@@niansxsa yeah but Bruce knew him already through Fist of Fury. He was one of the extras at Jing Woo School and he was the stunt double for Suzuki, during that famous flying kick stunt. So even if Sammo Hung, didn't help, he would have gotten in anyway, because Bruce would have done anything to get him away from Lo Wei and he already managed to get much of Golden Harvest's crew when he made Way of The Dragon.
At least Bruce Lee had empathy for his "foes" when it came to his fight scenes, most notably Jackie himself when he played that henchman there. The scene may have involved him physically hurting a then-unknown Jackie and then snapping his neck. When the director yelled "Cut!" after that, Bruce stopped what he was doing, helped him up and asked him if he was okay. Glad he and Jackie got along in real life until his untimely end.
I remember watching an interview, where Jackie said that he and Bruce went bowling once and when Bruce left he called him Dragon brother. Make with that what you will.
I trained both of these legends. Bruce and Jackie. They were both my good friends. Bruce was such a nice guy. He gave Jackie a chance and opened many doors for him. I'm face it was Bruce who was the inspiration for Jackie. He told me this later in on life. Rip Bruce.
@@RabidWolf1966 And if I remember correctly, Bruce offered Jackie to work with him in the next movie, saldy he died before he could fullfile his promise
Eh, the Chuck Norris one is Way of the Dragon. Thats not where you find the rest you just mentioned. That's Enter the Dragon.. Set in China. The other one is in Rome.. 😎
I know Bruce Lee is considered the best martial artist ever and I have nothing but respect for him. For me, Jackie Chan is the best and I believe Chan and Lee are equal because I see Lee as the serious great and Chan as comedy great. So, I see them as equals and do not see either as being the best. I love em both. However, for me, personally Chan will always be my favorite because he added humor to martial arts. Also, a great singer as well. (Just Sayin')
He is not…the best martial artist ever. We don’t know how good he was because he never fought against serious competition. He was an actor that did his own fighting stunts.
Wow Man You Gotta Stop Drinkin',,, There is Nothing Equal About the 2 Martial Artist! Bruce Lee is a Far Better Fighter Than Chan, And Chan is a Stunt Coordinator & a Comical Figure In Movie Fights. The Skills of Bruce Extremely Out Weigh the Skills of Chan By Far & Had Bruce Lee Lived It Would Be Apparent to All with No Question. Bruce Lee is the GOAT No Matter What Martial Artist You Throw In Front of Him,,, PERIOD!
@@mudshovel289Yeah, he even said himself that his on screen style would never be used in a real fight. It would be ineffective. As with any real fight - it would be a hot mess of punches grabbing, falling over etc.
Originally he wasn’t suppose to attack him in this scene but Jackie Chan was so anxious in fighting him he just ran after him. So, technically In a way they really did fight in a somewhat serious way.
Actually Jackie appeared 3 times in the cavern: as one of the opponents defeated by Bruce using the sticks, as the attacker Bruce throws into the acid pit using the nunchaku and, of course, here.
I think that Jackie Chan was barely18 years old here. And I also read somewhere last year that while filming those scenes Bruce by mistake hit Jackie on the head hard and to make up for that Bruce promised Jackie future roles in his future movies. Too bad that Bruce died not long after this movie. Imagine several movies with Bruce and Jackie together.
Yooo actually Jackie Chan is a stuntman at that time after that he became a construction worker in other country but he really want to be an actor and he made a unique movie Wich was action comedy and the legend started to be a legend at that time
I had no idea Jackie Chan was in this film. He got to meet Bruce, and not only that, but he got to "fight" him. Btw, Jackie can make some pretty good drama roles, like the one where his niece was killed in a bombing and tries to find the people responsible for it. I recommend checking it out if you haven't.
Wow so... OK that was Jackie as a stunt double. I grew up with this movie. I Must of seen this a million times. I always thought to my self in this scene (hey that guy that bruce twisted his neck looks a lot like a young Jackie) and low and behold it is Jackie in this scene. Only scene ever with both bruce and Jackie.
Any guy who knows about cineme, how can I be an extra in an action movie? even if it's a couple of seconds on screen, I'm second dan degree in karate and I also practice boxing .
Find a movie studio that does martial arts movies and audition i would say. Unless you're friends with Jet Li already, then you're on your way. Gambatte ne 😏
another title : two epic legends in the same movie
both of them the best of the best of the best of the best
three* at the beginning Bruce fights Sammo Hung
Jackie Chan in this film plays a stuntman
Bruce Lee was a real (and best) fighter, Chan was an actor that knew martial arts but that’s it. Don’t insult the goat
Yes. My friend....💖
Thank you Bruce Lee for helping a life long friend like Jackie Chan
get a spot on Enter The
Dragon!!!
He was also the the stunt double for Suzuki in Fist of Fury as well as one of the extras at Jing Woo School
i think it's It's Sammo Hung who got Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao in Enter the Dragon

