These are some of my favorite videos! I’d love to have a dollhouse someday when we buy a house (we’re currently in a townhouse)! Dreaming big for the future! 😊 Nicki and Isabel’s room is still my favorite! 👽🌸
I do have my own dollhouse but it is usually a mess because my grandgirls come over and play in it a lot! And I work full-time so I don’t much time to spend in it. It is 3 floors with 6 rooms total. A kitchen, bathroom, a living room, a dining room and 2 bedrooms. I do enjoy it very much. I am so jealous of all your dollhouses and set ups AND space. You do such an amazing job decorating each room. As you say you ❤ dollhouses and your love really shines through in all the amazing details of your dollhouses. Truly wonderful!! As always thank you for sharing with us.❤❤
Thank you so much. I'm really glad my love for them comes through in videos. And I love imagining your perpetually messy dollhouse because that's how my daughter's is and when it comes to little ones, I take that as a sign that it is well-loved.
Yes, the last doll house is such a favorite. Detailed, modern, and stylish for an 18" . Hopefully, one day, I could find the time to do a doll house / apartment building for my toddler and I to play with. Overall, all your doll houses are wonderful to see.
Thank you so much. That one feels so realistic to me because we added some design details the other doll houses don't have - baseboards, chair rail, and crown molding. If you make your own doll house, I think one of the nicest things you can do for yourself is make them TALL ENOUGH. In really contributes to things feeling more realistic when the dolls' heads aren't two inches from the ceiling :)
@agtakesover Yes, I have already made a cube like room tall enough for our dolls. When I have the time, I would like to put baseboards on the sides, too. Thanks again :)
Wow, just spectacular! You are so creative, all of your “little” touches make it all so special. I just love your enthusiasm, how much joy it brings you. As someone who loved dolls since my early childhood, one of your doll houses would be my dream. I’m glad you are living yours.
Thank you so much! I really do love these doll spaces so, so much. And sharing them is a joy, too. Doll house tours are what got me into agtube and a huge part of why I started my channel. I was rewatching this video this morning and making a list of small to-dos to accomplish before the next tour. It felt like walking around the actual house and going, "Maybe I can paint the garage this summer like I keep saying I'll do. But first the yard sale to clear it out. Ooh, or maybe I should prioritize finding a cool-toned color for the living room and paint those walls. Or...or...or" lol.
My wife made them. She doesn't recall where she found the tutorial, but I'll have her find it because I was thinking of doing a video on making mini books and having it air during Banned Book Week.
Oh, that long hair is most definitely a wig. If my hair would look like that long, it would be that long lol. But I have a lot of wigs and decided to match my childhood mini-me. Also, I'm crossing my fingers for you, too, to have enough space for a dollhouse.
I love your dollhouses!!!! I always look forward to the season changes because you do such a beautiful job decorating . My favorite one is the one you & your friend made. Its just perfect!
Oh, thank you so much! Your favorite is also my favorite. I think for four reasons: 1) We MADE it, and that represents planning and successful execution that I'm proud of. It also represents a friend supporting me and my hobby. 2) It's the one I see every day. We've had it longest and I see it the most, so familiarity strengthened attachment. 3) The open floor plan. It makes that space SO versatile...It just feels limitless. 4) The realism surpasses the other doll houses. The tall ceilings, flooring from our own home, wainscoting, base boards, chair rail, and crown molding all make it feel like a real home. I'm so happy to get to share these spaces with others and see that they bring others joy as well :)
I love dollhouse tours as well and yours are some of the best. I love your big room upstairs in the office. It just has so much space! Most dollhouse rooms feel a bit too small, but not that one! I have 2 PAX wardrobes as my dollhouse. 2 units X 3 rooms to a unit =6 rooms. They were my daughters originally (the bottom 4 rooms anyway) I always used the top 2 rooms as you need a large step stool to get up there. So Felicity and Josefina’s collections on the top 2 floors. The 2 middle floors are a kitchen and a school room. The bottom floors are a living room and a laundry/craft room.
