So satisfying, thank you for the effort in making a quality cinematic type adventure trail video. I know it takes alot of work to stop and record but it makes all the difference to get all those angled shots especially the drone! You got my subscription.
Trying to plan on doing the route on our motorcycles sometime early next year and this video is a big help. We love water crossings but some of these would swallow our bikes 😂
Osceola aside, the time you are planning to go should be pretty well dried up and most places along the trail do have bypasses for some of the water crossings. Our trip may not have been the best representation of it since Florida has been so saturated this year. 😅 We hope you have a great time on your trip!
I love your content, you should start sharing these on the various facebook off-road groups so people can start getting a feel for how excellent your videos are and really get those views to over 100k. Thanks again 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words! It turns out a lot of Facebook groups have restrictions and rules against posting your RUclips content on them. Do you possibly have any groups you’d recommend us try to post our videos in? We too would love to try and share them.
@@SunshineStateVikings I use this strategy for some unrelated projects of mine. i would use small 2 min clips with my RUclips Name at the bottom of the clip, a preview video if you will. Groups may not allow a youtube link but will allow the video clip . I have always thought your channel had great videos plus you have a great demeanor.
Awesome, you won’t be disappointed and we had a great time seeing some new places we hadn’t hit before. Thanks for the compliment as well! We look forward to seeing y’all tackle it and make your own adventure on it ✌️😃
From what we’ve seen the majority will be doable with a trailer. The second episode comes out this Monday and you’ll see some tight Ocala trails in that episode however the creator has made changes since then addressing the tight trails we navigated and the newer version is much more accessible.
We believe your right, while editing we were thinking it looked more like a Carolla as well, for sure the most lifted Carolla we’ve seen in person. I looked fun to drive though!
Nice video, I does seem that seasonal timing will be critical on this trail. Any reports on damage from Ian? Your comments on going with the flow are spot-on for this type of adventure. Planning is a fool's folly when you're off road. Being from western NC and running the trails in the Appalachian Mountains, I appreciate how level the campsites are.
Thanks for compliment and the questions! Seasonal timing is for sure going to be critical. To answer your question about damage from hurricane Ian, the weekend we filmed episodes 1 & 2 are two weeks before Ian came to Florida, if we come across damage from the hurricane it will be seen in episodes 3 and on.
Yes! Just need to do some proper planning around the weather and try to avoid the rainy seasons. Also we recommend to go with a buddy or have a reliable recovery setup. We did the majority of the trail in 2wd.
Oh it definitely does! There certainly has to be a level caution out on our Florida trails, we’ve run into our fair share of small looking holes being endlessly deep! The trails here on the Florida Adventure Trail are typically nice trails during most of the year, we just happened to start running the trail during the wettest part of the year. Happy adventuring ✌️😃
Definitely best to plan around the weather! Those super saturated trails we faced are totally ok trails during most of the year when we aren’t receiving nightly summer rains.
Sorry but it probably won’t as the creator of the FAT has set up a website for the distribution of the route via a downloadable GPX route. Here is the official website: www.floridaadventuretrail.com
Why does everyone make the music so damn loud? We don't want to hear music, we want to hear the sounds of you driving on rough roads and through the water with no music.
Thanks for the feedback! Honestly it’s a stylistic choice and we like to mold our footage the feel that the music selected is carrying. we also do understand what your talking about with wanting to hear more of the driving sounds as we have appreciated that in others videos we ourselves watch.

"The Water Park" in Osceola can be a tricky beast depending on rainfall. Looks like you guys had a great time! :)
It really is! This was by far one of the most flooded times we have been up in Osceola and that was right before hurricane Ian! 🌀
Great site kids. Being from Fl. I find these videos very exciting . .
Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying the videos 😊
Great video! Really enjoyed it. Good drone work, too!
I’m working on getting my 107 license right now for work, but will use it now for camping, too!
It’s crazy how good these drones have gotten. We love using them for storytelling.
Appreciate all the effort that goes into those rolling shots. Your videos are a visual treat.
Thanks for the compliments on the shots! We are always trying to step up the quality in our content so that means a lot to us! ✌️😃

Def going to be put on my list to do this trail! Nice drone footage as usual!

@@SunshineStateVikings the trail looks fairly easy, would a person have any issues with a small camper trailer? Like a 5x10?

@@SunshineStateVikings sweet, thanx for the info
I see a lot of familiar places. Most trails off the main roads around Big Gum get really wet and deep. I'm looking forward to riding the FAT!
Great video, so what’s everyone’s tick prevention ??
I was wondering about your setup on the truck? Can u share?
Looks like a corolla, no wonder it got stuck lol
We believe your right, while editing we were thinking it looked more like a Carolla as well, for sure the most lifted Carolla we’ve seen in person. I looked fun to drive though!
This looks like a blast. What do you think about AWD unibody trucks doing this, like Honda Ridgeline or Ford Maverick (lifted of course)?
You would be fine as long you keep the time of year in mind when planning to run the route. We did 99% of the route in 2 wheel drive!

Hi do you think this trail will be ok if you have a 2wd tacoma?
Yes! Just need to do some proper planning around the weather and try to avoid the rainy seasons. Also we recommend to go with a buddy or have a reliable recovery setup. We did the majority of the trail in 2wd.
Yeah, I'll think I'll be waiting till February/March to run those soggy sections.
February/ march would be ideal times to hit the Florida Adventure Trail. Still a little cool and just coming out of hunting season.
Snorkel earned its keep on this trip
Do you think a stock Tacoma TRD off-road could complete the trail?
Believe me when I say that the water gets DEEPER

@@SunshineStateVikings I took an old Land Rover through there about six years ago during a night ride and holy sh*t. Nightmare fuel!!

Probably wait for dry season waaayy to much water for my taste, lol.
