, School for Prophets is a good channel to start. We strongly encourage education, because when you know better than you do better. I would like all of us to prosper and make it in the book of life. If I can make a suggestion you should make yet another follow up video in a Bible study format and each of you present your beliefs from a "Thus saith the Lord" perspective. Meaning- I would like to know what the Bible teaches vs what clergy and pastors say. It's okay to listen to your pastors however at the end of the day all of the decisions we make regarding our belief system should strictly come from the Word of God (all of the Word of God, not New or Old but all). 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Adventists have given over full prophetic authority to a now deceased woman called Ellen G White. Listen to their words. "This gift is an identifying mark of the remnant church and we believe it was manifested in the ministry of Ellen G. White." and "Her writings speak with prophetic authority and provide comfort, guidance, instruction, and correction to the church." They have found no error in her writings so even after death they take instructions from her. Anyone see a Problem with that?

Wat you said it's wrong. All those people will be judged by the light they received and not saved, Romans 2: 14-16. That verse speak of the fact that all men have a certain knowledge of God and none is left in total darkness. Jesus is the only way, He is the Way...,John 14:6., only through Him can people to be saved and not ather ways. That is why those people need to hear about the Lord Jesus Christ and belive în Him in order to be saved, otherwise they will suffer eternal punishment in hell, and you must get involved and bring them the good news of you do not want them to perish.

In this passage Paul talks about the fact that all people are sinners and can not be justified by deeds. Paul says that justification by works is wrong, justification is by grace only faith. The fact that some people have not heard the good news will not escape their punishment because there is no other way to escape, there are no two ways. What you have said makes mission unnecessary among those who do not know God. What's the point of telling unbelievers about the Lord Jesus if they will be saved by the light they have at that moment anyway? Why didn't Paul do the same, not tell everyone the good news?
As a Christian in the SDA community, I can say that this was amazing. I have a close friend who isn't Adventist, and we don't see eye to eye on these exact same topics in the discussion today, but we decided to not let those things create separation between us. I believe this is the model for those who claim to follow Christ. Thanks for this video!

Now if we meditate on these scriptures, we can see what Jesus nailed to the cross, and what was contrary to him;
(Ephesians 2:15) "the law of commandments contained in ordinances;"
(Colossians 2:14) "the handwriting of ordinances;"
(Hebrews 7:16) "the law of a fleshly commandment;"
(Hebrews 9:10) "carnal ordinances;"
What Jesus abolished was carnal (or fleshly) commandments and ordinances, and hand written ordinances. Carnality was what defeated people in the Old Testament, and prevented them from keeping the law. Because the blood of bulls and goats did not remove the sin from the heart (Hebrews 10:4), people were often stuck in bondage to sin (Romans 7:14-24)
Ten Commandments tells us what sin is and are part of the new covenant. They were all there from the beginning of the fall including the Sabbath instituted the seventh day Genesis 2:3.
The Ten Commandments DO NOT contain any laws or consequences for breaking the Ten. So hypothetically speaking you wouldn’t need the majority of laws in the Book of the law, if a man would not break them. This is obviously purely hypothetical. No one prior to Abraham kept feasts, holidays, etc. And even not really prior to Moses. They were shadows of Christ and his salvation story.
As for the sabbath commandment it is NOT and ordinance and Col 2:14-17 specifically says sabbath days plural , and the entire context is about the ordinances which includes feast days, new moons, offerings including meat and drink, and the special sabbath days that was connected to the feasts and a few other ones like 7th year and 50th year sabbaths of the land.
Other areas of the bible groups all of these within the law of Moses which all pointed to Christ’s redemption and symbolic nature.
Here are the other areas where they are bunched together, to me it was bunched together for the purpose of being able to parallel scripture with scripture:
1 Chronicles 23:31
- and whenever burnt offerings were offered to the Lord on Sabbaths, new moons, and feast days, according to the number required of them, regularly before the Lord.
2 Chronicles 2:4
- Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God and dedicate it to him for the burning of incense of sweet spices before him, and for the regular arrangement of the showbread, and for burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths and the new moons and the appointed feasts of the Lord our God, as ordained forever for Israel.
2 Chronicles 31:3
- The contribution of the king from his own possessions was for the burnt offerings: the burnt offerings of morning and evening, and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the appointed feasts, as it is written in the Law of the Lord.
Nehemiah 10:33
- for the showbread, the regular grain offering, the regular burnt offering, the Sabbaths, the new moons, the appointed feasts, the holy things, and the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.
Ezekiel 45:17
- It shall be the prince's duty to furnish the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the new moons, and the Sabbaths, all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he shall provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to make atonement on behalf of the house of Israel.