100% agree about the upstairs dollhouse. Honestly, it's the one I'd keep if I could only keep one. Making the ceiling tall was a huge help (and an open concept floor plan has turned out to be the best idea). Is the school room in your doll house modern or historical?
@@agtakesover it’s a modern classroom. I don’t have student desks, just kits desk as the teachers. It’s set up more as a science classroom with microscopes, a human skeleton, and chemicals. I have 2 of the OG science sets and the AG science set with the microscope. The Lego set with the women from nasa is also in there.
i alwaysssssss look forward to your updated tour videos!! it always just cures my inner child. i wanted a dollhouse so bad lol, so i just made my own “dollhouse” in the basement. aka, my ag stuff was all over the basement and house! thank you for helping me taking the edge off :) i love your family’s collection so much!
Oh, this comment made me smile!! Thanks for taking the time to share such kind words. I'm glad you enjoy our collection - I certainly enjoy sharing it with you all!
@@agtakesoverI'm keeping all the furniture and decor, but most of the buildings have been given away. I'll have to start fresh and build a new house and town once I move. I'm looking forward to it.
love seeing your doll spaces. A wonderful way to enjoy your doll universe. I would love to have just one room but I am still fighting for space with the girls and they are winning. Thanks for the video
You know I'm rooting for you. Would the collapsible foam board room work for you? You could just make it a living room or kitchen or bedroom and then change out the decorations every once in a while.
I was really thinking about the foldable room when you mentioned it again I am going to re-watch the video and I am reclaiming a Billie book shelf in my living room to have more display space. wish me luck and thanks for all the inspiration@@agtakesover
I love your doll house tours! There is something gentle and relaxing about them. I'm hoping to make one at some point and your ideas are inspirational. Funny note, when you played the bird chirping, it completely freaked out my cat. He was looking for a bird in our house!
I have a doll room, but it’s pretty packed now. I have the four room PAX wardrobe dollhouse so many have, which I love. I can’t reach the top room without a ladder, so it doesn’t really get photographed. Someday I’d love one more wardrobe so I can have more rooms, ideally in another house. I have a few rooms on the floor, too, as well as Lea’s rainforest house displayed on a folding table. What I really need is a walk in closet just for the dolls and their clothes. They are outgrowing the regularly sized closet. Or I at least need to install a skinny closet rod so I can effectively hang their clothes.
I feel you with the struggles for closet space. I installed extra shelves in the closet we use for their clothes. Increased the amount of storage by 300% and it's still FULL lol.
Well this was an extra amazing eye candy moment. I just adore how you made certain pieces more personal to your uses. Like Tenney stage. I’m going to work on my doll space this year. Your great inspiration.
Thank you! 😊 And maybe one day. If I could only keep ONE, it would be the one on the second floor (that my friend and I made). But I am so grateful we have room to display so many cool large pieces without it feeling cluttered.
This is the best way to start the week!!!! Now that I have a dollhouse I love watching your videos for inspiration. I love all the ways you decorate for different seasons
Wow! Those are some amazing dollhouses. I love the washi tape chair rail in the nursery! So smart. I hope to have a big dollhouse of my own one day (currently living in a small apartment so it's a dream for the future). I would love to have Kit's kitchen and bedroom, Mia's bedroom set, and a nice living room for the dolls to gather in. Also I just have to say, your Marley (sp? 122) is SO precious. I'm currently torn between 122 and 125 for my next new from ag doll, whenever I decide to treat myself to that. (Maybe for my birthday, if fixing my car doesn't destroy my budget, lol) I hope you're doing well! Also your mini me is perfect, she looks just like you!!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour - Your dream doll house sounds amazing. Marley is more Grace's doll (every time I style her, I disguise her curtain bangs) but she is a pretty doll. I think I just have SUCH a soft spot for the OG Joss that I'm never as big a fan of the other Joss molds lol.
