That was a rope. The plan was to rope away from him so that he couldn't punch interrupt my ebolt (which failed, I got interrupted).

@@MrShawnrconners You can do it with 0 alchemy. You have to cast telekinesis on the target for it to stick. Cast telekinesis on yourself before they do if you dont want their purple pot to stick. Great counter play against alchy mages.