I think this really illustrates the dangers of SDA Teachings quite thoroughly though. I’ve seen some people very spun out on Ellen White writings and it’s doing damage to their relationship with GOD and their fellow Christians in many cases. I just think there’s nothing wrong with being a Sabbath keeper but in that same breath there are several other Seventh Day denominations. @Be Skeptical Of Everything As a former Catholic I used to believe this too. I used to follow traditions and have a form of godliness but denying the power of the Holy Spirit. What I discovered is that God's true church consists of those who love Jesus and keep His testimony which is the Old and New Testament. These are the two witnesses of Christ. We therefore should not hold the view that God's church and His people can be found in only one organized Christian religion. I believe it is a form of pride to do so and is something I also did and had to repent of. The book of Isaiah as well as Revelations say that God will gather his people from all ends of the earth and they will be his flock and He their Sheppard. They shall hear His voice and answer His call. So we should not despise the online ministry that these the men are doing. Only hold them to the light that is found in Holy Scripture. "If they speak not according to this Word or testimony, there is no light in them".... Isa 8:20.
Also, don't forget that God calls us all to spread the Gospel message and therefore, works in and through us to do so and to help others. I pray that Him alone be lifted up and be glorified by these two men.

@Be Skeptical Of Everything I apologize if I sounded prideful. This is not my intention. I simply believe and hold Scripture to its Holy tenets and encourage others to do so. The body of Christ and His church will know Him and serve Him in Spirit and in Truth. Unfortunately, the Catholic church has moved away from ordinances found in Scripture and honors traditions over the Word.
Here are a just few examples below which I found out after many years in the church;
1. Scripture says we are to call no one our spiritual father (Matt 23:9) yet we do this in the Catholic church.
2. Scripture says Jesus died once and for all to save our souls (Heb 9:26), but the church converts the Eucharist to the body and blood of Jesus every time the mass is celebrated and not simply as a token of His death.
3. Scripture says Jesus is now our High Priest ministering in the heavenly sanctuary and we are to pray to Him only and not to the dead, the church offers up prayers and novenas to the saints.
4. Scripture says to keep the seventh day holy but the church transferred the solemnity of this day to Sunday...the first day of the week. This is documented in the Cathechism. There are many other inconsistencies....
If God exalts His Word above anything else, then I don't think any church should attempt to change it, but the Catholic church has changed times and laws to suit an earthly tradition or belief system.
As far anyone not being able to preach the Word, scripture actually calls fathers to be "priests" in their own homes and to lead their families in matters of doctrine and faith. So I'm not sure why we are willing to give up all this accountability to a system that does not exalt the Word of God fully.
Now, there are hypocrites, weeds and tares in ALL churches (mine included) however, the most important requirement is that it holds true to the Word which is sound doctrine.
Hope this helps clarifies my statements earlier and shows why I am unable to support it. All anyone can do today is pray and ask for guidance and study His Word for right living.

In Matt. 7 vs 22 Christ was speaking to the devout Sabbath keepers and said to them "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, *have we not PROPHESIED in thy name?* (the Adventist prophecies) and .... *in thy name done many wonderful works?* 23 *And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity*
Notice, how these Sabbath keepers tried to make it appear that they loved by Jesus, . Their claim is they did it all for Jesus! The Adventist's love to talk about how the *Spirit of Prophecy, forgetting the thousands of false prophecies they have spoken, and then wonderful their works of the law are*
The foolish Sabbath keepers deceived themselves, with their clever but deceitful arguments into thinking, they could *appear to be Christ's by all their lying prophecies* and talk about how they did mighty works by Sabbath Keeping, and false prophecies, while doing horrific iniquity and even fool Christ. What shock in horror it will be in that hour which is coming, when Mt. 7:22 is fulfilled in their ears and it is too late for them.
*Christ sorely warned all NOT to follow these false teachers!*
What is interesting from Mt. 7:22 is the attitude of those who were condemned for being full of iniquity. What is so telling, is these people were so certain of their place with Christ. And, at their death, they approached Christ with the same egotistic braggadocio manner in which they had presented themselves to the public. Instead of humbly approaching Christ as their Saviour, they immediately being to justify their iniquity by telling Christ how great they are. "We prophesied in your name" say! Which means, aren't we wonderful?! Of course, they prophesied falsely, but claimed it was from and for Christ.
@@EricSaavy - Actually Robt, SIN is defined by breaking Gods Commandments, and Jesus already said that if we want to enter life to KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS, then He pointed the rich young ruler back to Exodus 20. Among those Commandments is keeping Gods Sabbath Day Holy. Preaching Sabbath is no different to preaching Murder, Adultery, Dishonesty, etc... SO if a christian thinks that they are saved by their works, then they are deceived, because they can only be saved by the sacrificial blood of Christ - for all have sinned. You may esteem one day [Sabbath] better than another, but that doesn't make you more or less superior. Sabbath is a gift, and whether you take the day off or work a second job on weekends, do either one to the glory of God and to worship Him. Man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. If a man has never worked on a Sabbath day in his life but spent the time watching porn and fighting with his family, God isn't happier with him than the man who worked every Sabbath and shows the love of Christ to those around him each time. If two Godly men make different choices (one works the sabbath and the other abstains on the sabbath), and both are worshiping and showing the love of God, God will be pleased with both. With Christ we were given liberty. Men don't have to be circumcised, Christians can eat pork, and you can rest on Sabbath or work. But whatever you do in word and deed do it ALL for the glory of God, be fully convinced in your mind that the choice you're making is out of humility and with love for God, and He will hear us and give us His account of our actions after we die.

