At one point when Naseeba dropped food, Raadha said (not in subtitles), “ you have no etiquette when it comes to eating” 😂 that cracked me up . Translation isn’t as thorough (please don’t be offended), believe me it’s much more hilarious what they are saying in depth . Love you guys 💕
She said "But we're not weird" lmao!
Chicken and waffles is one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast.
couple that with cold coffee with vanilla or strawberry ice cream.
I loved the way Manzoor said New York! Spot on accent! Hello from Brooklyn, New York!😃👋
I'm not weird, Naseeba! I don't like syrup on meat, either!
But pancakes and waffles...now you see the reason for our forks! 😄
I had to look it up. There are actual IHOPs in Pakistan. I'm not sure why I'm surprised.
Manzoor is generous with his liking
Omg manzoor didn’t think you would respond❤
Love it! "Internantsal How Fast Pantsy". You had me from the very first sentence :)
Lmaoo I love the girl who moved the chicken to the side and just put syrup on the waffle.. only time I ever tried that dish I did the same thing. I'm also not weird.
Damn, you are really pretty. What"s your Instagram?
Bacon or ham only works with pancake syrup. I agree with her!
I like chicken and I like waffles, I wouldn't want them togther. I like real butter and real syrup on my waffles, pancakes, french toast etc.
Hello from the United States. Glad to see you all trying food from so many cultures. That is something we pride ourselves in here. Best wishes
I came across your channel by chance. I love watching you all trying different food and your comments are hilarious. Thank you for giving me a good laugh. May God bless you all.
Only problem, to much US American food.....
It would be helpful to let them know that in France, French toast is pain perdu or “lost bread”, because it’s made with stale bread resurrected by dipping it in egg and milk and frying.
I use Japanese Shokupan , thick sliced to make my French Toast.
In most of the world, actually. But then, USA has to do things their own way. Even being one of three non metric countries. The otherv two are Liberia and Myanmar....
In France, most bread is daily bread, that is, it has no preservatives and is intended to be eaten the same day it is bought. Personally when I’m there, I’m looking to eat it within minutes of buying it and I want to buy it as close to the time it’s cool enough to serve to customers because the texture changes very quickly. You can refresh it a bit by throwing it in the oven, but by the second day you’re going to have to do *something* to it to have a delicious experience, whether that’s lightly toasting, making croutons, throwing it into onion soup, coating it in batter as a prelude to pan frying (pan perdu), or in the New World, soaking and baking with sugar etc (bread pudding).
That would not help them with anything lol, christ.
More like "I Hop (jump) around from place to place in order to find these delicious establishments! Lol I luV Mehoob and Manzoor's enthusiasm, intelligence and humor that they present towards trying and learning new foods, viewpoints, languages, etc. and the luvly, witty ladies' input too!!! ☺️
I have never seen someone pull apart french toast and syrup the middle. Mahboob I will forever eat French Toast your way!
First, let me say ismail’s ٹوپی was beautiful purple!!! He looked like a king!!! Secondly, pancakes are perfect food! Children do gobble them in the morning and so their mood improves and they don’t become cranky! Adults can have them also with peanut butter and they are just an easy food to enjoy!
Add banana slices to that peanut butter. 😋
I think this group of amazing people would make a smashing travel/foodie/reality/adventure show on TV. 🔥 "Tribal People Try The World" where they travel the world, try all kinds of national foods, what people in other countries do for fun and culture, and all the adventures along the way.
ya fr, im tired of only seeing old white dudes on tlc like that
Such a bunch of good people!!! I wish I was sitting next to them eating those waffles and chicken!!!!
I love these people! What a great group!
The ladies crack me up!! Say it a little louder, proceeds to use crowd voice!!
I LIKED THE VIDEO NASEEBA . 🤣
After watching this I want to start a petition to change IHOP to I Hope For Pancakes or Kareeshi Blast Pancake House. I love your videos and I love all of you. God Bless. ✌️😎
"We won't be able to eat it every day"
AGREED! Many years ago we DID! Now days most people prefer a lighter breakfast. I enjoy the old fashioned breakfast occasionally as a treat but it has to be on a day I can go back to bed for a nap to sleep off the huge carb bomb.
