I was reading Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter the other day and Fif said he interned at Columbia Records.. while being signed to Columbia Records! His music wasn’t being pushed right so he wanted to see how things worked. He saw first hand how things were working on a mainstream level and he also knew what was going on as far as how the streets were getting access to music. It was a combination of strategy and being resourceful in a bad situation. Really impressive!