Allen you have been very generous in giving Justin more than enough time in explaining his side. I used to be a SDA. The SDA organization has had over 170 years to develop their argument to support their beliefs. This is why Justin is so good with it. They are very good at it by quoting all the bible verses and explaining their interpretation thoroughly. If you don't know your bible you will think they are right. It is very very hard to convince SDAs because they have established their teaching so well over the last 170years that long it is very hard to view things without the adventist lens. It has taken me a long time to not see things with the adventist lens over my eyes. The enemy distorts truth in a very subtle way that it deceives the very elect so they can't see it. In this discussion, the subtleness is that Jesus did not compete a finished work and obeying the Law is essential to salvation. This subtly takes away what Christ achieved for us. Reading Galatians finally helped the scales fall from my eyes. I believe that Saturday is the Sabbath but I don't believe that keeping the Sabbath will decide your salvation which is what they do teach. Also it is concerning that a 'prophet' will say that if they say something that isn't quite right in your eyes then put it aside? Or toss it out? Did the other apostles say that about their teaching? Prophets are supposed to impart all truth, not part truth. Also SDAs like you to learn from them but are not open minded to learn from others because they believe they already have the real truth and are the remnant church and all other churches are wrong. I believe we are saved by grace and no one can keep the commandments perfectly which is why Jesus had to die for us and the law is written on our hearts. Also the Law is not just ten precepts. There were a lot more involved. Having said that SDAs are faithful and love the Lord. Their obedience comes from a place of their love for the Lord. They are making their christian walk harder as Jesus died to set us free from bondage. When I was an SDA I still felt that degree of bondage over my life because you can't go to the shops or to a party on the Sabbath (because it is God's Holy day) and you can't eat unclean foods. To this day I still eat mostly vegetarian and if pork or crustaceans pass my lips (very rarely mind you) I feel that I shouldn't eat it. It seems to be a spirit of bondage. Also their church service does teach from the bible but refers to Ellen White's writings often. Note that Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormans also have their beginnings from William Miller movement. Finally I wanted to mention that SDAs say they honor God as their creator by keeping the Sabbath day. Is this to say that non SDAs don't honour God as their creator? God forbid, of course we christians love and view God as the creator of all things.

When I wrote my first response my heart was full of wanting to explain the teaching I felt was not right in the SDA church because I no longer feel guilt for not being a SDA and I have learned from the bible a lot more that SDAs don’t teach or teach with their interpretation. I know the Holy Spirit still abides with me. Within each born again believer the words ‘I know that I know that I know that He lives within me’ rings true. As humans we segregate and name our church but God doesn’t. He sees us as a whole , His church, drawing all people with with His Spirit. Yes I go to Sunday worship . I also frequent a Shabbat Jewish celebration Friday evenings to experience a bit of the Jewish way run by Messianic Jews who are born again and occasionally I do attend an SDA church. Praise God He has His people everywhere and the ‘Adventist’ lens is gone. God started His church after Jesus left us and the disciples including Paul went out into the world to spread the gospel not in 1844.

