@@Willie42McCoy I have many things to say to you and anyone else who thinks the way you do. First, are you receiving spiritual value from this ministry? If so, have you ever donated to what we are doing? Have you ever given a red cent towards our mission? Would you be a part of a church and not consider giving to support what they are doing? Or would you be one of those Christians who likes to take, take, take but never give back? What I find so interesting about people who think this way is that they will be quick to spend money on Christian merchandise, movies, concerts, art, mugs, music, etc. But they won't invest in their own spiritual life. The Old Testament is SO important! People need to know how to read and understand it because many false teachings come from incorrect readings of the text. Thank you Pastor Allen!
i was having a conversation yesterday with someone who only believed in the Old Testament, because the new testament wasn't written yet at Jesus' time. ....of course it wasn't. He was telling the Disciples what to write, and they were still taking notes. and this obviously meant Jesus wasn't God. Somehow.
This is true. The OT is crucial to understanding thr NT; and after years of studying and research, I think the OT needs the NT to be fully understood. Example, 1 Corinthians 2:7-8 "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory". Peace of the Triune God be with you.
@@TheShiningEnergy ask him if he can explain the Angel of the Lord, and why 2nd temple jews believed in the "2 powers in heaven", the Invisible YHWH and the Visible YHWH that people saw in the OT, but we all know no man can see God and live. John 1: 18 "No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him", and John 6:46 Jesus says "Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father". But, Exodus 24:9-10 says "Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity". Ask your friend if he can explain this. The Son of God, the Messiah is the One who we've been seeing from ancient times; "before Abraham I AM" and "Abraham saw my day, and rejoiced". He wasn't lying.

Finished read the Old Testment and it was really informative for historical and spiritual enrichment. Every Christian should read it
For me when I came to the knowledge of God almost 5 years ago my spirit led me to read mostly the first covenant commonly known as the Old Testament.
In my opinion i learn more about God in the Old Testament I get more knowledge of who the creator is. The New Testament to me is more feel good scriptures that allows people to still do what I they want and they still will be in the kingdom of GOD/YAHUAH.
I do read the renewed covenant /New Testament but I’ll read the first covenant/Old Testament first.
I believe I grow more Spiritually because of it.

Old Testament is such a fascinating read. My favorite is Genesis. I can’t put it down. Everything has a backstory from start to finish. Truly amazing!

Actually, I really enjoy reading the OT. I am one of those people who positively rejoice reading Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Samuel, Job, Isaiah, Ezekiel, the Psalms etc.
Same here I agree with you, reading the Old Testament gives us better understanding of the New Testament and Teachings of Jesus
Hello teacher, I recently overheard a conversation at work, they were talking about the negroes being the children of Israel. a lot of the scripture discussed was coming out of the book of Deuteronomy. And something about I hope I'm saying this right (Rebecca having two Nations inside her womb!) is this true about the negroes being the children of Israel? Thank you God bless

I've been a follower of Christ for many years but that doesn't mean I fully understand the bible, therefore I decided to re-read it again for a better understanding.
I love reading the Old Testament! Have read completely through it 8 times now.

I’m a pretty new Christian in the sense that only in the past year have I began to take it seriously and realize I needed to be applying God’s word to my life and I needed to actually make some hard changes in myself. I lived 27 years of being a “I believe in God and Jesus” but lived however I wanted type of person. Not that my relationship with God needs justification 😊

I love reading the Old Testament. By the grace of God, I learned a lot of this last year in my Bible class in college. This is definitely refreshing my memory! 👏🏽 I remember when I first saw that chart with the different kings, I freaked out 😂 Then I looked closely and I was like,, “Oh okay, not bad. I can read this.” 😂 🤦🏽♀️
Jesus thank you for helping me with the fear and worry I am dealing with. I know I will make it through this hard time with your guidance. These past years have been difficult. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic and non verbal. I’m overwhelmed at times. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I have no family to lean on. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing but not making nearly enough. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two children. I’m constantly in fear of losing my home. To even think about being on the streets with two young children is terrifying. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide. HE HAS THIS FAR! With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

I love to receive that scripture in depth .. good food and very fruitful for my spirit as well as any who take the time to view and embrace what we’ve learned.. I'm reading the daily audio Bible chronological (which was suggested by you at the beginning of the year 😊) and we are in the book of Jeremiah and i love it ❤️ it gets a bit confusing at times but im getting an understanding of it through the help of the HolySpirit🙏🏾... this is my first time reading the Bible in chronological order and it's very interesting how it all comes together.. The Old Testament is amazing! It shows us so much about who God is. I’ve been reading a chronological Bible, which really helps solidify biblical history to me. It’s awesome!

I have grown to love the OT with the little understanding of the NT. One book in particular I struggled with was chronicles but I have since saw how it enrich kings and pave a way for the following books. Thank you sir

It caught my eye because we are studying the minor Prophets in Bible Study Fellowship this year and I thought it might add to my understanding. It certainly did!
