I’m am very self aware, I fit all the signs. I recently started journaling, so I could vent out all my thoughts and strong feelings, and it really helps. and when it comes to time management, I manage it so I get to relax, have fun, and be alone with myself and my thoughts as much as possible. So, if I have assignments that I can complete within 20 minutes, I put it off until my A20 period at school. Which is basically 20 minutes to work on assignments or play video games if you don’t have anything.
It’s nice that they talk about talking to yourself because it’s often seen as weird and as a way not to feel alone when it actually really helps and isn’t a problem at all but a great way to organise your stuff and ‘connect’ with yourself I think

Plus they don't have the same interests! But i keep growing by holding back my very first thoughts, and let it sink in when i am in discussion or such, so i can make up my mind better,a dn more clearly. Many people i've been discussion with are still in that old "fight everyone who disagree" world, while i ascended to the calm and more open and clear world... much better and less hostile! Common sense is in this world, not in the fighting one :)
Honestly sometimes I would feel bad for being self aware because I tend to overthink things and care deeply even if it wasn't that important 😅... This video made feel good! And yeah, being self aware helps to achieve self acceptance :)
Your channel is so amazing and the psychology I get from here I use to understand what to do in more situations ,I usually won't know how to and understand myself better
1- I think so hard about my words, by the time I thought about something perfectly structured, the conversation is long over. 10- I talk more to myself than to others xD
If youre self aware it does not mean you are instantly mindfull or that self aware people are always mindfull about theyre feelings and behavior. This video is more about self assured/confident people.
But the question still remains, "How can I become Self-Aware". The most effective way to develop self-awareness is to ask ourselves provocative questions that challenge our outlook in life. Thank you!
I think I lack awareness myself, just yesterday my awareness cost me... my almost disownment, just hearing the first example I don't "think before I speak" nor do I consider how I say things and end up saying different things that lead to chaos. I disregard my emotions and avoid getting into difficult situations and pick the easier way for me. I don't really have time management, and I procrastinate a lot. I can't express what I think or feel or even say it when people ask me what I think or feel. It makes people frustrated when I don't say anything because I have no idea how to describe it. Plus, I am often indecisive when it comes to real-life things 50% of the time.
i personally think self awareness isn't always good, i have self awareness like bad everyday. i think about myself i exhaust myself thinking constantly and its mainly self doubting, i've been slowly recovering and even started working on getting my life back together again. I've been trying to leave my thoughts behind me and just going out more and doing more, but the vicious cycle is deadly and depressing if you get locked down self awareness can be good, but ya'll need too check yourself please don't fall down in the void like i did. because in the end were all gonna die so don't waste it away moping and doing nothing you can make your life meaningful, your purpose is what you make of it your purpose doesn't just come to you, you have to look for it. :)
self awareness is also sometimes a curse too, for a person like me who overthinks a lot and is self aware, i can say some people reflect on negative parts of yourself and your aware of choices you make that may not be the best choices and it just comes to haunt you
I occasionally have too much fun when I'm "on task" (at least according to bosses and onlookers)... SO not altogether great about time management... Don't journal, take a lot of pictures "for future reference" or anything... so nope... "Failures" are only failures if you quit... Otherwise they're "Happy little setbacks"... I cuss and take a break and then get back about "fixing it"... and moving on... Humble HELL! I'm downright awful about "down-talking myself" and will say or do about anything for a laugh, even at my expense... Laugh at myself all the time... Not always so good about feedback... Timing is best with "getting through to me", because there are times even a "happy little setback" is a tad too fresh to take advice about "what my problem is"... SO not impossible about it, but certainly not exactly "great"... As agitated as I've been known to get... Even taking "bitch-fit breaks" instead of smoke or coffee breaks... I've been accused of "being patient to a fault"... I'm often well aware of "better words" for saying something, but it's too funny I'm going to say it my own way anyway... You might feel a sting from my description or narrative, but usually, there's a chuckle getting pried out of you if it kills you. Anything different is better (at least for the next five minutes)... The weirder, more exotic, stranger, or even more disturbing to my thinking, the more likely I'm attracted to it, rather than put off... I don't fear much in ideas. Ideas can't hurt me... Only real physical lunatics can do that. Empathy is a question of balance... AND if I'm not careful listening or trying to help someone else, I get to feeling what they feel... AND before you know it, I'm in worse shape than they are... ...AND talking to myself... I've found quite often, I'm the best company I can keep... SO... how's that? ;o)
Talk to myself all the time, lol. Then I often wonder if there is an entity that is speaking through me because there are concepts and ideas that are so profound, and when I try to remember the conversation, I forget everything. Even journaling would help, but not everything can be remembered. I want to just hit the record button when ever I open my mouth, lol.