I praise God for this interview! While we all may have different understandings of scripture, the character of Christ was exhibited here and that’s awesome. But my biggest joy however is that the truth about the coming Sunday law mandate is being more and more broadcasted. God has opened the door for those who never heard these truths to hear it and when it happens they will believe. If God has not convicted you of obedience in a certain area, sabbath, your pride, your stealing, anything then he winks at your ignorance and you are not held accountable but he’s bringing the truth out now because we are on the verge of this reality and he wants his people to know. If the Holy Spirit convicts you of this truth don’t harden your heart. He’s coming soon but not before the test. Pray, fast, repent, surrender and he will help you be strong for him during this time. I am 73 years old and was raised in an SDA home. Went to SDA schools through my sophomore year in college. Bible classes were required every year in some form. I can tell you that in those classes Ellen White was at the forefront of all the doctrinal teaching that I received. Her books were some of my textbooks and the school library was full of all her books. We did read from the Bible of course but it didn’t seem to carry as much weight as her writings imho. I left the SDA church in 1965 after reading a NKJV Bible.......specifically the book of Romans. I mean no disrespect to SDAs and am just sharing my experience with their religion.
if you left because you read the book of Romans then you have misread Romans----I read the book many times but is only deepened my faith in Christ and the SDA church - so, you have greatly misunderstood Romans---you probably ended up rejecting the Sabbath - but kept the other 9.

@@mykzalot yes. I grew up in the sda church from about age 6-13 (my parent stopped going to church around that time) . When I turned 20 That was the year I was born again after hearing the gospel clearly for the first time. I received the Holy Spirit by the grace of God and was able to discern what the Bible says from what I was taught growing up. I had many teachers help me along the way, but ultimately the Holy Spirit and the word of God lead me to believe or reject what I was taught by anyone.

If anyone worships or follows the Gregorian calendar, then they have already been deceived to worship the IMAGE OF THE BEAST, because it is based on the roman pagan julian calendar and Rome was the 4th BEAST that Daniel warned about, who would think to change Gods RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS AND LAWS (Dan 7:25). According to the Bible, BUYING & SELLING SHOULD NOT OCCUR ON SABBATHS OR ANY HOLY DAY (Neh 10:31). Before the Julius Caesar calendar (63BC), the romans had an 8 day week and a 10 month year, so why on earth would anyone follow any IMAGE OF THE BEAST? Thank you for this Jason. It is difficult in such a short timeframe to communicate the complexity that is competing theological systems. There are so many layered differences that require finessing in order to understand how and why someone comes to a conclusion. For example, the simple fact that Allen is Calvinist in orientation while Adventism leans more Armenian leads to entirely separate presuppositions on whole hosts of things that aren't even unique to Adventism!
Exactly. We should keep in mind that it is sometimes difficult to give a simple answer to some questions because it might not be satisfactory or could be misunderstood.
Can anyone explain in 20 minutes topics like slavery in the Bible or God's commandment to king Saul to destroy all Amalekites? How satisfactory that explanation would be to an unbeliever? Could it be interpreted as dancing around and trying to defend indefensible?

Before the Julius Caesar calendar (63BC), the romans had an 8 day week and a 10 month year, so why on earth would anyone follow any IMAGE OF THE BEAST? Gods calendar must clearly have New Moon Days, 6 working days, and Sabbath Days as mentioned in (Eze 46:1). Where are the New Moon Days on the julian or gregorian calendar? One thought about the Sabbath. The sabbath is a specific blessed day per God not man. God says the 7th day will be the anniversary to creation, so to pick any day we want will not be a blessed

if you look to Allen Parr to interpret scripture properly for you then you are in a bad place as he does not know his bible - he is just another preacher on line with an opinion that the ignorant cannot refute...he rejects tithing - he rejects the 7th day sabbath - he believes God puts his children in hell forever - hell is annihilation so the consequences are eternal. etc.

But he certainly does not understand his Bible....The Gospel consists of 2 parts - justification but also sanctification...sanctification is the term we use for obedience - obedience to the 10 commandments which includes the Sabbath - for Christ said in Luke 6.46 - why do you call me Lord Lord and do not the things that I say. And John 17. 17 says -sanctify them by your truth your word is truth ...Allen is very sincere but poorly versed in scripture...Christ does more than a work for us he does a work in us -called sanctification

When i was younger i went on a search for the truth - to many different churches and investigated what they believe. That includes Eastern religions and the occult. The only religion I could find which followed the Bible completely are the SDA's. I used the King James Bible as my only guide. In Romans 8 Paul speaks of living by the law of life! that is in Christ Jesus that has delivered from the law of sin & death so if we consider the situation one law supersedes the other for example . When you decide to travel on a overseas trop by aircraft you take it by faith that once the plane goes down the runway it will eventually take off you have come to believe in the law of air dynamics that enables the plane to take off and fly and that is what happens . You trust in the ability of the plane and the pilot flying . so by faith I believe in the Holy Spirit that Paul clearly was under when he wrote both verses . Paul was dealt with by the very Lord of creation himself when he had embarked of his journey to Damascus where the Lord intervened . All through Paul's life he suffered for the Gospel after he was saved , the truth was wrought into his being and became his person not just a Mear teaching to pass on we all need to experience it in a deep and life changing way. It is the Divine attributes that are in Christ that are lived out in the humanity of the person of Jesus the first God-man if we will employ those God-man virtues in our living then we can live out His life to express Him in our daily living if we fail and sin we have Christ the reality of the sin offering as our saviour where we can confess our sins and be forgiven.

