Golden dives, I love the lengths you go to in the pursuit of adventure and treasure. No sea too deep, no hill to steep, no stone unturned, if there is an adventure to be found, you will find it!!!
Absolutely loved this video! I really hope you make more like this on the future! Seeing the jade markets as a westerner is something we just dont see or have over here. Hope to check it out myself one day! ❤
Hello :) The ruby stone in video is actually Ruby in Zoisite from Tanzania. I have at least two green jadeites from Burma and I think I figured out which are the most expensive ones .First the color is intense emerald green and color is almost the same on stone as it is when You put torchlight to it ,they have no visible cracks and are translucent to transparent .Another thing is that not all jade is jadeite jade there is also cheaper nephrite jade and it is more common .Anyway I'm going to cut two jadeites I have and make cabochons out of it. Thank You for posting this exciting video !
Hi, Fabrizio. Your title 'Jade Gambling' is right on the button. It was a very interesting tour through the markets, and a lot of people seemed to want to appear in your video. I hope you will be happy with the finished carving. Thanks for sharing 👍
This is very interesting. At 10:45, it is amazing he has all his fingers. I don't think OSHA would approve of holding a stone to a fast spinning saw blade. It seems a big gamble, they could grind off an area of the rocks and people could see what they are buying. I guess they make more money selling unknown rocks.
As a jade carver for over 20 years I found this interesting. I would even have liked the stone you gave to the lost bets shop, or the other bigger one. You did not mention the name of the town you were in, but I think you did in one of your old videos.

usually these saws are made of steel with diamond mounted on it edges. It only cut hard rock and did not cut fingers.