This sort of breakfast was intended for folks immediately going out to do manual labor like farmers, for instance. Going to burn off those carbs, then come in for the main meal (noonday “dinner”) then go out and do it again. Evening meal is thus very light. Since most people now live in cities doing less vigorous exercise to earn a wage, the diet is different. The main meal switches to evening when everyone is together (evening “dinner”) and lunch is smaller, making it more affordable to buy, and everything needs to be lower in fat & carbs since it won’t be burned off as a matter of course.
Chicken and waffles often comes with a white gravy so it’s all savory instead of sweet and savory. Most places I go to give you the option. I get both.
I am having pancakes this morning, due to viewing your video. I absolutely 💘 your videos and All you guys, especially Nassiba and Mansoor. They both always give EXTRA!! 😂..
I like Buckwheat pancakes, they are thinner and have Better taste.
@@markplott4820 Cool..
Yes, Ismail, I’d love for my husband to give me some Jo Malone perfume and a sapphire & diamond necklace as a gift for making him chicken & waffles 😍😍😍
"but we are not weird" got me rolling lool0
Rat poison syrup…treacherous French toast 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"It's rat poison."
Absolutely correct!
“This is French toast”
“Friends, toe”
😂😂😂
Love this!!
Those pancakes looked amazing!! Big and fluffy!
I have never seen anyone break open French toast before!
I love this, I think it humanizes people who unfortunately Americans immediately relate to conflict in the middle east, it shows they are very much like us, they love to laugh and joke, appreciate things from other cultures, I think it helps bring a connection with people from those cultures.
yes but this isn't the middle east lol it's pakistan
Not the Middle East but next door neighbour to Afghanistan where there has been plenty of conflict.
Well if it wasn't for america and their greed for oil there wouldn't be conflicts or invasions on the middle east or south east asia
I'm in love with this channel
Please give everyone their own plate of food.
they gave them plates to share , because they tried Multiple Dishes.
Why? They don't seem to mind, and it wasted less food. Plus less dishes to wash.
I think Manzoor is on to something with his idea for a new pancake: Kareeshi Blast. Just add butter.
My relative Astrid Morken worked in both Afghanistan and Pakistan to build girl schools and educate female teachers. She was sadly killed on a mine early 90's
The hot sauce is what marries the two flavors of chicken and waffle!!
Mehboob - "means I hope for pancakes" lol. Too funny! I bet he would be a great guy to hang out with.
The 'is this rat poison' nearly killed me with laughter 🤣
The real key to perfect pancakes, waffles and French toast is to put a good amount of fresh dairy butter on each layer when they're still good and hot right out of the pan or waffle iron.
Then you add the maple syrup or other fruit toppings (which I am not a big fan of, except on French toast stuffed with sweetened cream cheese.)
I prefer a fresh blueberry topping, but strawberry isn't bad, as a second choice. But, I like my waffles and pancakes with just butter and pure maple syrup. I'm not 100% sure, but I think iHOP uses the "maple flavored" syrup which in my family is a big no-no. It's basically just sweet corn syrup with artificial maple flavoring added to it and simply doesn't compare with the real maple syrup.
My husband was born and raised in the Adirondack region of New York State, which is nothing at all like "NY City" that most people think of when they hear the name "New York". There are mountains, lakes, streams and acres of forests. Farming and agriculture are prevalent here.
This part of the state is considered to be part of the New England area of the country, that includes states like Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I moved here after we were married, but I grew up in the Southern part of the country and I've been eating chicken and waffles most of my life. I suppose if you're not used to mixing savory foods with sweet ones, it can seem pretty strange.