In Old Testament times, Sabbath was a day to treat in a special way. But under the New Covenant, the fulfilled meaning of it's symbolism of "rest" - refers to the rest of heart and mind that comes as a result of being saved through repentance and accepting Jesus as Savior, I believe.
Jesus himself went to the synagogue on Saturday for sabbath. God from the beginning said to keep his day holy. Where in the bible does it say that Jesus tells us to make the 3rd day he rose to change sabboth?

Allen, you did AWESOME. I'm sure you didn't agree with most of what he said, but you kept it very respectful, and I commend you on that. We all have to remember to be willing to have open dialog, even with those that may disagree. We have to remember that God's word says " He takes no pleasure in those that perish, and wishes that all be saved. What you did is used that opportunity to minister to him at the same time. Something tells me that he doesn't even believe in everything that his religion believes, but it seems like he was just trying to make sure he doesn't let his superiors down. I hope the holy spirit convicts him, and makes him want to know more of what you believe, and questions everything that he was taught. Stay in touch with that brother, because Something tells me that you might have a great chance to win him.

I was looking forward to this as my daughter is dating a SDA and now she has switched to a SDA... but I must admit I feel Justin didnt believe the writings of Mrs. White or would not give a straight answer when her writings CLEARLY said certain claims. Her claims completely say another religion then what he is saying he believes. And that is what my problem is with my daughters boyfriends family ( GREAT FAMILY) but they will NEVER give me a straight answer when clearly their prophtess White is very clear. So this did not help me in anyway...still not getting clear answers.

My daughter boyfriends family has sent me messages on " Mark of the Beast"... now that I have heard the truth according to the SDA I am know making a decision to worship on Sunday therefore choosing wrong and will receive the mark. I have watched MANY services and actually gone to their church to educate myself. Again WONDERFUL Family and church. But I strongly disagree. I guess I firmly stand on my beliefs and have no problem just stating them. I believe in a Pre- tribulation rapture, I dont believe in abortion, I believe you dont need to be baptized to go to heaven. I agree with the gift of tongues dont exist any longer....SEE I CAN STAND FIRM ON WHAT I BELIEVE that's the CORE of a Baptist. But if you dont follow the CORE of SDA then it's not that religion you follow. We didnt even get into many of her prophecies were wrong. Please take this all out of Love and understanding not a nasty comment...I truly am concerned about my daughters change in beliefs :)

@@cevans3505 In my opinion,one of the greatest pitfalls of the SDA community is using Ellen's teachings to interpret the Bible,but that's the job the Holy Spirit. Even when you quote a scripture say for example, For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

This was a great conversation. As someone who aligns much more on these issues with Allen, I felt that Justin did a great job communicating the broader beliefs of modern Adventists. I don't think he quite addressed the issues with Ellen White's statements to a degree where I would not feel anymore concerns. But, I think this is due to the fact that he has grown up an adventist and that's all he has known. It's hard for both sides to truly see each other's point of view when you haven't lived it.

Thank you for a respectful and interesting discussion. As an SDA I agree with what Justin says, but felt it was a bit watered down at first. It is true that we are judged on those things that the Holy Spirit convicts us, but by no means does this lessen the Sabbath as a commandment or that the breaking of this commandment is sin. Fortunately, Jesus died to save us as sinners, which is why many Sunday worshippers will be saved - even those keeping the Seventh Day, do so poorly. We can never be saved through our own righteous efforts, but we can be lost through deliberate sin (Hebrews 10:26-27). I believe there is one aspect in each of our lives that God is working to improve, but one that we are reluctant to change. This is our personal battlefront, draw closer to Him and allow Him to guide you through. Take assurance from Romans 7, that even though we fail, it is our willingness to follow that matters.
As a Seventh day Adventist I can agree with that.

The bible answers all these questions concerning the word. I wish people took how serious salvation is. Yes you may not agree with what the word is saying because you're used to tradition but it doesn't make the word any less true. Get in yall word yall. I pray that we all stand on the truth of what we believe in and to my adventist family this is an example of why we need to study our word and stand on it and not back down for friendships. I also want to say it's not about "religion or denomination" it's about God and obeying his word. Foundationally, yes, the Bible does answer these questions. Regarding EGW, (for me) that takes some discussion as people will misapply/misrepresent her view/writings. Or just flat out may not know what she's saying and make assumptions. The main error here is isolating one statement here and there. Secondly, the last sentence regarding salvation is not the message she's sending here. And yes, most who argue against her writings believe/feel that she places herself equal with scripture or, they flat out misunderstand what she's communicating. In that section of her writings, she says nothing of her placing her writings "equal" to scripture. There are a number of quotes where she says the exact opposite. She's talking about herself her. Read the last sentence again (and would place us in that company who have departed....). It is clear that she is confident in what she experienced for herself. It is clear that she feels a responsibility to be a witness of what she's experienced. For her, denying what she experienced is not an option. That's what she's saying.
One of my favorite things about the Bible is the fact that there’s no denominations in it. Just ONE church authored and created by the One God and Savior Christ Jesus!

