Yup. Fuckin' bastards. I deal with them on the regular. Suit and tie, quiet, emotionless, but so ruthless. I sometimes stand back and think if they have any humanity left. One signature and they will ruin a person's career, life, without batting an eye.

I’ve learned this with lawyers, insurance companies, medical industry and college lenders.
Lawyers will convince you to keep fighting a case they know you will lose. They are milking you to keep paying them. When they lose they say aww I'm sorry but you still have to pay me.

The lawyer will convince you that you can still win the alimony or child custody even if he thinks you cant. So you will have to pay him. What your saying might be true if you sue someone but not for all cases.

And to make it worse they do it through means to make it look legal or complicated. This puts the person they're victimizing into questioning whether what happened was actually even wrong, fill the victim with self-doubt about their own judgment, etc.

Business is ruthless when you work and do business with the wrong kinds of people. Do business with moral, ethical, and honest people, they will give you a fair shake. The hard part is finding those people. J. Paul Getty said that you don’t want to be known as the person who always gets whatever they want out of deals and exploits people. Because no one wants to do business with you anymore.

That’s very true. Lawyers are a prime example. The fees they charge rob you of your benefits. They then “justify” it with the “work” they put in when in actuality you the “client” did the work for them. 🙄
After a compensation claim that I won my lawyer charged me $9000. $1000 of that was for photocopies.

Bruh, he's not talking about violence, 'throwin' hands', threats to do so or even raising your voice. "not conditioned for direct conflict" means they are surprised and shocked if you resist or push back. They think what their doing is 'normal', 'just business', 'how things are done' and they "...didn't make the rules". They are usually part of an exploitative system, they may or may not be aware of how they benefit from robbing you, either way, they want to keep their jobs, get a promotion, make money etc.

That's why you get a good lawyer and give him the contract to read before you sign anything. Once the contract is to your satisfaction then sign it. No brainer really.

Screw being rich. Wealth is vanity. Someone else will enjoy what you worked so hard to get. I can't imagine dealing with those people 50 mentions. Its all dust, everything will fade away and the next generation will come and forget you ever existed. I'd rather be broke asf and fear God than to believe in a world that won't remember me in a hundred years.
It's about you having the freedom to live how you want to, yes it's vanity but it's nessary to be free in the small time we call life, so in that time you can't have something like money get in the way of that time/Freedom, getting rich the most straight forward way with dealing with such issues
Let's not act like money hasn't changed humanity for the better too. Had it not been for money, we wouldn't be watching these videos, or having the technology to even comment like this to each other from all across the world. I too want to be wealthy but do i need to have 50 mil or even 10 mil? No, i am happy with what i make right now and content with it.