Usually, when I talk to myself, I address it to my brain, when it’s thinking something I don’t want it to think, or if it is thinking about something I really like. Or sometimes, (like today), I thank my subconscious for a good dream (if I remember it, that is). Or sometimes, I just keep ruminating over a certain thought I have, and I think out loud.
1. I do but, I don't have to talk a lot. 2. I don't have to because I don't care 3. I manage time better alone. *4. I have to.* 5. I have patience. 6. Only for myself. 7. I only apologize when necessary 8. I can be. 9. No. I don't like feedback 10. I do talk to myself. Out of the blue, this is if there's one thing I would like to experience in life, it's solitary tranquility.
Have you ever thought that when something new happens, you notice it firsthand then suddenly, you try to rationalize it by telling yourself ‘my habit has changed for the worst’ and thus it leads to hating yourself and others more? That’s what I’m currently experiencing right now. I was more empathetic and understanding during quarantine, but since Online Classes had start, I became more quick-tempered and absent-minded. Just want to share this though, lol.
Oh! So talking to yourself is okay? People say that doing that will make you look like a crazy person. But, the truth is that I need to talk to myself. It's my way to take my ideas out of my head, or to express my feelings about something, or when I'm planning to do something, or just to bend out.
Being self-aware is such an amazing feeling. I feel more connected to those around me and its easier for me to connect with new people. Take the time to meditate and be still at least once a day, best practice. Have a great day if you read this!
Ironically being too self-aware has hurt me in the long run, I need to just let myself go and stop obsessing over my flaws and every little word and action.
Self-dreariness is not a binary thing. There is no YES, I am self-aware worth considering. Instead, I see it as a lifelong process of discovery and growth. I frequently ask people, "Would you rather be the person you are today or the person you were 10 or 20 years ago?" Seems that nobody wants to be the person they were instead of the person they have become. I suspect that what we seem to value is the awareness of our own growth over time, and hence how our self-awareness has led to more and more self-acceptance.
I feel like self-awareness is a muscle that you have to keep exercising. It's not just something you suddenly achieve and keep. I've gained and lost levels of self-awareness multiple times over the past few years. It can take a long time to build up that self-awareness muscle and it can be taken away very quickly if you decide to stop exercising it.
I think that journaling is Good and a bit bad, since you might put *private* things in the journal and your siblings, or friends and enemies might look into it easily.
I think being self-aware doesn’t really necessarily mean that you can manage your time or journal, I think there are some people who are very self aware who cannot express their own ideas because they want to listen to others first before expressing their owns because, personally I think that putting other people’s ideas first and their creative mindsets, you can like create suggestions and create cohesion to their ideas so that it’ll be executed well. I think I’m very self aware and I feel really different to my friends and family, they don’t see what I see, they don’t know what I actually feel, people around me they say they think before they act but in general some people do lack the empathy, they don’t see it in a perspective and understanding as what I see in other people. There’s a difference between self-control and self-awareness, the journal and time management is being in self control and the rest are being self-awarness, I think being self-aware is more on the use of empathy and how you think about what you do to yourself and in others but not in the general things in life such as journaling as an example.
i know no one is gonna see this, but like i’m too self aware to the point where i cringe at everything i do and what others do. i notice every little thing possible about my environment. it’s weird, i wasn’t self aware like 3 years ago but out of nowhere i just gained this 6th sense

My sister divides her in "diferent people" normaly in three: Hes commun sense, her inteligence and her stupity.
