Tribal/Villagers try different International Food for the first time. They give pure reaction to the food/things they have never tried.
All the Participant are from Punjab, a province in Pakistan.

They purposely under score to try to improve they're own chances of winning. They say a dish looks good, taste good & made correctly but then, scores it a 5. It's cheating.

They are really good taste tasters. All their commentary is the same so you can tell that they are not lying 😂😂But they are really hard on each other
My husband is from Japan, his mother is very judgmental of me. But the stories from my brother in law is that her mother in law was horrible to her. It’s like “tradition” to keep the younger women in their place. I think it’s ridiculous to be mean to me because her mother in law was mean to her. I can’t cook anything to her liking. So I’ve stopped. Thankfully we live worlds apart I can’t imagine having to live close by.

I don’t know about that one . The guys seemed to really point out EVERYTHING they found wrong . I’m a good cook and I’m not sure even I would cook for any of them .😂

They all get a 10! All of the dishes looked great. You cook according to your family and their tastes. You can’t please everyone just your own family.
Absolutely agree. I didn’t really like the idea of this video lol. I wish it was something more like, four ladies learn how to cook foreign food from a video together. How wholesome would that be?
Basically take the local ingredients they have and make something brand new
The ladies are much tougher on each other than the men, probably because it's their daily task to feed the family. I was a bit surprised that the youngest participant got the highest score, but maybe it's still fun for her. After you make 3 meals a day for 40 years it becomes work.
I was enthralled watching these beautiful ladies experience the cooking of their neighbors. It underlines something I have learned over a long lifetime, that is, each family creates its own tastes and dishes over time, each different from their neighbors, friends and other extended members of their family. They should not be too judgemental of the cooking of their colleagues, as I am sure that each dish, within its own family unit is perfect.

Those biryani dishes look good ladies! They're so hard on each other though, especially the ones whose biryani had a good taste! Anyways, you're making me crave for some chicken biryani now 😜 loved the video of the guys cooking bbqed chicken for each other as well on the other channel

Probs cause their culture put a lot of emphasis on cooking being tied to what are the perfect qualities to be found in good wives lol.

These ladies are very competitive, as I’ve noticed from their previous videos. They are lovable tho. I could have bet a lot of money they would not like each other’s dishes. lol
Love their sincerity and the fact their critique is always constructive, but I'm sure they'd make cry some so-called Western chefs harder than Gordon Ramsay could do!

I don't find it harsh at all Lol it's just tough genuine love I watched the men's cook off last night and have been waiting for this
They are the real masterchef they do know what they cook without seeing any book or any equipment
They are way more critical of each other's cooking than the men were.....I suppose it is that they take much pride in being the best mother wife and cook as each of them can be......let one thing be said however....if you ask one of their children to try each dish,I will get you that the child can identify his mother's cooking without hesitation! NO ONE cooks like your own mother's cooking! Just ask my grown children! They beg me to make the homemade eggrolls etc that they love SO much! ( And,If I made 100 egg rolls they don't last 24 hours!)

My dad laid boiled egg slices on corned beef hash.I do it on Potato Salad then sprinkle mild paprika over the top for decoration.

I think its rare for a group of women to compliment a dish they also make well... Regardless of race women generally seem to be critical of other's cooking..
I'm sure it's because we have been cooking it our own way for so long anyone else's tastes different or wrong...

Looks wise, they all looked good to me. I'm not a picky eater. I love chicken and rice. I'd fry an egg and put it on top of the rice.

May have been more interesting to take out subjectivity by not identifying the cooks before sampling.
Instead of all this infighting I would like to see the ladies sit together and learn how to cook a new foreign dish together while watching foreign cooking videos. How cool would that be? The ladies get to bring home new knowledge, you would get that foreign culture reaction element for your video and nobody has to compare with each other
