he's involved in a shooting on city streets, he flees in a car at 90 mph, he runs from the scene and gets tackled by the police, and the guy turns around and says, 'what did i do?' that's a classic...

They are counting on the fact that there won't be a full recording, skips in the video, camera fell off, etc and they can get some sleazy lawyer to get them off on a technicality. "I was just minding my business walking up the street and these cops just tackled me for no reason and I just kept asking them 'what did I do?' I'm an innocent victim here."

Honestly I started wondering if the rookie had gotten injured or something with how he just couldn’t ever catch his breath. Definitely in way better shape than me, that’s for sure. But I really do worry about his heart with him gasping for breath for several minutes after sprinting for about 30 sec (edit: it was actually just 12 seconds. Then he was gasping for breath for the rest of the video, which was 7 more minutes. Who knows when he finally did catch his breath?) Not disrespecting, just concerned.

Now at the federal penitentiaries hotels. 🤣🫶🏽 they start at one hundred and sixteen thousand dollars (116.000) per deposited uneducated gettho kid on our penitentiary system. Assuming they are low security. If they are murderers, they are on higher level security at about 180.000 per year / and maximum security for the Maximum crazies at 😂377.000 per gettho kid per year , I’ll do my part as a law abiding citizen and keep in. The officer was very nice and informed me that I was eligible of being issued a reckless driving ticket for the speed. I got off with a ticket for 60 in a 55 i think it was, he did me a great deal that day. All you have to do is be respectful and you earn respect back its that simple. The driver, a 23-year-old Detroit man, and his 19-year-old passenger, who was identified as the alleged shooter, were both booked at the Detroit Detention Center. A rifle was recovered from the suspect vehicle.
Police said a 27-year-old shooting victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
MSP did not release any information about what may have led up to the shooting, but did say that investigators learned that Detroit Police has been looking for a white Ford Escape in connection with another shooting earlier in the day.
    The investigation is ongoing.
“Great job by both of these troopers to take these two dangerous suspects off our streets," said MSP First Lt. Mike Shaw

@cluckhead1913 Yeah, but I bet if you don't pay them, you can't register your vehicle. It is the same in California. And before you respond and argue, are you MAGA? Because, it sounds like it to me. There has been a lot of oppression against poor people and especially black poor people in America. The laws being made now are an attempt to relieve the burden on the poor people who break laws as just a means to survive. I don't necessarily agree with it, but it is better than nothing. This suffering has been ongoing for over 200 years since slavery, and America throws scraps at the problem. Luckily for me, I had a mother who loved me and understood that the law, must be followed in a civilized society. Otherwise we descend into anarchy. My mother also understood that education was the only way to increase your status in a civilized society. So, I used my mother's love and knowledge to find a way out. For those who don't have that, it can be extremely rough. Not that it has been easy for me. Oppression sees color. 'Nuff said.

He said "well, alright" and then he ran my info and said "Well, no ticket tonight. You got cruise control?" I said "yeah, I should probably be using it." He said "Yeah, you should use the cruise control and just listen to some tunes. You're free to go, no ticket."
That was a few months ago now back during the summer of 2023. I've been setting the cruise control to 79-80. I drive past MSP all the time and they don't stop me at 80mph. The night they got me I was doing 86. 100% chance the County boys would've written me a ticket for 16 over the speed limit.

. According to Michigan State Police, the driver, a 23-year-old from Detroit, and the passenger, who is also the shooter in this case, a 19-year-old, were taken to the Detroit Detention Center.
Authorities recovered a rifle from the vehicle and said the victim in the shooting, a 27-year-old, was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle also matches the description of a vehicle involved in a shooting earlier that day.

CBS DETROIT) - Two men have been arrested after police heard shots fired and were led on a chase in Detroit Wednesday evening, state police said.
At about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9, troopers were conducting a traffic stop at Davison Road and Petoskey Avenue. During this stop, they heard shots fired in the area and saw two men, one of which had a rifle. The two men then ran away, and troopers saw them driving away at a high speed in a white Ford Escape.
Troopers tried to stop the vehicle, and when the driver didn't stop, troopers used a Precision Immobilization Technique (P.I.T.) to stop the vehicle.
Both men tried to run away from the vehicle but were arrested without incident.
Investigation revealed a vehicle with the same description was also connected to a shooting earlier that day.
"Great job by both of these troopers to take these two dangerous suspects off our streets," said Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw. "We will continue to work with our policing partners across the state to make sure Michigan is a place where everyone can feel safe and secure.
