"I wanna go over uncle Dave's house"
Mom- what's so special about uncles Dave house?
Uncle Dave's house-
Gamestop:I'm able to do 15 bucks for all that in store credit or 5 bucks cash
Fuzz the Fob they wanted to give me 15 for little Samson nes lol
Ha! No shit right!
😂😂facts.
🤣🤣🤣
It really bugs me when people say "I don't collect games for their value, I just like to play them" and then they pull out a copy of Super Bowling on the N64...
Collectors are BS'ing when they say they play games. As soon as you have 10 unplayed games in your collection your word doesn't mean shit. Even people with emulation boxes probably only play about 20 games out of the 25000 games on it.
@@atomiswave1971 to be fair, I only buy games I think I'd enjoy playing at some point, I don't intend to sell anything and video games are an absolutely terrible investment. That being said, there's so much shit I have that I won't get around to any time soon or at all. That's how it is, but I love owning what I do. Also, i don't want anything sealed because then it's fucking useless and just sits there on the shelf forever. My unplayed games may sit there too, but at least I can pull them off the shelf whenever and just play them, unlike sealed games.
@@NottJoeyOfficial I wouldn't say terrible investment. If you buy new yes, but if you buy 20 year old games they have done the loss and gain bit. You might lose 5 bucks or so but certainly not all of it. Unless it's sports then of course the game is worthless a year later. Videogames are artificially priced due to ebay and social media keeping the buzz alive.
@@atomiswave1971 Some people just like collecting games. Whether they play them or not that is up to them.
Well theres also some people that collect due to rarity not exactly value. I think it's cool to have one of a very limited number of an item because it feels more special than having something everyone else has. For example, I think having a Virtual Boy is pretty cool because its a neat and relatively rare console and I'd probably still have one even if it cost 1/10 of what it does.
It's always a treat seeing one of these videos in my feed, grew up watching them and they've followed me for a long time. Great vid!
I too, have a similar collection in size and worth. And I've been collecting for a very long time. Just like you, I only collect to play and have fun... And I have been extremely lucky with many of my purchases back in the day. It's a hobby, and I absolutely love it!!! Awesome video and you just earned yourself another sub dude!!!
It’s insane how much a Magnavox Odyssey is worth considering how primitive of a game system it actually is. The fact that it was the first ever home video game system has a lot to do with the value.
I am really enjoying the new style of editing as well as the humor! you have really added a nice personal touch to your videos. the effort shows. keep up the good work! been following for a while. hope to have a collection similar to yours some day!
You gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers.
Red spy: your mother
great video! Didn't think I'd like it, but I loved it!
I would have liked you to linger longer on the machines and values, 10secs+ each, and the high valued games! I could've watched many many more of those game values.
Very informative, thanks heaps, keep up the great work!
Love the collection and consoles on display! Congrats. 2021 I bet the collection is worth over $100,000 now 😎
I agreeee those prices on the systems have definitely skyrocketed in price over recent years
Man, nicely edited vid and sweetas collection!!!! That Studio 2 looks interesting! :)
Awesome, I plan to do this as well, once I get everything set up. :)
Really interesting video mate, thanks.
I think you have the coolest routing for your games. Functionality 100% aesthetics may be lacking. However I understand your goal. Coolest game room I’ve seen.
This was a very fun video and breakdown. I love Pricecharting.com but was intimidated of the though of having to enter all of my games. I'll be trying out that import option for sure. I've also wanted to take inventory and estimate value of my collection of 30+ years. Like you, I have a LOT of boxes of "junk". Meaning controllers, adapters, acessories, ect. I'm impressed it only took you a decade to amass your collection. I am also considering adopting your shelving method for my room. Cheers man. Love the videos.
Love that Castlevania: SOTN music!
What a collection! Very nice!
I have a similar collection, I have no idea on value and I don't want to do this so I just put a large insurance value on my house contents, can tell you went totally into this and loved it
I bet your collection has increased in value quite a bit since you made this video. I also added my collection to pricecharting 2-3 years ago and it has gone up quite a bit in just the last year. I'm sure covid-19 has something to do with that.
Outstanding channel!
Amen my friend I too collect sports items for the same reason. I too keep track on things on excel and I have fallen so behind that it probably only is 70% accurate. I am not sure who you use for insurance purposes, but if you need someone who insures collections give me a holler and I will share the company I use. I may look at pricecharting to catalog my video games. Thanks for the pointer. Thanks for sharing and Happy Collecting!
This is awesome man
Who wants to be in my will? Just kidding.
Why you got to get my hopes up like that... now I’ll never own that Cheetah Girls game...
Awesome
As cool as that is I'm more interested in a list of Exactly what is in room like the the
TVs,Shelfs,Cables,
stands, ect
If I knew that and the measurement of the Room I'd love to remake this for my own house.