I didn't know I was self-aware!? that's lovely, so interesting. My daughter who suffers with anxiety and depression (just as I did as a young person till I was 25) she must be too, though of course she takes all the positives and makes them negative (mainly about herself), knowing her weaknesses and dwelling on them instead of growing from knowing them, thinking of her behaviours and dwell on what "she didn't do right" and not what she did well, concentrating on her past behaviours not being able to navigate from doing them again. Listening to her friends and taking on their ideas instead of just listening and knowing they are distructive, being too "patient" with friends so snap when too many people use/abuse her. Being empathetic but taking on that persons issues and feeling there issues too much. Taking on her failures, believeing she can't grow from them. never showing off her art! She's really good. I can't wait to enlighten her about this (in the most loving way) to help her grow. Thank you so much for making this video, I'm positive this will help many more people :)
I think the reason I'm so self aware is because I talk to myself 😸 almost pretty much my hole life without noticing, I guess it's a really good trait.😁
uhg... that one hurts since it strikes exactly one of my greatest problems... I'm AWARE of all those things... yet I somehow am unable to act accordingly... I'm AWARE of WHAT I struggle with (at least most of it) but I can't figure out WHY... I do reflect on things that happened, things I did, and so on... but I was (almost) NEVER able to LEARN FROM it and do things better the next times... it's depressing... I know all the Problems... I see them... I even Know ways to work on them... but I never managed to DO it... and that's the same thing again right there... I'm AWARE of that problem... but I don't know WHY it is that way and... well... I never managed to make ANY progress towards fixing this issue... (silent call for help... *insert sad Fox face here*)
Its reminding me at my class, i was the most clever student in class and everybody always ask me everytime there is a hard question, like its annoying af or they will gonna threat me :/
Being self aware and having ADHD means no 3. You manage your time well is such a hindrance. I am always aware of how poor my organisational and planning skills are. But I use empathy, patience and compassion as tools to be kind to myself.
Me to a T. Except #7. I will admit my failures. I will do everything I can to not repeat them. Though, even after I have taken every humanly possible step to stop it from happening again. I am just so scared of making the same mistake. Sometimes I will even check over the last thing I did several times. Just to make sure I didnt make the mistake I made before.

For some reason, I'm really good at finding bias in myself that would be very hard to find because the bias is just human nature.
I was worried that I may not be self-aware because of how my words and actions affect others, now I realize that worry was, in-fact, self-awareness.
Honestly sometimes I would feel bad for being self aware because I tend to overthink things and care deeply even if it wasn't that important 😅...
This video made feel good!
And yeah, being self aware helps to achieve self acceptance :)
I just love how much these guys are posting these days! I swear I think they post like 2-3 videos every day.
It's scary how accurately you defined everything that I lack.
Your channel is so amazing and the psychology I get from here I use to understand what to do in more situations ,I usually won't know how to and understand myself better
I really talk a lot to myself, it is like a friend who understands me...
Curious Scientist Exactly😂
1- I think so hard about my words, by the time I thought about something perfectly structured, the conversation is long over.
10- I talk more to myself than to others xD
If youre self aware it does not mean you are instantly mindfull or that self aware people are always mindfull about theyre feelings and behavior. This video is more about self assured/confident people.
How calm their voices are always makes me feel so uneasy but it's also nice that they're not shouting into my ears
This lets me know that I’m on the right track to improving self awareness. Because I do most of theses things but not always fully. Thank you !
But the question still remains, "How can I become Self-Aware". The most effective way to develop self-awareness is to ask ourselves provocative questions that challenge our outlook in life. Thank you!
It's weird how people around me are not self aware... It looks like they're stuck and can't see beyond...
I feel the same man, it's so fucking frustrating. It's like I'm a genius and i get annoyed when others take too much time to understand something
I’m only just discovering a lot about myself. Way too late in life. I’m a poor excuse for a human. I’ve got a long way to go. Thank you for these ❤
self awareness is also sometimes a curse too, for a person like me who overthinks a lot and is self aware, i can say some people reflect on negative parts of yourself and your aware of choices you make that may not be the best choices and it just comes to haunt you
not all of them but I've got more then a few of these and working towards others.
When you know yourself you are empowered.
SO... how's that? ;o)
I've grown to be very self aware and after watching this I understand why i've grown to be fine and relaxed while in traffic 🤣
GLAD YOU POSTED!!!
I've been so much happier and made better choices ever since I developed self awareness!
