Great setup again, man! Really enjoyed watching this progress over the years. I've said it before and I'll say it again: your setup has influenced my strategy for my own setup (with a few tweaks). The details and professionalism is always appreciated. Great work.
Cool set up, however.... some aesthetic tweaks needed IMO. Personally, I would get some black/white (any colour you want) plastic strips to go across the front of the shelving. The zig zag metal looks harsh. I would also be tempted to paint the shelving the same colour, I just think metal looks cold, industrial and ugly. Then some mood lighting for effect to finish off. Turn the main light off, crank on the mood lighting and sit in amazement! LED strips would work a treat ;-)
Been seeing this setup evolve for years now. I think I first saw picks on Digital Press. Keep it going!!! I would add a PSP hooked up via component if you haven't done so...
I would still be active at DP but have lost my login info. As for the PSP, I have the component cables, but only use them to capture review footage. I do not like to play it up on the big screen.
Nice update on your awesome setup. Thanks for the great ideas, I stole the one for the switching power strips!;). No more phantom power draw from my classic systems at least!
This room is very impressive. Wish i had the room in my room to make a setup layed out like that. Great video. I make gaming videos my self not so much room tour videos because my room looks like utter shit. But, thanks for this video your room looks badass. I love how you have your consoles setup.
For speakers I would highly recommend the Sharp XLHF102B. It is a 50 watt stereo and it has amazing sound quality. To set it up with your system I would take the left and right channel rca inputs from the tv and plug them into the back of the system, just for convenience so you don't need another switch box. Here's an Amazon link to them www.amazon.com/Sharp-XLHF102B-Component-MicroSystem-Bluetooth/dp/B00XWIVTXY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491075292&sr=8-1&keywords=sharp+stereo
There could have been a number of problems and in some cases, individual parts and all the tools to swap them would cost more money than just getting a new console, especially a gamecube since they're at rock bottom price at the moment
Hey have you heard about the HD Retrovision cables? You can get component video out of Genesis, Master System, SNES, and TG16 (with use of a dbGrafxBooster) without any convertor boxes or anything
Very, very cool set-up! So jealous! Not that I'm not happy with mine or anything. I know how you feel faulty systems. I have a broken Game Gear and my XBox acts up to. Sometimes when I'm playing it, it would shut off by itself, etc. I need to find someone to repair it...and my game gear as well. my Master System, model 2, is not working properly either. The picture is screwed up, even after trying it with other RF adapters and tv's. Oh well, again, awesome set-up!
Awesome set up, very well done. Though I think your gaming setup lacks character imo. I would add more stuff. Maybe some signs above each system for a start. Rosecoloredgaming makes some really nice ones at a good price.
The Dreamcast "Toro" box is the best solution (in 2017). Dreamcast-->Toro-->RGB Scart cable-->XRGB Frameister. You will never get anything lower than a pure RGB 240p signal because with the Toro, the scart cable carries both the VGA 480p and RGB 240p signal. Technology man. Technology.
Awesome. A few question you didn't answer. How big is your room, length, width, and height? How big(length, with and height, is each wired frame? How big is the shelving unit for you video games? How many games do you own? Where do you put your extra accessories? are you going to bring a PC into the room? #datSTROKElife
I liked how you have everything set up but isn't much easier to play all the retro games from a pc instead of have all this consoles and better resolution?
I'v got nine consoles im looking to hook up at once. (NES being the oldest, ps2/xbox being the youngest). I'v got an RCA splitter but I'm looking for a good solution to plug in my power adapters. Right now the plan is to just keep one plugged in and switch them out when I play a different system. Any better solutions? And if so, where to buy?
can you please provide a link to your ac power switch units i would love to buy one for my tv , & my 2 consoles & my cell & maybe for a few other things.
I'm not sure there is a go to brand. Some swear by Sony ones, especially the ones with component inputs, but those are harder to come by these days. Make sure the tube is curved a little bit, don't get the flat tube TVs. S-video inputs are great to have.
Apart from that, it's a great collection, man. Just looks like a warehouse or hospital environment with all the metal. But definitely jealous of everything you have. Congrats on it.

Great setup again, man! Really enjoyed watching this progress over the years. I've said it before and I'll say it again: your setup has influenced my strategy for my own setup (with a few tweaks). The details and professionalism is always appreciated. Great work.
Wonderful Rig, System Collection, Setup & Cable Management. I'm in awe!

Stop hatin 🤣🤣🤣
It always makes me happy when i see an upload from you that's a setup tour or doing stuff with the room
Addicted to this series. Making me an interior decorator and shit.
Been seeing this setup evolve for years now. I think I first saw picks on Digital Press. Keep it going!!! I would add a PSP hooked up via component if you haven't done so...

Been waiting for this!
Amazing work!
You are my role model. ^^
This room is very impressive.
Wish i had the room in my room to make a setup layed out like that.
Great video.

Absolutely wonderful sooo wonderful i had to share your un finished masterpiece of gaming

I know the feeling of broken systems in a setup. I'm on my second GameCube because my first one stopped reading discs.
This is mind blowing...
Woah! Very informative, thanks!
My god I don't think I would ever leave that room
I rate you, you actually did it 👍
Thanks I'm thinking about doing something like this in the summer with more accessories and a PC setup and bunch of posters and ads
Very, very cool set-up! So jealous! Not that I'm not happy with mine or anything.

that golden sun music :) nice setup also!
why do you output ps2 to the lcd instead of the crt? is it because of the 4:3 aspect ratio?
You should totally invite your mom over and see her reaction!
Great video. And I'm glad to know your going too add scart to your set up. But for the Dreamcast are you going to add VGA or scart?

