The pitch sound test is not always a sure test. A slightly translucent bangle can ring nice if it’s cut thinly. Whereas a better translucent bangle may ring lower because it’s thicker cut.
Thank you for showing us how to tell! I admit that I have never owned jade items; I see things that look like jade for sale, but there are so many fakes that it just cheapens the craft that goes into true jade.
After watching your video I remember wen have some small unpolished bangles (kids size) wayback late or early 1990s. Our aunty have it to us. It was given by her employer who has a Jade shop. We also have some Chinese stamps with Chinese letterings/marks. It was just last year that I took out those bangles and stamps and have them thrown away because we dunno what those markings mean and the old man carved on top of the stamps. After watching this video I went back to check if we still have some left and we do have 2 bangles and 2 stamps. OMG! They sound just like your bangles. I also checked the sound with some Jade beads I have and they sound like your bangles. Thanks for the education. I'll keep the left bangles and stamps.
Eventually I plan on investing in some beautiful Jade, however currently I'm trying to learn as much as I can about it so I know exactly what I'm getting what varieties there are and the best sources I also love learning about the cultural aspects my father is Mexican native Jade is very important in that part of my heritage so I want to embrace it 😁
I have a multi color flat circle dark green, brown or orange light green and light cream. I put a black light to it, it doesn't glow and you can see through it. It looks really old....
I have grape jade that came from an antique grapes 🍇 decoration. You can see all the natural colors and inclusions . I think that’s how you describe it lol. It looks like the colors of the Burma green light. Would that also make this sound? Or like glass/rock? Since it’s a grape shape and small like a rock. When I clack them together they do sound different than just clacking rocks or marbles. Higher pitch not that high since they are a half inch long and round like a grape. I want to make a bracelet for them
my last video is about how to understand if a stone is orginal jade stone. To find out if the jade stone is real or fake. First of all, attach a hair strand to jade stone. look with a lighter see how it reacts. If this stone is a real jade stone, this strand of hair will not burn. there is only the soot of the (fire of ) lighter on stone. Even when you can clean soot with your hand, and soot goes away.

Hello Jackson nice to meet you How are you doing?? My name is Charley I am interested to saw you show room sake for jade. How to verify real jade Thank you very much
I got duped at a legit jade shop in China. Bought a jade dragon pendant for $350. The people there are all saying it’s so rare and all, acting all amazed and jealous. Got it checked at a local jade shop when I went back to my country. Turns out, it’s real jade BUT it’s of the lowest quality/type. Real price is just around $100 🤦🏻♀️ Too young, too dumb.
It could be nephrite jade. Nephrite is a fraction of the price of jadeite. Or...it is a treated jade or dyed quartz. Always have papers when buying jade cause only lab can tell if real or fake.
Your sound Test is not good at all. When you touch the real Jade bengal, it makes a sharp clanging sound because it is HANGING and the resonance is not being disturbed. Whereas as when you touch the Glass on your cabinet it make is dull glass sound because the sheet of glass is not hanging. You should find a piece of Real Glass the same size and shape of the Jade Bengal you have and only then touch it or hit it to determine the sound test.
The bangles they have still sound the same no matter if one was hanging or not :) i have one from them it is the same sound like they show on video, its on my arm not hanging.

reading prompt notes from a book does not inspire confidence in your knowledge, just an observation
What? I don't understand the connection. Reading notes on what to say just means that he is structuring his video better, instead of rambling
Is it for male or female?
Bangles are for mostly for females! But a lot of men are wearing them too!
I meant jade
He said about Low quality jade
Come in Myanmar ( Burmese)
I will show high quality jade ,in Burmese jade are many expensive and so many jade
I want a jade bracelet..how much will it cost?
I think he said about $7,000
He is selling top grade icy jadeite; expensive.
Anywhere from $200 - 10000 depend on quality of the jade. Most of them you see in china town are fake.
