One thing you need to think about is that water will go the path of least resistance. That is probably why it has extended into the tree areas. I really don't think that the dam is leaking. You would see evidence of it below the dam. If you have rodents in that tent and black mold, everything is not salvageable. You can't get black mold out easily or rodent urine. Think about your family, don't bring it home. Of course, by the time this is posted it is what it is. So this is future information and information for your viewers. Take care everyone. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've been living in my tent in central Queensland for nearly 3 years now. It has it's down sides lol, but basically if you think of an African safari camp, then that's what I'm dealing with. I'm retired army and I live on a property much like yours, but only 100 acres in size. Most of my neighbours have similar properties and just like you they don't visit them much as they get busy with life, so they have me maintain them. I keep an eye on storm damage, fences, wells etc while tooling around in my 20 year old Ford ute or my old Kubota tractor. Seeing the ranch again is nice, especially comparing what it looked like originally.

Hi from New Zealand with what you got for a hunting house you only have a 2 hour drive to your hunting block it's nothing. Weekend hunting trips. With all the corn you could also feed the waterfowl with it, for your season. Build duck blinds around your big lake. You could of built a Island in the middle of the pond and built a big blind on it.
There's cactus everywhere! I live in northern Michigan and we have cactus growing naturally here too. I see it on the state land that is near me. It likes sandy soil.
People are always flabbergasted when they find out we have native Cacti here in Oregon, too. We also have 6 species of scorpion. 😂 Me and my mom found some prickly pears on a abandoned open property when i was a kid down the road from our house, so we dug one up, took a cutting off another, and planted them in our backyard. Looks like the same variety we had here there at your ranch.

You should film during planting and field work for food plots for sure I think a lot of people would enjoy the process it takes to get everything ready for hunting season
You can eat Cactus grill or raw. they call them Nopales in Mexico. Cut the thorns off then cut the cactus in strip and grill. I cook mine with eggs and make burritos. If you eat it raw pick the small new cactus. They taste better.

Weird idea but an idea that might be worth considering. Get the ranch all cleaned up and finish some projects. Use it as an airbnb hunter resort. Since you love pretty far away making it an airbnb would allow you to only need to come to the ranch whenever you decide and it can get the usage and love it deserves. Plus another money source. With Airbnb if you want to use it for videos family time etc, you just simple not accept or close the airbnb in the timeframes you want it for. I would do anything for this price of property. If you need a name, I’m a big fan of Buttermilk Ranch it’s been showing its presence through the rest of the comment section

Definitely keep the ranch forever! Also a few things I would do is add water holes in the plots. You can bury them up to the rim and add a stick for critters to get out. When the corn is ready you can mow some of that and then leave the rest standing. Everything looks great now it's time to get cameras up and inventory. Do you have big Feeders? Crush makes some really good ones by Lee and Tiffany. You should have them come check the ranch out and give you ideas. BUT DONT SELL IT TO THEM lol keep it in the flair fam.

You would most likely find the water level in the hatcheries will be the same height as the water in the lake. The lake water will be seeping through the ground.

He unfortunately had to sell that property when he bought the old jerky warehouse. Probably sold the camper with it and decided not to lease the rest anymore because the duck hunting was bad
Yo FLAIR and guys love the videos!! You should totally try a video where you take a tent and use gorilla glue spray (or flex seal spray) and apply a nice layer or two for a light move able tent/deer blind, maybe give it that camo blast job. (Meaning shoot it with camo color paint balls)

You definitely should do some more HotTent and Trapping videos at the Ranch yal also should Hunt Wolves,Foxes on the Ranch and you should get a Hog Trap so yal can do some Hog Hunting as well. Those are prickly pear cactus and they grow all the way up into MN! Have them on the granite outcroppings near me.

You may might want to look into Dekalb ‘s seed corn. They have a short corn that is a lot shorter than traditional corn but acts like regular corn.

If your doing all the work of putting food plots for big deer get fly traps telling you it makes a difference the deer are going to stay all summer