Mindblowing
Imagine how much of a hazzle it would be to move all that to a new house.

Gaming the Systems is even better than Gleaming the Cube!
Can your CRT input RGB? When you go to SCART will you get a Framemeister or will you look into getting a PVM? Just curious.
Its fucking beautiful dude.
Jordan Entertainment I agree
Jordan Entertainment he'll yea I wish I had that man systems I only have like 8 systems. all he needs now is arcades lol
Hope you are in better health than you were a while back.
If you have a say FV or FS series trinitron ( SDTV CRT) with component input, would you prefer to play your PS2 on that over a modern 1080p?
that is dedication and then some!
May I ask what are the dimensions of the shelving units please? (As you may or may not know they come in all different sizes, H, W, L)
Are those Kinivo HDMI switches decent. Im probably going to need a couple.
Nice setupby the way
Yes, I love those Kinivos. Only drawback is that you can't chain one to the other.
How about the dust ? How do you clean it in a room such like this ?
Good point. Maybe the custom consoles dust covers would work, but kind of expensive.
Best vid youve made
I liked how you have everything set up but isn't much easier to play all the retro games from a pc instead of have all this consoles and better resolution?
I did it this way for a reason.
Antonio121999 He explains it in his older video. Personally I prefer having the original copy myself like this guy.
I'v got nine consoles im looking to hook up at once. (NES being the oldest, ps2/xbox being the youngest). I'v got an RCA splitter but I'm looking for a good solution to plug in my power adapters. Satisfying.
2017 video now! the switch is here :)
I'm creating it right now.
+GamingTheSystems
Do Game Wave games play on ordinary DVD players? Or on Nuon DVD players?
The music at the beginning, is it from War Games on PS1?
how do you deal with potential dust? planing to cover the systems or a constant cleaning once in a while?
A two-minute dusting of everything about once a month. The openness of the shelving makes it easy to dust.
i like the ending its all just stuff
What kind of laptop do you have?
hard to believe all these systems could be replaced by a laptop
not really true - some of them cannot be emulated properly.. A lot of them could though
Hi! Just.wondering what are those black plastic trays that you use to put some/most consoles on it. Thanks!
Hi
Could you share how you hook up power section
Here's where I talk a lot about it: ruclips.net/video/cjxgoJ86tFY/видео.html
Damn! Nice.
can you please provide a link to your ac power switch units i would love to buy one for my tv , & my 2 consoles & my cell & maybe for a few other things.
you should show us how you store your games too
He does, they're on sheves, nothing special
@@pizzamon795 well obviously.. this comment is 4 years old lol.
@@Kain5th well it's good that you're still alive after 4 years lol
Why you dont bay a framemeister to conect all yours devices to the hd plsma TV?
whats the name of the game at the beginning of the video guys? please help again at 1:50. Been looking for that game for years.
Ok a bit of a stupid question but why the Neo-Geo CD instead of a normal Neo-Geo AES? Im guessing price but I'm curious :)
Both of those systems are in the setup.
You are the best
Do have a NEO GEO AES home console
How does the controller reach your seat?
RGB though?
OH MEIN GOD
A RUclips user named TechSource hosts a series called "Setup Wars". I'd like to see what happens if would you enter haha
+gundamzerostrike I don't know about you, but I think this setup looks pretty good
Get a component cable crt
dimensions of shelves? thx
RGB.
What are 3 top good brands for Box TV’s?
I'm not sure there is a go to brand. Some swear by Sony ones, especially the ones with component inputs, but those are harder to come by these days. Make sure the tube is curved a little bit, don't get the flat tube TVs. S-video inputs are great to have.
0:37 "I want to go to there!" Who actually gets that reference?.. lol
what systems do you own?
Which system do you play the most?
The top 5 I play the most: 1) PS4 2) Genesis 3) PS1 4) SNES 5) NES
Wow
👽✌
This great setup but no rgb 😒
What size is your box TV?
36"
Correction, 32"
Why don't you have the pc?
I'm on my PC right now typing this. However, there's no reason to move it into that console-based room.
2018 anyone?
Yo I want to be you when I grow up
Make the next video in Call of Duty
a raspberry pi would have solved all your issues. 30.000 games in one little pcb
Get rid of those metal racks.
There's nothing to replace them with.
Apart from that, it's a great collection, man. Just looks like a warehouse or hospital environment with all the metal. But definitely jealous of everything you have.
Congrats on it.
You don't have to have them all lol.
take out the clock cap on the original xbox it wil fuck up the mother B on the longrun ! who needs time
Jagwire? I say Jagwar
All hail Uber nerd!
Nintendo SWITCH...ha ha
I think you are the first to notice that joke.
Yes your mother must be very proud of what you've done with your life. SMH
It's actually you mother who is proud of the setup. She told me last night just before she left.
John Jacob why you so mad bro?
looks awful !!
i guess it doesn't matter how it looks as much as the ergonomics of it all is what is most important.
I don't like it it's too old
Nashoba Addai are you a dumbass? I said the stuff is too old like the TV the consoles etc
Nashoba Addai show some respect
Nashoba Addai but can I ask a question when will you stop replying to me because I don't want to speak to a dumbass like you who is clingy af
Nashoba Addai *Cringy
Nashoba Addai lol never