Thank you for showing your doll house. Yes I do have Barbie size dollhouses but not an 18 inch doll house and would love to have one; however I have limited space.
Yes, AG dollhouses take up a LOT of space. We are very lucky to have the space we do. I did make a collapsible doll room out of foam board that I often recommend to ppl with limited space (I have a tutorial for it and it cost about $10 in total). How lovely that you do have some dollhouses, though!
I love seeing stuff I’ve made for you in your dolls’ kitchen! Those flower prints on the wall were sized down from artwork I created for my first Etsy shop (art prints for humans😆). I had Stephanie Lockridge from Little Bitty Hearts make the frames for me. I also spotted the afternoon tea set I made next to your Dolly’s Dining Room crepes - perfect for Spring. Your setups are so amazing. Love!
I bet that is a cool feeling. Grace and I used to have an Etsy shop for Harry Potter things we made and I LOVED knowing that things we'd put our time and creativity into were in ppl's homes all over the world. I am very grateful you have brought your talent to this community.
Sorry for the delay in responding - we used to sell candles, paper flower bouquets made from HP book pages, ornaments, personalized Hogwarts acceptance letters, tea cups with the grim painted on them, and a ton more. It was a lot of fun and we did it for two or three years a while back.
Your houses are a lot of fun! What an incredible collection! I was noticing little details like the early CYO outfit! Love your AG Place throne! I have one room for my doll collection. I have Josefina’s whole collection plus 9 more AG dolls on one wall. I have thought of setting Josefina’s world up in rooms that look like the adobe rancho she lived in (no multiple story apartments)! So far, her world remains on the floor, although it might be fun to paint some board like adobe to put along the wall.
That would be cool to paint some boards like adobe to put along the wall. We have several boards covered in contact paper (different colors on each side) that I use as photo backdrops and that's nice because it's easy enough to put them out of the way when not in use.
@@agtakesover Lol! I have a collection of large matte boards (used in framing) that I have decorated for photo backgrounds. I have one that looks like adobe, one that looks like a row house (Addy and Claudie), and one that looks like mountains. My most used background is a tree. I use an off-white matte board or a green rug for the floor in my photos. It is definitely easier to store flat boards for photos than to decorate and furnish a bunch of shelves!
Thank you so much! These doll houses are absolutely so much fun. And since my everyday life involves so many repetitive cleaning tasks, I really ADORE looking at a house that doesn't have pet hair everywhere, where vacuuming is unnecessary, where food doesn't ever grow mold, laundry never needs done, the dishes are always clean, and I never have to clean the microwave. It's a doll house AND a fantasy! ;)
The one weird thing that's odd is the way the two pieces (sink and stove) fit in the kitchen side of it. If you want to be able to access everything (open the doors, etc) then you have to leave a weird empty space in the corner of the kitchen. I keep meaning to fill in that space with some sort of homemade counter (got ideas - just need to do it). Other than that, the restaurant is great!
I am so jealous of your doll house! I would never come out of there though if I had it haha😂. I cannot wait until I am able to get our first house and I have a place for my doll house plans!
LOVE this video! I have ONE 18” doll dollhouse and I love it. I believe it’s Kidcraft brand??? I got it for $70! I have been looking for a Queen’s Treasures Dollhouse. It folds up and has maybe two floors. I want it for my Historical AG collection, as my present house is for my modern AG Dollie’s! Love your channel and keep up the good work! Blessings to you!
So many favorite things to mention, but I think my most favorite was the brilliant idea to transform Tenney’s stage for Kavi. It turned out so good! But… how do you keep your basement village a secret from your 4 year old???
