Hi. I bought it 2 weeks ago and my comments are identically the same as in this video. Its an awesome family car not only for journeys but for city short distances too. Believe me a distance of e.g. 3km in order to take children at school will be the pleasantest experienceof your day. You wish that it takes more time to reach your destination !!! From Cyprus
Hi there Anna!! ☺Nice surprise for my Saturday. 🤩Just banged over to you from watching a sales video/drive of a beautiful 1972 Plymouth Road Runner. A bit of a contrast to say the least, although that car was also red. Looks like you had a very productive winter filming videos over in Poland. 🌨❄
Anna...you've added suspenders to your outfit, nice! Not since Paula Abdul in the "Straight Up" video have I seen a girl pull off that look, but then again when don't you dress good💯 This Renault reminds me of those BMW and Mercs with that sloped look in the rear but looks better at the same time! Overall this is actually pretty sharp lookin'😎
I might be wrong ... but you where driving the Full Hybrid... ( there's no plugin version availlable ) The Full Hybrid you where driving is able to drive completely electric. It actually has the 1.6 atmosperic engine, an electric motor and additional a starter/generator with additional 12V battery with combined a total of 145 HP Then you have the Mild Hybrid versions where you have the 1.3 turbo petrol engine with the starter/generator, again with additional 12V battery (mild hybrid) with 140 HP and 160 HP. But full electric driving is not possible. The starter/generator is just there to assist the petrol engine to reduce emissions and fuel consumption. As far as I'm informed, the Full Hybrid verion is a little slower but more economical. The mild Hybrid versions are a little more spicy but consume more fuel. Important to mention is that neither engine setup is able to drive really sports like. But are more then sufficient for daily driving. Hope I could help 🙃
@@Chris-df5gc maybe in other countries it's called different. I live in Belgium and here's a distinction between the Full Hybrid (as shown in the video) and the Mild Hybrid version I have now. But I have noticed that there are some differences depending on what market the Arkana is sold. Maybe where Anna was testing this Arkana, it is called a Mild Hybrid because it's not a plugin. Here in Belgium it's called a Full Hybrid because it can drive fully electric and the Mild Hybrid can not. Nevertheless it's a very nice review ... And as a sidenote... after driving my Arkana RS Line now for 7 months ... I'm still very happy with the car. It has 160Hp and I must say ... I'm loving every moment in it 🤓
Hi Anna, When/where was this latest review filmed - it was slightly over 40 degrees out here in California today?! Car’s a bit of a snooze-fest, but I’d still watch you review a shopping trolley. Hate to see you go, love to watch you leave!
Good review Anna.👍 It's waaaaaay underpowered! 😳 Styling is okay, interior is bland. Thanks though for reviewing these rare European brands. Separates your channel from the rest. 👍
Thank you Anna for this video and for letting me see a new model from Renault, because I have never seen this model before. This is despite the fact that Renault has had a test facility in Kiruna for at least 40 years. It was a different model from Renault it is appealing but the color of the interior is deterrent, as I hate black interior as it gets so dark and gloomy.
Another great review Anna again with super photography and editing. From my rather limited experience the French have a knack at making the cars comfortable to drive without feeling like driving a mattress when the road gets twisty. Although this car isn't currently for me I do like it and appreciate what Renault has set out to achieve. Thanks for sharing.
Nice surprise to see you new video out today and I'm definitely not complaining. Excellent review Anna. You are dedicated to your job working in -10c. The French definitely know how to make a stylish and practical car and it shows in the Arkana. Really like the looks of the Arkana with its sloping back like a Sports Back. I guess all cars with a sloping back has a reduce visibility from the back. Mind you I get confused with the Sports Back, Shooting Break and the like. What is the difference? The interior looks solid and practical but I'm not to sure with the looks entertainment system but its not as bad as the Mustang E were it looks like a massive iPad slapped on it dashboard. Great MPG like you said that's what you want with a hybrid. All in all a very good car. Excellent review and a brilliant video as always. All the best Anna.
To quickly sum up: We don’t get French cars here in USA so this just adds to General knowledge, but your presentation is outstanding as per usual I especially love you shirt combined with the suspenders!!! There was the Usual mention of DeBoot so that was consistent and comforting!! Thanks again as we evolve into “the Less I More” era, still anticipating something ReallyFast
"likely to give the car in front of you a little cuddle"......LOL!! you do have some good one liners Anna. Love the bracers. Don't quite get how it's that cold for the last 3 video's. It's summer there, in Poland. No SUI video's anymore? Anyway, as for the car, nice, not great. Hate the 21' iMac on the dash. What do car manufactures think these days??

Hi :-) Thank you for commenting! Such a great stylish car and still very unique! I've seen it recently in orange and loved it!
Oh yesssss. Orange is its colour but for Cyprus sun 11 months in the year I bought white.
And this is what we call perfection
And that’s enough about Anna
Lovely 😎🙏
Great review as always 👌👍
Definitely a nice little Frenchie. Renault certainly doing well in keeping up with the Germans. Super informative review Anna.
Don't believe I've ever seen you in suspenders. The look suits you. But you always look nice so not unexpected. 😎
Can't believe it is snowing in Poland. It's cooking here.
Agree re that trim level making the best of its features. Thanks fir a superb video.

Hi Freddy, I was driving the MHEV :-)
yeah, in the video is definitly not the mild hybrid

Nice to see something a little different, even if it is French! Nice braces by the way, very natty.

The one you drive is not a mild hybrid, it's a full hybrid. Mild hybrid RS has pale shifts and different gear box

How long does it take to edit a video? We are in Summer and you are wearing a Winter coat?
I like to take my time

I just want say all the right things❤️
This model you have the is NOT MHEV it is HEV, the other model or Arkana's are MHEV having 1,33l petrol engine giving ether 140 ps or 160 ps...
It’s a beautiful car from the front
I’m not a big fan of the back
it consume 1,6 liter onlly if you push it by hands 80km and rest of 20km goes on mix of el. and gas
New thought. I'm looking at a high rise Laguna. Only slower.
Yesss👍💥🔥
Hello Anna. I hope you are well.
Hi Tim, I am, thank you!
Come on Anna - 8:32 "Pedal to the metal" and Your speed is lowering from 62 to 58 😃
