    Self entitled Tipper driver knew exactly what he was doing and I bet does this on a daily basis.

      Yes I'll bet you're right as it's a regular traffic jam and it turned out he was very local with their depot only a few minutes away.

    That tipper was a perfect impersonation of a tall gangly man carrying a scythe I’ve seen on RUclips recently.

      Yes I was shocked by him. So were Hansons too as he got kicked out, even though he'd disguised his numberplate the name of the operator was captured in the original. Lucky he didn't clean up another queue jumper driving down the hard shoulder. All the best David.

      Wow, good news indeed. That reminds me, I saw one of your videos on another driving video on RUclips, instantly knew it was yours as it was going up past Chapel. The disguising of number plates was brought home to me last night. I was parked in a lay-by at the end of the M3 just before the traffic cameras and a lorry pulled in, took his plates off and carried on into London. Sadly my dashcam had turned off.

    You are always so nice to other road users...too bad others can't think about others as well. Those lights were daft!! Someone really had their head up where it is dark when they thought that would work well!! Highway Maintenance drivers are horrible!! That guy was looking to kill someone!! Your convo following the caravan was hysterical!! Totally terrified to drive the dumb thing, no clue as to the size and the just know there will be a big bill if they wreck!! I figured they would get on the motorway doing 30ish - was I right? Have a lovely week!!

      I'm going to say you're right regarding that motorhome/caravan/RV I didn't hang around at his speed to find out, just ridiculous driving that was. The guy that was looking to kill someone was shocking. I sent the footage to the company and the driver was kicked out. Had a few angry words from one of his mates a few months later as we were waiting on the same job. It was a firm that was on franchise to the larger firm and he said I should have contacted the haulage firm and they'd have had a word with the driver. I just said to him that I think we both know that was never going to happen because we all know if someone calls with a complaint most just ignore it, most likely after saying oh thank you very much for letting us know we'll have a word with him. In the original video I point out that his license plate was smeared with mud so it could not be read, however my camera picked up the operators company name in small print on the door. I did mention to his mate that he should be thankful that I didn't contact the Police! He walked off at that. For a moment during our conversation I thought he was going to get physical as he was starting to get a bit animated with his arms helping him to get his points across! All the best and take care.

    First up, the "entitlement" with that one is strong... Oblivion would be a great destination... for them! 🤣🤣
    0:45 They didn't see a zebra, so there's no way they're going to stop for the pedestrians.
    1:11 That was ridiculous. Lucky for him, there wasn't an ambo or bike coming down the shoulder. Wouldn't be lucky for them, though.
    If you look up "Koda (or Khoda) Mokbel Sydney" you'll see some terrifying tipper driving. This clown was half on the incorrect side, straddling the double lines, then overtakes three cars, with oncoming traffic forced into the dirt to avoid a head on. Something that has to be seen to be believed. When he was caught the following morning, he was loaded with coke... no, not the drink.
    Then a mood changer... Rex is back! 👍🏼👍🏼🤣🤣 The woman in the office was having a good laugh. Job done! 👍🏼👍🏼
    I can't help but laugh, as you find the oncoming boy & girl racers, whizzing around those blind bends... on those narrow lanes... All I see is a lot of "damaged" seats! 🤣🤣
    7:12 Or see a tractor & truck coming the other way! 🤣🤣 At least you're ready for them!
    19:13 A Clown House! That was painful to watch. Plenty of them here. Originally light rigids, "dumbed down" for those with car licences. Not the best idea, that's for sure.

    • @cloudmaker
      @cloudmaker  Месяц назад +1

      Another great comprehensive missive Kevin. As for meeting the tractor and truck together I was already primed as you see so many drivers racing down these lanes and they'll hardly ever meet a truck coming the other way, the tractor driver wasn't expecting me which is why his machine trimmed those branches on his side. A clown house is a very good description. All the best Kevin.

    Unbelievable that Hanson’s tipper could do with going up in front of the traffic commissioner and explain why they needed to do that . The temporary lights on that daul carriageway what a joke . Just love narrow road driving you can’t believe some of the things people expect you to be able to with large vehicle . All the best hope you have a great week.