Thanks - Tenney's stage was SO easy to transform. And nothing's permanent, so it can easily go back (or change to be some other kind of stage). And about the little one...we are very honest about what's down there in one sense. She knows doll stuff gets stored down there and art supplies and certain holiday decorations and whatnot. But she's only been in the basement a couple times in her life. She also knows it's where our two cats' litter boxes are so we play up the "It's stinky down there" a bit more than is warranted to make that space less appealing. It has a "childproof" thing on the knob that she doesn't know how to work...yet. And yesterday my sister-in-law was visiting and I talked to her about adding two walls and a door to make that part of the basement a proper room. My SIL is a carpenter and she can work that project in this summer, so that will also help. Honestly, I won't mind her playing in the space. But she has a gajillion toys of her own and gets her own doll house AND plays with mommies' doll house upstairs. So I think it's okay that we cherish the villAGe as a "just for the us" space for a bit longer :)
Thanks for sharing. This video is like candy for my brain. 😂 I love the tiny books, too. ❤ Did you make a video about those? My house being that clean is also my fantasy. 😛 I would really just love to have A doll space. My house is small, though. So my small collection of dolls stay in bins, and I take them out to play with. I do display two or three at a time but rotate them.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I haven't done a video about the books yet. My plan is to do a video showing the ones we already have and making some additional ones...maybe for Banned Book Week? (not till September)
You got the cafe chair! Did you have to buy that? I would love that chair, too, or any of the cute new cafe chairs with the historical print! I love your basement doll room so much. I’d never want to leave. Since you live in the Midwest, have you ever had to go down there for tornadoes? Tornado watch for me today, so it’s on my mind. 😅 Except it’s the bathroom or closet for me, no basement.
We got the chair for free - one of the employees reached out the day they were closing and asked if we wanted it (Um, YESSSS!). It's so over the top and I love it. As for tornadoes, you should check out my last two community posts, but the short answer is yes, we've had to go down there for tornado warnings.
My wife made the HP series. I asked her tonight if she remembers where she found the tutorial and she didn't recall offhand. Some of the mini books are from the "mini brands" mystery ball things. Others are AG ones. And a few (like the astrology and crystals ones) were just random fun finds that happened to be doll sized.
@@agtakesover oh! Thank you so much! I’ll have to keep a look out for some of those fun find books. I have a couple of the mini brand books but my store has been out of stock every time I’ve gone!
Even though I have a dollhouse and other doll spaces, I LOVE your tours! I like Claudie’s bakery too, but haven’t set it up yet. I am thinking about getting the salon set and wondering if it makes any sounds. YES! the calendars - love, love, love! Thanks for a fun and engaging video! 🤩
Oooh. Awesome channel! Did some of those dolls have locs? How did you do that? I got my baby the doll with the braids because it looked closer to our hair. She was on sale for $65.
Yes, some of them have locs. We have several wigs we got from Etsy (many from a shop called Zazou Custom Dolls). They have microbraids, locs in different colors and lengths (all the same thickness though) and I think we've gotten braids, twists, and an afro wig from that shop, too. You have to remove the factory wig from AG and swap it out, but if you ever want to do that for your little one, I'm happy to either do it for you at no cost except for shipping or to walk you through it.
@@agtakesover wow that is so awesome! Thank you! I took note of the Etsy accounts you mentioned and a screen shot so I can circle back to you. I already subbed last night but I’ll for sure be in touch and circling back here. I’m just starting the journey with my 4 year old and I haven’t given her a ton yet. But I’m collecting as I find good deals. I did give her the movie theater to play with some of her 14 inch princess dolls from target. She really likes it. Especially putting the tablet in for the screen and watching a movie. But she’s still more in the bitty baby stage. I’m getting a ton of stuff secondhand including the $600 house i got from market place this past weekend. And they gave us the OG ice cream truck and a ton of accessories with it for $250 😊
Where did you get the mini Harry Potter books? I’d gotten one years ago for the dolls, but it was so long ago I doubt that shop is still open. Need to complete my set.
Grace made them. She doesn't remember where she got the tutorial, but I'm planning on doing a mini-book tutorial for Banned Book Week so she'll have to find it before then lol.