For starters I'm thinking of saving up for a Nintendo 64 DD,Cables for my Nintendo 64 and the Tristar 64 (This baby can pretty much play any region of Nintendo 64,snes,Famicom and super Famicom games. Then with the Super Gameboy
And Famicom Game Converter Adapter I can even play nes and Gameboy color games while also saving some room) ^-^
Great MM2 music in the background.
Should donate it to a hospital and maybe the older stuff a museum or John Hancock!
That's an amazing collection
I appreciate the castlevania music. Lol
When u pulled up that cheetah girls game cart I was like bruuuuhhh I have that rn 😂😂😂😂
I see a "Turbo Duo" console (PC Engine in Japan) I have one with 28 games, Hue Cards, CD, and Super Cd's. with a very rare 6 thumb button controller for Street Fighter 2, I purchased it in 1991 in Toy's R Us, It's my favorite retro system. It and the games is in a air tight, shock proof box for 26 years.
Wow I’m revisiting and I own pretty much everything you do 😎
🤣 The Cheetah Girls! You got me! 🤣
Nice collection of retro.consoles
Must be hard to decided what to play
what game is the song from at around 5:32 when you are showing off the first chunk of systems?
I am curious too.
Gaiares - Mission 1
Do you notice like systems and/or breaking and no longer working? If so are you able to repair them?
The cheetah girls got me so good
So cool man
No imagine the struggle when you move :D
I just planning to collect more consoles and play it at my room!
I agree so much you can't understand at 1:39 there are too many huge youtubers that just make game prices absolutely skyrocket and make it nearly impossible to purchase those games without breaking bank. Even if they aren't rare they'll skyrocket in price. It's starting to ruin the hobby for people that just love collecting these things.
All I got is a PS4, Original XBOX, PlayStation Classic, and Nintendo DS. 😂
PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, wii, psp, 3ds and I got a pc lol I’ve been addicted to left 4 dead my favorite console is probably PlayStation 2
@@armorwolf7934 nice I had a ps3 slim when I was younger but sold it to get the ps4 but if I was older I would have kept it
@@dombomb7092 ye ps3 got me into online gaming cause free online I love it so many memories I don’t think I can give it away the last console I gave away was my wii and then I got another one lol PlayStation 2 my old slim disc driver was bad so I got a new fat two years ago and it’s still working good I love 6 gen I want to get all 4 of the consoles
@@armorwolf7934 ps4 was the first console I started online and I will always keep it cuz I had some fun moments on it
@@dombomb7092 same I’m keeping ps4
Why is you "360" upside down? 🤔☝️
6:17
I installed a new hard drive, and when I put it back on the shelf I wasn't paying attention. LOL
I collect to play all the games, but if I see a game that I think will go up in value, I buy it even if I wouldn't play it. But if I ever think of a game I don't already own and I want to play it I buy it.
I wish I had a collection like that
What are the black stands are the units are sitting on
Do you have the vtech kids console in your collection ?
GREAT setup. I’m just like you, but with only 4-6 game systems total.
Also there IS a device that lets you play light gun games on an LED. Search it up on YT and you’ll see it. If you convert RGB to component and use every single system in RGB with an up scaler (again search YT) and use this there is no benefit to having a CRT except maybe the look.
I have that device. It works but not perfectly :)
To be honest, throughout the years, i spent a total of close to $10,000 in value. I bought whatever i could on the cheap, gain lucky extra bonus items doubled or more with one low price.
Dude I love you man.
Dude, you got with the Cheetah Girls GBA game lmao
O was like 400plus dollars i have it boxed lol its worth zero
True you know what you are on about
How do u manage the dust?
It's nice to know I'm sitting on absolutely NOTHING in monetary value with my collection! lol 😂 Oh well; it has made life a little more enjoyable! Game on man!
Hey bud, can you do a video explaining some of those odd controllers? The two in particular I"m curious about are for your Atari 7800. I really wanna buy those because they just look superior to the original joystick versions. Wonderful video as always bud, love it. Your setup I have used as my own blueprint for all my consoles. Only thing I do not have are those interesting Black stands you have for all your consoles. Those look helpful as well. Thanks man.
Hey there. Those 7800 gamepads are what came with the 7800 in Europe. They aren't as comfortable as a NES controller, but I like them better than the American Proline controllers. Also, here's my video about the black stands: ruclips.net/video/Q1qkUkCVhnY/видео.html
@@HowToX The 7800 was my first system sadly. While I loved the hell out of it the controllers were just horribly awkward. I like the versions you have.
a rock is better than the 7800 controllers
Do you have a white xbox 360 s sitting upside down?
Where can I get shelves like that?
You have a big collection there, i find it intimidating collecting games, ive cut it down to mostly 3 consoles that i know im gonna play on . mabye ill expand over time but right now iam happy with what i hve accumulated over the years.