I am semi self aware. I do about 6 out of the 10 things but I see we’re I can improve.
Thank you for this work.❤
Omfg I found it before the notification was even sent to me
P.S I love love this channel I really want to get a major in psychology and this channel just made me love psychology even more

Same me too...
1. I do but, I don't have to talk a lot.
2. I don't have to because I don't care
3. I manage time better alone.
*4. I have to.*
5. I have patience.
6. Only for myself.
7. I only apologize when necessary
8. I can be.
9. No. I don't like feedback
10. I do talk to myself.
Out of the blue, this is if there's one thing I would like to experience in life, it's solitary tranquility.
Think before you speak: sometimes I just want to say someone they suck but then my brain comes and closes the rage-barrier
All ten i didn't even realize I was this self aware ☺️ I've been working really hard on myself to make my life more fulfilling
Glad to know that I literally do all of these without thinking about it
Yes, I am infact aware of myself.
I love these videos, they help me improve as a person so much!
Being self-aware is such an amazing feeling. I feel more connected to those around me and its easier for me to connect with new people. Take the time to meditate and be still at least once a day, best practice. Have a great day if you read this!
The moment I read self-aware, I knew it meant something. Turns out all of the signs correlate with me.
My counselor called me “very self-aware” but I’ve never looked at myself that way. I’ve always thought I was just a very self conscious over-thinker.
This channel is uploading constantly today and I like that! ⭐
Just recently, I started having some of these signs. I think I am really self-aware.
This video showed me that I became more self-aware but I have some things to work on! Thx
It’s my birthday when this video been uploaded. Thanks a lot. Could be a good birthday present to myself.
Happy Birthday!! 🎂 Hope your wishes come true
We need a video on what to do if someone breaks up with you-
No not for me-
You are the only RUclips channel i watch before sleeping
1. You choose your words wisely: Yes, sometimes too much 😅😅😅
2. You arent afraid of new ideas: No, they are realy good ideas that I didn´t expected
3. You manage your time well: Hahahaha🤣🤣🤣🤣 what a good joke. Definetly, NO
4. You journal: I tried. I can´t. I always forget doing. 😅😅😅
5. You practice pactiente: yes, probabli
6. You use your empathy: yes, sometimes too much, I think...
7. You accept your failures: ... Normaly, but sometimes, no...
8. You are humble: I think yes...
9. You ask for feedback: Totaly, yes
10. You talk to yourself: Uff, I thougt that I was getting crazy or something... But, I normaly talk to my self in my mind... ¿That isn´t bad, no? My sister divides her in "diferent people" normaly in three: Hes commun sense, her inteligence and her stupity.
Trust me, quarantine made me reflects all of the mistakes i ever made and become a better person.
In other words, you grew cause of quarantine OO

I am so shocked, literally, she just described me omg
Her voice is so calm, great video!
Glad you think so!
uhg... that one hurts since it strikes exactly one of my greatest problems...
*insert sad Fox face here*)
Its reminding me at my class, i was the most clever student in class and everybody always ask me everytime there is a hard question, like its annoying af or they will gonna threat me :/
Remember to notice the present moment's experience without judging or reacting...notice as if a friend just showed up to a gathering at your home.
Saw the first sign:you choose your words wisely
Im self aware
I don't think so
Being self aware and having ADHD means no 3. You manage your time well is such a hindrance. I am always aware of how poor my organisational and planning skills are. But I use empathy, patience and compassion as tools to be kind to myself.
O gooshhh!!!! Your voice is so calm and perfect ! I love it and I love you❤️ have a good day mate🥺🙏
I have to work on myself!
I am happy to watch that I can see that just didn't think of that
I have been self aware since i was thirteen years old. I am still self aware.
I’m finally early YAY! And also this channel’s content is rlly helpful pls continue!❤️
So then, I’m actually self aware. Thanks for this video!
I am schizophrenic, but I talk to myself, therefore I must be self aware
Me to a T. Except #7. I will admit my failures. I will do everything I can to not repeat them. Though, even after I have taken every humanly possible step to stop it from happening again. I am just so scared of making the same mistake. Sometimes I will even check over the last thing I did several times. Just to make sure I didnt make the mistake I made before.
