- We were given the opportunity by Jon Birkmire, the creator and artist behind the Florida Adventure trail project to pre-run the trail prior to the release of the .GPX files to the public. Once released, you will have the opportunity to purchase and run these very same routes and trails. These routes take us through the most scenic and remote portions of the state of Florida and is mostly off road, with a small portion being paved, but through some historically significant portions! A portion of the proceeds goes to the Wounded Warrior Foundation as well!

I was wondering when someone would attempt to make a statewide trail system in Florida. I see a lot of familiar parts of Ocala and Osceola in there. Great job guys!

I agree that my teeth are not the best and I have fantastic dental at my full time job, however treatment results are limited. Due to some medical issues extremely early in my life (like birth time frame) I was on some meds that were super helpful, however severely impacted my teeth developmentally, severe staining, pitting etc. I know this is probably more than you asked for information wise, but just know, its not an oversight or hygiene issue on my part. We are actively looking into cost effective ways to remedy this! Thanks again!

I gave this video a thumbs up because of the content. I watched much of it on mute and then finally couldn't take the soundtrack any more and gave up. Hopefully there are more videos on the FAT without the mind-numbing, computer-generated soundtrack. For reference, no I'm not 15 years old, nor have I been for quite sometime.
I appreciate the thumbs up! Sorry you don't like the soundtrack, I'm a small channel and can't afford the paid music subscription services currently so am trying hard to make the free RUclips library work! But I do appreciate the feedback!

The trail itself spans the pan handle down to south of Ocala and back up and around like a loop. If you head over to www.floridaadventuretrail.com they have some great info on the trail. The footage is from Osceola National Forest and Lochloosa!

Agreed! We took a calculated risk and had many discussions prior to entry. There is a bypass. That's why we advocate for leaving ego at the trail head and only doing what you are capable of and feel comfortable doing!

I have to ask, why would you trail with your rear light bar on?
Ordinarily I would not. It's on there for backing up in camp after dark, or making sure there aren't any trip hazards (nearly broke my ankle one night at camp) or even turning around on tight trails not being sure what's just over the side of the trail!

Sadly, only a downloadable version exists at this time.

Portions are for sure! probably most of it. I would go with a friend, bring some basic recovery gear and stay out of the hard portions and you should be just fine!
