The game is what it is, but this trailer is truly a cinematic joy to watch. The soundtrack from the movie Moon strangely fits and adds to the buildup. Very well done short film.
As someone who played this game in elementary school with my cousin who I didn’t see much and played constantly and religiously. I love this game and want a sequel
The game is not bad at all. I had a lot of fun playing it. But the thing is, they promised something that was almost spectacular. The kind of game that every Alien fan wanted... And they did not deliver it. And that is sad.
@@trblemayker5157nah the multiplayer provided some of the best aliens gameplay ever. Genuinely am enjoyed the modes that were provided and wish they did more with it. Mission where you’re stripped down from all your equipment was probably the only part of the game where it felt like a genuine aliens experience. Other than that tho it was pretty bad
I find it really upsetting that something that was really promising, badass, and cool like this game based on the teaser trailer had turned out to be a total disaster when it came out. But I guess it just shows you, not all good ideas would turn out great at the end.

@@VampireFan-rf5kb i think its also was problem of "Aliens", xenomorphs turned into space bugs and were very fragile compared to Alien's xenomorph (Alien Isolation also show how indestructible xenomorph is), so devs had to do something so it wont be just Left 4 Dead but with xenomorphs. It also had fine Multiplayer i guess.

Yes, Isolation fulfilled every promise and this is why we love it also i want to say that Gearbox studio stole some money from Colonial Marines for Borderlands and this is one of problems that cause a disaseter in 2013 when the game came out.
I would love to examine one of those grenades the marines use. They look like they're the size of a large bullet yet they have a rather high exlosive yeild.

This trailer is basically the bug hunt DLC game mode lol. Sp they kind of fulfilled their promise. Just not for the campaign. Thank god they at least were able to make a game mode that fit with this trailer. Just a shame the whole game wasn't like this. Would've been awesome

That is a standard issue Grenade for the marines you get them in the campaign and the pulse rifle under barrel grenade launcher so yea standard issue throw grenade
God this game had so much potential, what a crying shame. I mean isn’t this what we all wanted? This trailer sums up exactly what a modern day aliens game should be and fans could only dream of! It was the perfect recipe simply ruined.
is there a way to download some AI improved or something, the trailer is awesome, the game is kind of good, but the AI of the computers.... is so bad you can legitly see the aliens unable to get to you... because there is a chair in the middle...
It wasn't a marine thats why it was one of the aliens. You can tell because it was far too high to even be trying to be a human scream you know what I mean.

10 years later this trailer is still great but so painful knowing what we really got. In a strange way does make me wish they would do an another RTS.
