"I have tried to pull it apart. After all, I am Polish!" 😂 Classic Anna! 🤣 I've got a mental block, as far as BMW is concerned, which goes back to owning one in my early twenties (which is ridiculous, given how long ago that was!). The ride was just too stiff, for how I'd use a saloon; and that's been the case every time I've driven one since. Also, I heard they tried charging a subscription for heated seats, which, irrespective of the affordability, is reason enough to boycott them, for me. I hope they corrected that nonsense?
Hello Anna!!! Well, I'm user and fan of Mercedes Benz, but I found an interesting BMW car. The quality inside looks fantastic and I liked you press the dash to see if it moves and nothing happened. Mercedes Benz has an issues with that test. The paint colour has that unit is awesome. Seems to be very stable and nice to drive, the M bage has something to say about it. The boot capacity is great. The only thing that I don't feel close to me is the shape, I'm use to smooth lines and more aerodynamic forms than to a rectangular ones. But in the end is a german car and I didn't come here to doubt about it. Your look to the mirror is... crazy!!! Have an amazing Sunday and see you next time!!! Bye!!!
“I like to pull it apart…because I’m Polish after all” 😂 Great “personal sized” vehicle. I must be getting older but the small & mid-sized luxury SUV market is becoming my favorite automotive segment
Not hideous, but it could've been a home run with a bit more work. The rear end was the deal breaker for me when I chose to pass on it. The interior is pretty nice and definitely better than the g45 x3. Nice review as always.
Hi Anna! Glad to be back checking out your reviews! Well, not too keen on SUVs,as there are so many, and most are pretty boring. This one has promise though, and sounds and looks good in that lovely blue.Still prefer a saloon, the Audi RS3 being my car of choice right now..These two must be in a similar price range l should think,so l know what l'd have given the choice! Another impeccable review Anna.Thoroughly enjoyed it❤️👍!
Hi Anna! Funny that you already come up with something new. Of course, the BMW X2 - M35i is nice, but I, who am Swedish and like station wagons, do not like that it is a hatchback, as the boot space will be smaller, and I think the rear part will be ugly. Then the thing that I have difficulty with, when you were born in the 60s and are used to analog instruments and not this long screen. I have been driving old American cars from the 50's and 60's and loved these dashboards and their shape the different cars had.
I liked the new X2 when it was announced, loved it when i saw it in the dealership. It surely is a lovely coupe SUV that has character and distinguish itself on the road. Lovely presentation Anna !
It's ok. My counterpoint. It is not attractive...unlike beautiful Anna, its frumpy looking. It doesn't have BMW's best engine which is the turbo I-6 aka B58 M engine. And for those considering a matte paint finish, don't. Any common light scratching can't be polished out. Only recourse if lightly scratched, is to repaint the body panel which is very expensive. Spend a little more if you must have a BMW SUV and buy the X3 M40i. All BMW's depreciate massively, so find one, CPO with low miles at a fraction of MSRP off lease and thank me later.
This might be one of those vehicles that dont show well in a video but looks great in person. I thought the 2024 M2 was ugly in videos and decided to get the M240 but once i saw the M2 in the showroom the M240 was out and the M2 is what sits in my garage right now. Whats ugly to me is that new corvette thats freakin ugly.
It’s a decent looking car (infact really nice by modern Beemer standards) apart from the rear though. Does it remind you of a Renault Arkana? I also don’t like the modern trend of just screwing the infotainment/ drivers info to a flat dashboard to save a bit of money. Make an effort and mould it in properly please BMW!
Hi Anna, I know you are a big fan of BMW’s but even you can’t persuade me on this X2. I’m sure the drive is great but it’s not much of a looker from any angle and can you really have an SUV coupe? The design team at BMW needs a rethink, I think 🤔 Great review as ever and I love the house 🏠 😊
It's a mum&dad + 2.5 kids fugly af-mobile. ..and like you said Anna 'plastic fantastic'. Even the higher-end models are a sea of nasty plastics that will go brittle, fade and break under UV after 10 years. Their cars are not made-to-last anymore - that manufacturer ethic was lost a long time ago. BMW, what the hell happened??
I drove one of those suv's with a cheeseplate car wide infotainment system for work primarely during the nights. Whoever thought of this nonsense... Just like led headlights not all trends are progressive and more safe. Cars nowadays are loaded with annoying safety nannys, but a simple thing as having no screen reflection in the side windows is to much to ask. This reflection in side windows often makes thins harder to see, especially during rainy nights. Car is a monstrosity.
I just saw it and couldn't believe there was a BMW logo at the back. Because the break lights look out of Chevy cars. Soooo ugly 😅 now, BMW takes the cake away from Toyota for ugly car design.
@KingdomSilverStar I was just at hendrick bmw last week to place my december order for my M240 and in the showroom was a X2 and i think its pretty freakin nice i dont thing there is a bad looking panel on it and that interior is really freakin nice. But like all BMWs it is pricy.

Hello Anna, how have you been? It’s been awhile since we have chatted, but I must say that I’m actually feeling this smaller BMW X2 M35i. The stance of their vehicle commands respect because it has that aggressive look, and I do actually like the color. This ‘BMW looks good on you’ and the quickness seems impressive. I think you should coin the phrase “plastic fantastic” because it sounds so genuine when you say it.