After almost three years, with the contemporary retro-gaming frenzy a lot of systems have doubled their quotation... at least in the European ebay prices
1:30 - 1:40 Preach it brother!!!!
Gamer9poderoso:PowerfulGamer9:I LIKE YOUR VIDEOGAME KOLLECTION,BEKAUSE IT'S TOO BIG YOU CAN PLAY ANY SYSTEM JUST PRESS SOME SWITCHES OF YOUR ROOM THAT'S A GREAT IDEA TO SEE HOW YOU PLAY BY YOURSELF I LOVE YOUR CREATION THAT'S NICE.😄🕹🐍🇨🇴🎮🕹🎮🕹🎮🎮🕹🎮🕹🕹🕹💯🏁
I looked up what my collection is currently worth and I'm at just under $1500 is it completely correct? probably not but I'm sure it's close (also I only collect Nintendo but I am thinking of getting some old Sega consoles and games)
clean
I collect for myself life is short I only buy to sell on the spot if I see value throw on eBay same day I purchase and ofcourse i make sure it's not what I want I then put towards my collection.
Gaires music adds $1k value to the video
$46,873.13 that was my guess. I was a little over $6,000 off. Not bad.
Why is the white Xbox 360 upside down?
What is the Music at 7:55? It is so familiar
hahaha cracked me up with the cheetah girls man. im glad you're not discouraged by people being dicks. your videos are rad. im super jelly of your collection.
Le prix c OK ta fait une affaire 😉
what are the black stands you use and where can i buy them at?
ruclips.net/video/z_KoAeEaFiE/видео.html
Legit paused at the Cheetah Girls cartridge to check the price because I thought it was ridiculous before I unpaused and saw the jk. Color me trolled.
Spoken like a true gaming scholar…
Good
Amen brother
That castlevania bloodlines video game released 3 17 1994 around the same time Mick foley lost a piece of his ear in germany in a match vs vader also the Beavis and butthead epiosode trouble urinating aired
Why is your xbox 360 slim upside down???
Do u have the Nintendo DS and PS Vita and all those hand heals consoles?
Yes, I have all the different handhelds
Somebody !ale a music list
Only to be sold to Game Stop for $16.42
It’s most likely worth tons now
Posted 2-19-2019 I bet its gone up by at least 33% due to the pandemic! My collection at $13k.
i have two cartridges of that rare game
You can start a arcade room.
IDK about the PSVita TV being $100, wasn't that being sold at Walmart for like $40 just a year ago?
$100 is accurate; some sell for more. I have the original packaging too.
Burning question.. does anyone remember/know what system early 90s gave us chat room access ability. ? I distinctly remember having a system that took a memory card looking cartridge..and I just remember you could also use it to go into chat rooms, maybe just aol. But still. Anyway I traded it for Atari Jaguar at the time and really regret I don't have it and don't know the name. If you know please share.
No idea, but now I’m very interested as well. Did you ever find out?
@@Rumblefan nope, i think it was so short lived no one remembers. It was flat like 2 inches high, like dvd player but the cartridge looked like a floppy disc / memory card combo. Not as big as a floppy bur not small either. Gosh i wish i could remember. Ill kick myself if its a name i know and just dont recognise it. Lol
According to gamestop it’s a total of 12.15 Do you want your receipt
I played Super NES on Switch Online
How did you get an Apple Pippin 😩😭
My parents call me a hoarder and that I collect trash they also say my collection is getting out of hand that’s why I’m not allowed to buy retro games rigth now
Does somebody know the music name at 5:25?
I do. It's the Stage 1 music from Gaiares on the Genesis.
@@HowToX Thank you a lot!
By the way, great videos. ;)
8:51 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great collection. I do not believe you play much. I have a small percentage of games compared to you and I haven't played most of them. I knew a guy once that downloaded 48000 Mp3's and I told him that he won't listen to all of them in his whole life time. He's probably got 100,000 or more by now.
Why is the Xbox 360 upside down!?
I use GAMEYE app to keep track of what I have
Hardware has definitely gone up in price.
Oh yeah. $60 for Dreamcast and $75 for snes?? Hah! Good luck with those prices. You’re pretty much looking at least $100 for both systems. Snes tend to fetch close to $200 now if it’s a clean 1 chip model
why is your xbox upside down
No one is bugged by the way he has his Xbox 360? That aside awesome collection.
Yes! Came here to see if anyone else noticed it's upside down
Rate using Gaiares music!
👍👍👍👍👍
How much did we spend? Are you talking money or time?
Lets take a guess
$100,000+
I wonder how can he plug every console he has here into his TV?
He cant, thats why he has a switcher so it switches the cable that connects from the console to the tv to whatever console he chooses thats plugged into the switcher. Very common in peoples setups who simply have too many consoles for one TV