As a Protestant, I'm coming to believe that in fact, the Sabbath is Friday at sunset to Saturday at sunset, and we ARE to honor the sabbath as our day of rest to keep it holy as God requires in the 10 commandments. For some reason, I believe that we have conveniently ignored the sabbath and come up with our own ideas which, no matter how we spin it, seem to be contrary to what the Bible teaches concerning the sabbath. However, the first Christians did also meet on the first day of the week. Is there room to honor the sabbath rest AND also worship on Sunday?
Another disturbing thing to me is when Evangelical Christians argue that "the day does not matter". It sounds a bit haughty, perhaps because we are busy justifying what we do, as if we couldn't be wrong in this matter. That is where we must simply become open to the word of God, becoming sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and being willing to study, pray, and RECONSIDER our positon! Ellen G. White may be off kilter as many things were seen differently 120 yrs ago, and have been altered toward a more correct biblical view (as it sounds like she herself seemed to exhort us to cast off her writings if they don't agree with scripture). Martin Luther and many great men and women of our faith also had serious flaws- such as antisemitism, in Luther's case. We don't dismiss the founders because of these even very serious flaws.
I am so impressed that these two godly men can discuss so openly and respectfully, important considerations of Christianity. Thank you and I pray for you both!
While I agree all of scripture is important, not all scripture is significant to salvation.
If individual Christians honor the Sabbath by setting aside one day a week to rest and honor God, the particular day is not SIGNIFICANT.
Imagine standing before the Lord on judgement day, and the Lord says, " You will not enter the kingdom because you kept the Sabboth on Sunday, instead of Saturday."
I am also weary of the preachers calling certain denominations a "cult."
It's not helpful. Arguments should be about scriptural truth. Ad hominem arguments never advance truth and cause people to close their minds. We all agree that being called a cult member, whether true or not, causes offense. It's a derisive term.

As a bibllical Christ-follower, I appreciate the SDA correct view on end times views and Sabbath. Might be important to know that the Catholic Church said it was her 'mark' of authority to change the Sabbath to the first day of the week.

Oh my goodness. I was raised sda. I got to church on Sunday now. Because we find rest and fellowship at the church and Jesus more. It has been made clear to me that since I have gone and know the true sabbath before, I will most likely burn in hell and not be saved. My kids are worried. The fact that Justin didn’t know much about her until 17, is shocking. That is all the church preaches. I’ve been to more than 15 and every main position is “thank goodness we worship in the correct day and here is why.”
The Adventist Church followed Ellen G. White in *CHANGING THE SABBATH from a strictly Jewish Commandment BY GOD to the "Children of Israel* " from God, to a *COMMANDMENT OF MEN BY THE ADVENTIST CHURCH to FORCE Christians to become JEWISH!* That heresy was fully condemned by the Apostles and Bishops of the Church by mouth of the Holy Spirit in Acts 15-16:5 and throughout the New Testament. *None of the Prophets, not CHRIST HIMSELF, nor the Apostles, ever taught the Sabbath was binding on Gentile nations or Christians*

Can you give an example of what is confusing about EGW's writings ?
I believe there has been an update to the website recently. However, what's more confusing (for me anyway) is the misapplication of her writings. Secondly, many do not know what Justin said today regarding EGW's response to her own writings as she (on many occasions) pointed to the Bible. The representation of her on the website needs to be clear as possible - I believe we can agree there. But I would not be in favor of taking it down completely.
Everything that was posted. Why do you think it was featured. Justin still didn’t really answer why did she write what she wrote. I feel sad that they don’t feature only what God says, it would be nice to see Him featured not Ellen. At the end of the day people will either be inspired by what they read on the website or they will turn away. It’s just sad because her writings are confusing people to think that the religion is a cult and as a sister in Christ, I would not wish for people to think that. With everything happening in the world, shouldn’t the only message be that the only way to eternity is through Jesus. Keep it as simple as Jesus made it. God bless.

