@@RobPtak According to Apple, it's not allowed to record audio coming from Facetime call, only the onscreen. You may need to use Method 2 at 2:54 to record both screen and audio while you're on Facetime.
@@Fairylelove iPhone's built-in screen recorder and QuickTime Player can only record FaceTime screen, not the audio. To record video with audio, you need to try the efficient Screen Recorder tool mentioned at 4:42.

Mine isn’t recording the sound. And I turned on the microphone several times and it still didn’t record 😭
The only way to record audio for iPhone or Mac is to use the tool at 2:54.

@@niknabil693 You can use Screen Recorder tool at 2:54 to record Facetime video and audio. The iPhone's built-in recorder doesn't work for that.

You mean on your iPhone? You may long-press the Screen recording button and the Microphone option will show up.
I can’t get the first method to record audio even with the mic on. Is that why external applications are necessary?

@@Appgeeker whenever I screen record on FaceTime or call, it just turns off the microphone and even if I turn it back on it doesn’t listen back