This was wonderful, as always. I love that you have a "room of requirement". I'm about 1/2 way through the Deathly Hallows and I love that I understand so many Harry Potter references now. :) Ok, that baby on the toilet has me concerned about hemorrhoids. Poor dear child. I'm so glad you took her off and flushed! :) I like the Adopt Don't Shop tank top with the jeans. I'm guessing the boutique is mostly selling items for your adopted animals. Not sure about the turtle, birds, fish, etc. Maybe you're just supposed to adopt dogs and cats? Casey looks SOOOO much like you! I knew she did, but seeing her in this video, she really, really does. Great job! The dolls in Rebecca's rooms are so cute. Does the blonde have Courtney's wig? I love Evette's outfit in the diner. So pretty on her. That AG chair is so larger than life. It really looks like a doll chair that's been made human size. So cool. That moveable door with the window is great for photos! The Jess CYO with the Ireland sweater, freckles and curly brown hair is so pretty! The food on the kitchen table looks amazing. I would totally eat that. Although, it looks very glutenous and I can't eat gluten, so it's good that it's doll food. :) Thanks for sharing all of this! Always so fun! I have no desire to have my own dollhouse, but I really enjoy seeing other people's. :)
LMAO about the baby on the toilet. The moveable door IS really handy for photos, right? And the Jess CYO is actually a custom Kanani. I just usually have a different wig style on her.
@@agtakesover You did a beautiful job! Did you see my comment on your Claudie re-wigging video about wig #1? You thought it might be from Zazou, but said you would need to check with Grace. I would love to find that wig for my custom Claudie. I've looked on Zazou's website, and I don't see that wig, but I do see others with that "Blackberry Pie" color pattern, so I'm thinking it's just out of stock. Thanks much!
@@bethbacarella I did see it. Grace was checking. She doesn't see it in her Etsy purchase history so it's either not Zazou or she bought it second hand.
The room of requirement is something we all need.

I bet that is a cool feeling. Grace and I used to have an Etsy shop for Harry Potter things we made and I LOVED knowing that things we'd put our time and creativity into were in ppl's homes all over the world. I am very grateful you have brought your talent to this community.
I didn’t know you two had an Etsy shop! What types of Harry Potter things did you make??
Makes sense!
Such beautiful doll houses!!! Thank you for sharing! 💕
“Nobody is paying me to make sense”…can I borrow that line? It’s genius.
Thank you, you're welcome, and yes you can!
You are so much fun! I love your doll houses. Lots of inspiration. I always enjoy checking out your channel. Thanks for sharing!
It's a doll house AND a fantasy! ;)
I love dollhouses too!!! I want Blaire’s restaurant.
This was awesome! I’d love to have a small doll house just like a bedroom and a kitchen maybe ?
If I could only have room, it would be a kitchen. And if I could have only 2, the second one would either be a living room or a bedroom, I think.
I am so jealous of your doll house! I would never come out of there though if I had it haha😂. I cannot wait until I am able to get our first house and I have a place for my doll house plans!
Aw thank you so much. I absolutely love our doll spaces and am grateful to be lucky enough to have them :)
Thank you so much!! I get you wanting separate spaces for your modern and historical dolls - I hope you find that house at a great price!
I love the tiny books, too. ❤ Did you make a video about those?
My house being that clean is also my fantasy. 😛
I would really just love to have A doll space.
“Nobody’s paying me to make sense (cents).”
For real though.
I love your dollhouse tours! Where do you get all of your mini books? I saw the harry potter set and about screamed!
@@AGTV4Life I don't think it makes any sounds (the salon) but I'll double check and if I'm wrong, I'll let you know.
And they gave us the OG ice cream truck and a ton of accessories with it for $250 😊
@@noonyboon oh wow! What an amazing deal!!!
@@agtakesover If that CYO is a custom Kanani, that means that you gave her freckles, right? They look so much like CYO freckles. Great job!
@@bethbacarella yep I gave her freckles and based them on the AG freckle pattern. Thanks!
Yassss!!!
Thanks!!
Hmmm maybe I do have the OG fireplace in demo mode, too. 😅
So glad it's not only me lol