My experience as well I am now Roman Catholic and have been for the last 25 years my father is still SDA and pray for him every day that he will wake up. Also what this guy is saying is definitely not correct I also went to seven day Adventist school from preschool to seventh grade and I knew a lot about Ellen G white and her teachings so the fact that he didn’t know much about her is very surprising.

When I was involved with Adventism the Roman Catholic Church was the antichrist and the Catholic changing of the Holy Day from the seventh-day to Sunday is putting man's ideas over a clear commandment from God. That in the end times those who keep Sunday will be lost and Sunday keepers will receive the mark of the beast. I don't keep any day now personally and indeed to me so much of the unique doctrine of the SDA church isn't clear enough in the Bible to convert a Baptist or Presbyterian etc but one has to go to a book by Mrs. White. Anyway good luck as you move forward with your faith.

Here's what I think from what I recently read in Romans: if you are convicted of something, for example, not eating meat, then do it. Doesn't mean everyone is wrong for eating meat, it just means it's a personal conviction of yours in regards to your faith and your relationship with God. I think the same goes here for keeping the Sabbath, if you are convicted, then do it. But I don't think it has a definitive effect on your salvation, just like abstaining from eating meat.

Another spirit got ahold of EGW, and any false teachers, even in Christianity, which would make them wolves in sheep's clothing.
There is not a ceremony that saves, none. Anyone can keep the Sabbath, as man teaches it, but truly, never has there been a true Sabbath keeper except Jesus Christ, only because He is God. That was so the Jews could find no fault in Him, but they did anyway. He actually showed them David did not keep the Sabbath, in that, giving corn to his men, when explaining why his disciples picked and ate..was it corn...on the Sabbath. So SDAs are not really keeping the Sabbath, the Bible says no one can keep the law. Jesus fulfilled the law, so we are free to obey God in Spirit and in truth. We can only keep His commandments when He abides in us by His Holy Spirit.
As a former adventist I have to say that Justin is projecting adventist beliefs through rose tinted lenses, what he believes and what adventism is actually about are poles apart, I can assure you of that! All the concerns that Allen highlighted regarding SDA beliefs and Ellen G White's writings are completely justified!

As a current member, Justin's response is Jesus-Centered as it should be. Secondly, he clearly states that everyone's experience within Adventism is not the same and there have been instances where people have misrepresented Jesus and EGW. The concerns that Allen highlights are valid, yes, but (for me) his concerns are the result of being misinformed or uninitiated at the onset.
I'm a former SDA, and I 100% agree that, after his research, Allen needs to talk with some more "official" SDA voices....hey, why not Ted Wilson??

@@jexy_marshall God’s people were under slavery in Egypt for 400 years under precisely the scenario you cited until God Himself came to punish Pharaoh. Exodus 8 v. 1 “Go unto Pharaoh and say unto him, ‘Thus saith the Lord: Let My people go, that they may worship Me.”
In Exodus 20 God reminds His people how He wants to be worshipped including by keeping the Sabbath commandment. Further on in Exodus 31 v. 15-17
“Six days may work be done, but on the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whosoever doeth any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel for ever; for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”
In case you are wondering who are the true Israelite of today, the Apostle Paul in the book of Romans clarified this point:
“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." Galatians 3:7. "For they are not all Israel which are of Israel; neither because they are the seed of Abraham are they all children… but the children of promise are counted for the seed." Romans 9:6-8.”