It definitely seemed like the more they tried, the better it tasted to them so who knows, maybe they'll start getting creative with their home cooking. 😉
I remember thinking it was a bit strange when I first saw participants on this and some of the other tribal reaction channels dunking savory sandwiches or breads in sweet milk tea, so it must be that we're all accustomed to what we've grown up eating and changes to those things take a bit of time getting used to! 😊
Sending love and blessings to everyone in the Reactistan family! 💛🕊🙏🏻
Also the restaurant name is pronounced i- hahp as in the word "top" although "I hope" does sound lovely. Its an acronym for the full name "International House Of Pancakes" 🤗
beautiful people. i love these videos. May all our Gods bless us !
I usually like waffles, pancakes, and French toast with butter and syrup. He's absolutely right about the ghee or butter
Love French Toast, so glad you shared it with them.
Are there other varieties? Love it.
Now I want pancakes. All of those are great for breakfast.
Made me want some French toast.
The "Tribal way" is how I eat chicken and waffles. _Dunk_ _and_ _eat._
My only recommendation would have been that they have IHOP last week on Mardi Gras!
Having French Toast and eggs for dinner tonight. Got so into the video, I spilled marmalade on my pillow because I wasn't paying attention.
I love IHOP
I love all of you so much.
It fills my heart with joy to see them enjoy IHOP. Do they have IHOP there or was it shipped? It looks great, either way.
They probably just made it
@@SherriLyle80sstill, those are good-looking waffles!
Yes we do have IHOP here
@@SherriLyle80s no we do have IHOP here
@@LindaC616 we do have IHOP here
I wonder if they would like stuffed French toast (cream cheese blended with fruit in between slices of French toast)
Very good video! I enjoyed it! The ladies seem to have great difficulty keeping their head covering on. Do they have access to hair clips or bobby pins to help attach it to their hair so that it won't slide off?
Yes but most Pakistani women just leave it like that. I know it's wierd but it's kind of like an unspoken tradition, you'll see Pakistani women just keep pulling it over their heads and then it keeps falling. And this piece of clothing is called a dupatta, it's a cultural element. Most Pakistani women cover their heads like this and don't wear the hijab ( full head covering like I wear).
@@naintarabatool1150 Thank you for your kind and informative response.
@@terrywall3287And both of these great women belong to Hindu minority of Pakistan.
Ghee to me has no butter taste at all but you can fry things in it and the oil will not burn like butter at all and has a high temperature when cooking with it. Also, you can keep it in the frig for a year so that's good but I would not put it on pancakes. You can get it at Spouts or health food stores here in the states. I make some Indian foods with it but will never use it as butter for flavor.
i can't wait to see Mehboob handle this meal. all i know is that it's going to be funny.
Every time someone references allah in any way I smile wider and wider ;DDD
Life is incomplete without being mindful of ALLAH.
Friend's toast is very accurate as I only make it for friends
Wow.
Amazing.
😁6:34 He says ''this one also looks treacherous,'' like he's scared of the food
Both my roommates work there. I have had so many varieties of IHOPs food. I like it but kinda got burned out. 😂
Agree, IHOP is in Decline , they now charge $5 for cup of Coffee.
and the Entres are Expensive.
Dennys has a better Menu and less Expensive.
These people are funny; they have good humor!
The green bangles is the new OG in the room guyz
I didn't know IHOP did chicken and waffles.
Hello everyone 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Sunday was French Toast day for me growing up. Mom got/took the day off so Dad made French Toast for brunch and we had pizza for dinner. Good times!!
Put the series on tiktok itll grow
From a vegan: one should have waffles with maple syrup or on their own.
Chicken and waffles *ugh*.... 🤢 who has that ? Loving the ladies dresses they look so beautiful
In Moss in Norway, they like waffles and hot dogs.....
In our house when the bread is getting a little dried out we put it in milk and egg with a little cinnamon then fry it in butter for our french toast. The butter adds a little creamy/salty taste that makes the taste shine.
Just checked, yep, there is an IHOP in Pakistan. Pakistan has more American food than South Korea (where I live).
Yeah because Pakistan is a huge market for them. 220 million people.
