    Enjoyed this video so much I watched it twice! Nice to see you releasing the breeder trout 👍 looks like we won’t be doing any fishing in Florida this weekend as Mother Nature is going to dump rain on us for the next couple of days. Tight lines ole boy! Have a great weekend. 👍🇺🇸🙏

      Yeah my best friend lives in Sarasota. We were talking about how nasty it’s gonna get here. Maybe 50/75 gust. But as far as trout if I typically will release the big ones unless they’re gut hooked then it’s pointless to throw them back. I rarely eat fish. My friends and neighbors get it if they know I’m going.

      And thank you for watching. It’s cool to see the videos making it to other states.

      Appreciate it. For whatever reason the wife never hooked up on one. Plenty of thumps and near misses.

    Y'all had a great day on the water!! I'm gonna hit SW creek here in a few weeks and see how the trout are fairing up there. The only thing I do differently fishing the 17 is, as soon as it hits the water I give it a quick twitch then let it fall. Tight Lines Brother! Hopefully this freeze coming next week won't last long enough to bother them.

      Went this morning. They’re were stacked but lock jawed. But yeah I’ll throw a twitch after a couple of seconds with other baits but its funny how they always change how they want it. Good luck man wear em out.

    • @Big88Country
      @Big88Country Год назад +1

      When trout get lock jawed you won't have anything in the box to reverse that! I was fishing once all day and it was sprinkling, just a mist really, and never got a strike, but I KNEW the trout were there. As soon as it stopped sprinkling, 20 minutes later we were all limited out. This was back when 12 was the limit. It was like a feeding frenzy, they were hitting everything! Appreciate your videos Brother, keep them coming!!@@SlackTidesFishing

      Appreciate the comment. The creek I’m in isn’t really tidal as much as it’s wind driven. But I do fish some creeks that if it’s slack you can forget about it lol.

    Ok just wanted to add that the skin series “Mullet” isnt exactly new, its my wifes favorite MR 17. She has boated quite a few nice specks over the last year with one. But I do enjoy watching your content!

      I guess they came out about a year ago but recently showed up here at my tackle shop in Cedar Point. Thank you for tuning in. It’s appreciated. Tight lines!