      Hello Norm, I was not going to work today but got called up in desperation as 4 drivers had not turned up this morning, so ended up in the traffic jams from the festival weekend. First load should only have been a 20 minute run, turned out to be over the hour! Had some narrow lanes today, you just know it's going to be good when it's unsuitable for HGV's! Hanson tipper was a franchise firm, the driver was kicked out of Hansons the following week. One of his mates got a bit upset with me about it a couple of months later, telling me I should have contacted the operator directly and they'd have sorted it out. I told him we both knew that was never going to happen, most complainants just get ignored. After a few more words I told him his mate was lucky I hadn't called the police, he walked off back to his wagon then. Strangely he didn't wave back when he left! Have a good week yourself Norm, I'm loaded for Penkridge in the morning with delivery time of 7.30am.

      Rex gets lots of different reactions ranging from joy to wonder, some have even tried to offer him treats before they realised he is so well trained he'd never take food from a stranger! Actually that's just reminded me, last year a bloke took pity on us parked on a job for 4 hours or so as he kept coming by, so he called at a fish and chip shop and bought fish and chips for me and the dog! 😂🤣🤣🤣I've got some footage somewhere but never made a video of it...yet! He wasn't one of Hansons within a week of me sending the original video to them. He had mud smeared over his number plate so you could not read it but my camera picked up the operators name in small print on the side. You can not go about doing that stuff in a lorry, you could so easily kill someone at worst or most likely cause an accident at least. All the best.

      It does sound a bit like 'that' doesn't it. Definitely a reference to the great Ashley Neal. He's shown a few of my videos over the years and most helpfully sent an analysis email for my insurers after my crash with the Police car, mind you in the actual analysis video he did say I must do better! Yes a good job sheep don't drive but with some it seems they already do! Motorhome man just incompetent in that vehicle, they ought to have basic training before let out on the road, especially in such expensive vehicles. All the best Graham.

    • @cloudmaker
      @cloudmaker  Месяц назад +1

      Hello Sarah, Rex doesn't like getting his paws wet, unlike our other dogs who always loved it, Bob was a renowned tunneller in snow drifts, whereas Dan would jump into them and try to eat as much as he could! Dan was the real forerunner in the lorry to Rex, travelling with me most days, he was relegated to the bonnet though when I'd got one or two kids with me too! As an aside here I'll just mention my Dad who we lost recently, his handle on the CB radio was Double Decker, due to the amount of us kids that were in with him! That motorhome/caravan driver really was diabolical, no wonder they are such a nuisance on the road. Good job there's loads of moby's on the road, or there'd be nothing to film! All the best Sarah.

      @cloudmaker  Месяц назад +1

      Hello old, quite old, very old Simon, yes that quote does age you! 😉😂🤣🤣That was the only way we did it, back up the ramps and tip into spreader. I think it's largely stopped now due to time constraints on lorries and that you can have much larger wagons delivering the lime if it's tipped straight up. Of course it also means the spreader doesn't have to wait for loads to be delivered he can turn up once it's all there so can get the job done quicker. Thank you for the comment Simon and bringing back memories of my youth. All the best.

    How many so called safe car drivers would there be on the the roads if they had to sit a class 2 driving test never mind class 1 ? As for the moron in the camper van, those people should be made to do some sort of on site training session before being allowed out on the roads. Your normal car driver has no idea how much bigger these camper vans are compared to a car. I passed my motorbike test, car test and class 2 test all first time but, one of my first class 2 jobs was driving a rigid chassis extended by 1.5 meters to carry 3 stillages of large panels of glass through Newcastle. It was an absolute nightmare with car drivers so busy on their mobile phones that they had no idea how space I needed to maneuver bends that would normally be easy in a standard length class 2 vehicle. Driving a large vehicle means you have to watch for everybody else regardless of who has right of way etc. Enjoyed your video though as it shows how careful and courteous most L/HGV drivers are.

    • @cloudmaker
      @cloudmaker  24 дня назад

      Thank you very much for this comment Jim I enjoyed reading it. I've never had to do much looking out for folks because of swing out in my line of work but am well aware of others with them. Hey I passed all them first time too, snap! Although I passed my car test on crutches from a motorbike crash! Bought a new bike to celebrate the same day! If car drivers had to sit a class 2 test there'd be a great deal less cars on the road! I am in complete agreement about RV drivers doing some form of training before taking to the roads, it's not just the size of them compared to a car but how that extra weight makes them handle too. Glad you liked the video Jim and thank you for saying so, all the best and have a great week.

      Also passed bike, car, PSV and class1 HGV first time in the days when there were 3 classes of HGV Class 3,which was 2 axle ridged, class 2 Multi axle ridged, and class1 Artics, and you could take class1 straight from car,