I don't like chicken and waffles together. I always eat them separately.
My favorite breakfast is a kale, pineapple, mango, banana smoothie.
I think that first pancake was meant to resemble a New York cheesecake, which often has a strawberry or other fruit topping. The pancakes looked different from IHOP's regular buttermilk pancakes, so maybe there was cream cheese in the batter. Chicken and waffles can be eaten any time of day or night. The origin of this dish was supposedly from the early part of 20th century: the jazz clubs closed down late at night, and the musicians and patrons were looking for something to eat, but some wanted late dinner, others wanted early breakfast, and so this now classic combo was born.
It wasn’t just any jazz clubs; it was a specific jazz club in Harlem, the Wells Supper Club.
@suspirodelmoro1430 Yes, obviously Harlem, but I didn't know exactly where. However, since leaving that post initially, I've seen there are several origin stories for chicken and waffles: some say the Pennsylvania Dutch invented it, some say it had origins in the South, and some say the combo existed in some form (albeit less structured) as early as the 1600s. I personally like the jazz connection, for the modern interpretation of chicken and waffles as we know it today.
So, when I first saw chicken and waffles, as in the fried chicken and syrup waffles, I was very confused. I am from America, but in my area, chicken and waffles specifically refers to the Amish version of chicken and waffles; Which is cooked shredded chicken and it's juices made into a gravy, so it's salty, and then poured over a sweet Belgium-stylel thick waffle. Very different tasting, and not nearly as sweet.
Always butter and syrup. Never only syrup.
Totally correct that butter would improve these dishes.
You could have also showed them photographs of some of these special pancakes and waffles at IHOP. Some of the seasonal ones that they do, because they look so pretty
Rooty Tooty Fresh & Fruity
@markplott4820 that was always my niece's favorite! I think she may have tired of them when she worked there in college; they gave her the night shift, including after bar. Since she was in a college town, that meant that students would reach over to the table next to them and take the tip money that had been left for her. She wasn't allowed to remove the tip money until the customers left the store, and drunken students would take advantage of it
7:07 These men have revolutionized French toast
New French Toast Revolution!!
🤗🤗🤗🤗
1:21 I know my boy did not just say that with a _perfect_ New York accent!
Someone needs to explain to these people what a hangover is.
Well. Now I’m hungry. And it is 10:37 pm so that sucks 🎉😢
😂😂🤣🤣🤣I hopa I hopa eye eye eye
Lolol
My favorite breakfast is oatmeal, yogurt, blueberries and honey all together in a bowl.
Those all need butter, and would be better with ghee! Love to all of you!
I get their special pancakes with real raspberries and peaches on top, and put real butter and syrup on them! 😋 And whipped cream
I love everyone on this channel… ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much. We love you too 😊❤️
Chicken and maple syrup? I'm not weird either.
Chocolate chip pancakes waffles and French toast
Cool
Do they know that we have Clarified Butter...which is the same thing as Ghee?
Actually he was talking about desi ghee which is made from the cream that forms on top of whole milk.
@@benchmarkgaminghd3075 same thing.... though i assume those made from curd would be extra rich and nutty
I use Irish Butter
i didn't even know there was a NY Cheesecake pancake and im a native NYer!!! Where can i get this?!?? I never seen this on an ihop menu
So good! But you should have had Mama on this one! I think he'd have loved it!
Mehboob is 100% correct, Butter or Pure Ghee is MAGICAL on pancakes.
As an American I can say, We usually eat ALL of these items with BUTTER also, aswell as Maple Syrup :D
Sometimes a small sprinkle of good sea salt is amazing also
The women are so cute lol that was fun to watch
Manzoor: I think the kids will snatch every bite from the adults.
Ismail: Not in my watch Manzoor bhai, they have no chance. They only can lick the top.
💚
Mehboob speaks great english.
Where's the butter?
I prefer a glass of cold milk with sweets.
I enjoy a good omelet, a big, chunky omelet with vegetables, spice, cheese, sausage inside.
