Yes can definitely feel the restriction, its booked in for the custom system in about a week or so!

At my humble opinion this is a real great project, if the Caddy was a 4 wheel drive for sure could been absolutely gorgeous. In my imaginary i had thinked to swap the engine of the Caddy with a engine os a Golf R32 but i never imaginated to using a engine of a TTRS. May be cuold be possible to use a Golf R engine but with a 4 whell drive Caddy. I'm sorry but 4 wheel drive is an obsession of mine

Merge an RS3 bumper with a original bumper, so the bottom of the bumper is rs3 and top is the original. Would look sick 😅
I think you should keep the wheels. 255s will help you put the power down better
You can run the tt wheels the problem you'll have on the back is the tyres might rub against the chassis with them being wide, 235/35s normally the standard for 19s on a caddy I run s6 19s 9j et52 on mine and that brake like just needs to be pulled sideways abit and clamped further out.
Sweet caddy and even sweeter unit iron out the weak points she will be fun 👍

Is the thonk when changing gears from the dogbone mount? I'd find that heavy annoying like, cool fucking project though. Can't wait til you install the haldex into it. Also just an idea, but maybe make a bracket for the brake line so it doesn't rub.
Get a TSI cluster, maybe even a premium one with a color screen instead of black and white maxidot screen. I can get you in contact with some people who can code it for you!

That interior needs a bit of a lift! I know it’s a ‘works van’ 😂 but some nice seats and a load of alcantara and leather with some cool stitching would make the driving experience!

Looks to go well mate. Banded steelies for the wheel choice imo with a chrome vw centre cap. Hope the ticking etc isn't something sinister, maybe injector seals? Once hot block expanding and seal not sealing 100%

Love the car and it has given me a few ideas for something to tow my bikes with here in Australia. I am a bit perturbed by the gearbox crunches though. As much as I love manuals, is there a DSG that would fit in the conversion?

Asalamo alekum bro MASHA ALLAH nice video I am having a problem with my golf 5gti dsg multitrinic paddle shift running stage 2 with 76mm down pipe resonator deleted car drove awesome a whole year but 2months ago my car started to misfire after a rough driving on manual and sports mode on a high way but as soon I get to busy traffic roads and driving on d mode the car starts to mk a push when shifting and misfire at times changed spark plugs misfire was gone but other issue of driving on D mode after rough driving the push and power should still decrease went to diagnose only evap related codes were captured incorrect air purge flow replaced N80 valve and evap canister code didn't return but problem remained the same removed manifold cleaned intake valves no positive response started with fuel related replacing intake fuel pump high pressure fuel sensor new cam follower even though old1 was not worn swoped high pressure fuel pump and still no results then I was told to disconnect o2 bank1 sensor and test drive as bank2 sensor is off by map tuning by disconnecting the o2 sensor car drive like a dream problem fully sorted but after replacing the o2 sensor the car is again doing the same 😢😢😢😢 even replaced pcv valve I am so frustrated Kasam I don't know what to do anymore saw ur video and now thinking maybe it's my coils bcs the mechanic only could find misfire by one coil and replaced 1 and other coils r weak too after getting to maximum heat after rough driving and if I let it cool for a while then it's OK to drive on D mode sm1 said u must switch the o2 sensor off by the tuner and drive like that but my concern the whole year car was driving fine with only 2nd sensor switched off😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 please bro help im a big fan of urs and watch al ur videos which encouraged me to do stage 2 and downpipe with pop and bangs now im sitting with a sore heart after spending such a bunch of money i still cant get my problem sorted neither these so called experts 😢😢😢😢😢😢

Hey Hamza, I had the similar noise in my EA113 Gti 2.0 TFSI…I’ve checked the oil, it was a little down from the middle…so I’ve put around 0,2L and the noise was gone and never came back.
Are you going to raffle the van at the end of the project?
Take it to vw retrofit, get some scirocco R clocks in there

I was working on a s6 with a mate it also had a weird ticking noise. Turns out it was a solenoid for the vacuum crap.

Great to see it running fast 5 pot van awesome 😂 Just a thought on the ticking noise it may be a sticking hydraulic lifter , tfsi engines that sit for a while without running or that has really long gaps between oil changes can have cam tick , if fixed mine after 3 engine oil flushes with liquimoly engine flush , best of luck looking forward to the next instalment 😊
the banging on the gearchanges is sounding like the engine and box moving think you need to check all the engine and box mounts
FYI wheel offsets actually change with the width of the wheel so it could fit worse or better with the same ET but different J widths.