The Sabbath actually began as a memorial of God's creation before there was sin on Earth, this is recorded in Genesis 2 v. 1:
"Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day He rested from all His work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done."
Take note that Adam & Eve were created on the sixth day and basically all they did was to rest (so to speak) and celebrate God's creation on the Sabbath which was the seventh day. Later on Adam & Eve disobeyed God and so sin entered the world and interrupted God's beautiful world. Suppose Adam & Eve had not messed up - we would still ALL be keeping the Sabbath without any question or controversy! The Good News of the Christian Gospel as we know it is all about the redemption of humankind from sin with a single end objective: restoration of the Eden life we lost of God's original design of a world free from sin. That is why the Bible is clear that the Sabbath as originally intended will be part of this new heavens and earth that God will recreate, Isaiah 66 v. 22-23 says:
“As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure. From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord.
The above introduction brings us to the verse in Mark 2 v. 27 "Then Jesus said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."
The issue at play begins in Mark 2 v. 23 "One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grain fields, and as his disciples walked along, they began to pick some heads of grain. The Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?” Take note that the Pharisees accused Jesus that He was breaking the Sabbath! It's common knowledge that the Pharisees and religious leaders of Jesus' time had twisted God's word and added to it unnecessary nonsense which made the worship of God on the Sabbath to become a burden instead of a celebration of God's love. This point was clearly clarified in the narrative in Luke 14 v. 1 - 5:
"One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched. There in front of Jesus was a man suffering from abnormal swelling of his body. Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?” But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, Jesus healed him and sent him on his way.
Then Jesus asked them, “If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?” And they had nothing to say."
In the above verses Jesus clearly showed that good works are permitted on the Sabbath that is why He taught, healed and did many charitable activities on the Sabbath. Therefore the Sabbath was made for humankind to do good to our fellow human beings and God's creation. This is in keeping with God's own revealed word in Isaiah 58 v. 13-14:
“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken."
In other words, we eat to live, we don't live to eat - similarly the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath! Jesus corrected the twisted understanding about the Sabbath of the Pharisees and "experts in the law" since Jesus Himself instituted the Sabbath in Eden since He created everything on this Earth (John 1 v. 3 "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.") That is why Jesus concluded that passage in Mark 2 with the words in verse 28:
"Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath." It's not surprising that John in the book of Revelation 1 v. 10 could say "On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,..." The Lord's Day is the Sabbath.
Now think of this theoretical perspective. God was so particular about the Sabbath in the Old Testament days such that those among His people who broke it were sentenced to death or removed from the community per Exodus 31 v. 14 "You must keep the Sabbath day, for it is a holy day for you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death; anyone who works on that day will be cut off from the community."
Now when Jesus comes back again for the Second time what will happen to the unfortunate people from the Old Testament days whose singular punishment might have been a death sentence for desecrating the Sabbath? Would they be resurrected and go to Heaven, if not, would they perish forever for just breaking the Sabbath? Personally I would rather err on the side of John 14 v. 15 "“If you love me, you will keep my commandments."
Exodus 31 v. 16 - 17 "The Israelites must keep the Sabbath, celebrating it as a permanent covenant for the generations to come. It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, but on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’
Ezekiel 20 v. 19-20 "I am the LORD your God; walk in My statutes, keep My ordinances, and practice them. Keep My Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us, so that you may know that I am the LORD your God."
If God changeth not, I'm sure His permanent covenant remains for the spiritual Israel of God of Galatians 3 v.7 and Romans 9 v. 6-8:
“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." .... "For they are not all Israel which are of Israel; neither because they are the seed of Abraham are they all children… but the children of promise are counted for the seed."
Thank God that salvation is not by works or by keeping the Law but is the free gift of grace to those who believe on Jesus Christ His Son.
You still have to work and keep the law to obtain that salvation. It is in the bible. Your free will is the gift, you have to choose to love the lord for that salvation. I say this respectfully

@@porfiriojohn5276 God made laws called the 10 commandments. The bible stays consistent and never does away with them. It is not by works alone not by faith alone, they go in hand in hand. You must apply both. You don't cherry pick what part of the bible you want to follow all of it. As it states if you break one commandment you break all commandments. I'm not telling you to focus on Ellen White. Regardless of what denomination you want to call yourself, it is your obligation to read the bible and not hang on to man's word. Don't get hung up on traditions and really study. The grace that God gives is to save you from your ignorance, once you know better it is a sin to turn a blind eye. You should be doing it all out of love, once it's just a routine or from fear usually you become no different from the Pharisees. It will not be only ppl from SDA to be saved. The denomination isn't what's important, it's a lable to be recognized by society. What matters is how and what you do as a follower of Christ, hence the word Christian. Trust that God is just. God made it very clear if you love me then keep my commandments. The 4th commandment is an example of that. It is to keep the Sabbath holy. Jesus Christ was and is a gift, but it doesn't mean you can do what you want claim a title and you will always be saved. God tells you that you can loose your salvation but can earn it back. I hope this answered a few things. If I missed something it's not on purpose. If you want to look into something's, School for Prophets is a good channel to start. We strongly encourage education, because when you know better than you do better. I would like all of us to prosper and make it in the book of life. I don't know y'all, but I love you anyway, because God made you in his image and it was from love 😘

If I can make a suggestion you should make yet another follow up video in a Bible study format and each of you present your beliefs from a "Thus saith the Lord" perspective. Meaning- I would like to know what the Bible teaches vs what clergy and pastors say. It's okay to listen to your pastors however at the end of the day all of the decisions we make regarding our belief system should strictly come from the Word of God (all of the Word of God, not New or Old but all). 2 Timothy 3:16-17

They have found no error in her writings so even after death they take instructions from her.

Lastly, The Adventist Church willfully and deliberately changed the law of God to suit their own devious purposes and to destroy Christianity in the process. And, not being satisfied with that, they then *changed the gospel* from *Christ saving souls from eternal punishment to the gospel of The Atheists, "annihilation and soul sleep" to satisfy and console the wicked.*
