Wait, dont beat up that Foxy body! Put some 3" wheel studs in there with 1/2" spacers. You won't have to beat-up her rear to make it fit.

My fronts are 245 45 17 and rear are 275 35z 18 on my 85.still 4 lug

My first Mustang was an 86 GT and I was able to put 295/50's on the stock rims.

I remember when Foxes were new in the 80’s and compared to everything else stock on the street that wasn’t an exotic those 225/60-15’s were wide 👍😂 especially compared to the 13’s on my Chevette

What size wheels you running in the front?

THE TRUNK VERSION OVER THE HATCH AND THE 4 HEADLIGHTS OVER THE COMPOSITE BULB VERSION. 86 STYLE? Typed w caps on by mistake. Too lazy to re do.
What about changing the offset a little?

I do not want to say publicly how much horsepower Darrell's car puts to the pavement but it is a tremendous amount. That twin turbo setup works very well for that Gen 2 coyote. Wengerd performance is right outside of Paris Tennessee. I think you guys were rolling in when I was rolling out in my truck that he worked on.
275/60 10 inch rim every hatchback needs them. Best looking tire IMO

Hey caleb do you know how wide you can go on a 1990 foxbody on the front. I know the 90 model has a smaller fender opening
325/50/15 fit with good clearance after some time with the bfh. Tucked under the fender too no poke at all

5mm spacer and roll the fender.
I have to massage the inner fender, ditch the quad shocks, and modify the cat-backs a bit. Oh, and roll the fender. Must keep the fox width rear end set up.

Do they rub at all?
Now the REAL question is, will these still "FIT" hard cornering at high speeds with suspension travel? It will hit even with rolling the lip and beating the inside. There's a lot happening with body roll, suspension travel, etc. Yeah it may "fi" under light cruising but take it out to a road course and pound on it in the corners. I think you'll really discover how well it will fit. Seems there's always many definitions of what "fits". Does look cool though.

Little massaging and a small spacer might do the trick.

Wow on3 turbos on that white Mustang. Are they really that good. The one I'm looking at for $400 just seems to be too good to be true. It's a third if not less of a price than a precision.
I run 18x10.5 with a 285 on my 88gt. The car is slammed on coilovers and inner fenders had to be hammered.

315 35 17's will fit all day long with ARP extended studs and a small spacer, barely even have to massage the fenderwells to make it fit.
Depending on the offset and backspace of the wheel you may or may not need a spacer wheel width also factors in...some wheels might need more of a spacer it just depends on all the specs.
hey if you convert to disc in the rear would it push the axle out a little?

Know can you put the same wheel on the front? I’m trying to fit 18x10’s on all 4 corners and then just run fender flares🤘
Wouldnt be hard to do with flares it might require a spacer in front but you could prob get the right offset where a spacer wouldnt be needed but either way you would be able to rotate vs having diff offsets on same size wheel.
That 100 dollar bill is 6 inches for reference and what kinda drum breaks are on that orange notch
Small 5mm or so wheel spacer will solve that rubbing with a 315 tire

I run the 315/35/17 Nitto 555R drag radial (on a Strawberry coupe, no less) with the SR Replica 17X9's.
The 555R runs really small, it's prob a 295mm for comparisons sake. It's a little too big a tire, you really have to be careful. No quads, adjustable uppers to move the back end back and forth, and the hammer. Rolled fenders and brackets to pull the pipes in too.
I've heard of real 315's, but you are going to have to use a big sledge and alot of massaging. Alot.
Going with the 295 Mickey (softer tire) next time.

It’s all great until you pull over a hump and your tire digs into your fender lip.
You will need a certain brand pipe too.
I’m going to go with that 295 SS tire which is little smaller than Nitto 315.And I hope you are talking 555DR because you can forget standard 555!
@@cali72283 Changed out to the the 275 Mickey Thompson ET Street SS and very happy with them. Running a 393 with prob 425hp and it hooks first gear.

How hard is it to roll the fenders want to fit 275/45/17 on 93 fox
You basically hammer the underside and backside of the lip and round it off so it dont cut into the tire when and if it does make contact under compression. It isnt hard and youll never know its done unless you tell someone or theyre specifically looking for it. It isnt hard dont over complicate it.
Update---Show us this car rolling around on those tires?

It came from a junkyard so its a junkyard coyote. Not every used engine costs 500 bucks they didnt make every engine in the quantity that they did the ls motors so you cant compare everything to engines like that that are dime a dozen. Theyre everywhere that is what theyre cheap...
Coyotes aren't by comparison so they cost more the more that become available the lower that price will get. If you look at a used ls3 or the new lt engines they cost coyote money because they didnt put those engines in everything like they did the 4.8 and 5.3 ls. Its about supply and demand. If the engine came from the wrecking yard its a junkyard motor lol even if the cost is above your self imposed limit of 500 bucks. Not many wicked ass engines out there used running condition for 500 or less the 4.8 and 5.3 ls are the exception not the rule because they were offered in EVERYTHING for a long time so there is plenty available. Caleb said he picked up his truck motor south of 2500 bucks if im not mistaken. They arent as expensive as ya think and are getting cheaper by the day the more that become available lol.

295 50 will fit...I've got a 275 60 on a 10 inch wide rim and ive got about 2 inches all the way around..

If those actually bolt up then that makes me feel like my new wheels and tires will fit on my 89 lx, have a set of 17x8 front and 17x9 rear pony wheels coming in the mail today, 245/45 front and 275/40 rear tires
I have 275 40-17 on the back of my 1987 GT what's 17 x 9 Cobra R's all the way around. You will have to replace the upper control arm because it will hit
I bought the 17x8 245/45 front and 17x9 275/40 rear pony wheels off lmr, only issue I had was I had to flip the quad shocks in the rear, other than that no clearance issues at all
