I grew up with this doll. I remember the wonderful quality of the clothes. I miss that. I still have my bubble cut Barbie that my mom gave me when I was five. She was my first fashion doll.🙂

6:25 I love the fact that on the newer repro’s and vintage style bodies, Mattel actually made the shape of the hands like the classic original ones. With the separated fingers. Those early reproductions (like the 90’s ones) they had those ugly hands which had to resemble the original hands, but the fingers were molded together. Now they look like they should! These are the details we love! This whole doll looks 100% Classic quality Mattel and I would love to own her, but I’m WAY to late! Haha! (The new doll for this year… those accessories look just sublime too!)
The Christmas tree is supposed to be the old Atlantic Mold Company ceramic tree with lights that actually lit up. The mugs are supposed to be Holt Howard Santa mugs.
The Santa mugs look just like a set that my Great Grandmother painted in the 50s or 60s! I think they are based off of an actual vintage set!! so Cool!