This is when the young drunken master met the legendary Bruce Lee
This what we call "Legendary Moment"🔥
This feels like a passing of the torch moment, imagine if Bruce didn't die, the movies they would have made together

twist58 u saw the video didn’t u
Jackie also said that Bruce had a lot of respect for the stuntmen in Hong Kong, and was really impressed with Jackie Chan
Was YOU There 🤨🙄
@@ericthompson9970 You don’t need to be “there” if you’ve watched the interview of Jackie Chan reflecting on his time with Bruce.
I remember watching an interview, where Jackie said that he and Bruce went bowling once and when Bruce left he called him Dragon brother. Make with that what you will.
And then Jackie became the biggest star out of Asia. My favorite Jackie chan
a figurative, and visual, moment when one legend handoffs to another legend
Well said, friend 😎
This is epic
2 greats together
If only we had gotten a full fight. Two of the greatest Martial Artists in cinema history.
If Bruce Lee had lived, I could see the both of them doing a kung Fu buddy cop film with Bruce as the straight man, and Jackie as the comedy relief.
Would have happened had Bruce not died.
Bruce Lee knew Jackie Chan will been a martial art star... amazing.
These people are Real Stars.
True struggle. ♥️
Love you Jackie & bruce
It looks like jackie chan just hugged bruce lee 😂😂
Hes being a fanboy to Bruce Lee
Bruce made nearly choreographed nearly all the fighting scenarios for the movie..... This dude was the sh!t
Hey, Thank you for this precious moment!! 💗

Bruce was such a nice guy. He gave Jackie a chance and opened many doors for him. I'm face it was Bruce who was the inspiration for Jackie. He told me this later in on life. Rip Bruce.
came here after hearing jackie's funny story of what happened behind the scene
What happened behind the scenes?
@@HenryMusic255 IF I remember right, Bruce accidentally actually hit Jackie during the scene, and apologized after it was shot
@@RabidWolf1966 And if I remember correctly, Bruce offered Jackie to work with him in the next movie, saldy he died before he could fullfile his promise
I heard about it also, Bruce accidently hit Jackie's head, and the last decided to go along another way to become himself as it is today. wh
How special of a coincidence that two of the most well-known martial artists in the world got to share a brief scene together.
In one of the greatest martial arts movies ever. Lightning in a bottle.
Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan and Jim Kelly were in the same movie.
Beyond classic. :-D
Samo Hung as well.
Chuck wasn’t in this.. he was in Way Of The Dragon.
Did have Bolo Yeung though!
Eh, the Chuck Norris one is Way of the Dragon. Thats not where you find the rest you just mentioned. That's Enter the Dragon.. Set in China. The other one is in Rome.. 😎

Bruce Lee died before the premiere. Sammo Hung also fought Bruce in the beginning of the film.
well a real showdown between both would have been awesome
Two Legend omg just woowww

Bruce Lee is legendary fighter in the world
Interesting even than in this unknown role in a movie, Jackie Chan best quality, getting back up from a beating, always shines through.

The moment Jackie realized that He is going to be Jackie Chan

Frosty Leprechaun same here . . . Mind blown lol
Just here for some cheap game grumps likes.
I honestly did not know it was jackie chan as the henchman in enter the dragon, when he grab held bruce lee and then broke out of the hold until now.
Ohhh! This clip exists
16 17 years old.. Jackie chan
I guess this settled the "what if" debate quite early on then...
Universe should have in theory ended there, though I suppose Jackie's essence hadn't quite gone super-nova by then. We should all be thankful.
Yooo actually Jackie Chan is a stuntman at that time after that he became a construction worker in other country but he really want to be an actor and he made a unique movie Wich was action comedy and the legend started to be a legend at that time
Jackie plays two scenes. This and scene with stick, no longer time after this scene (very short scene, pause in film is necessary)
Absolute legends
This scene proves noob will not always stay noob
The two greatest martial arts actors of all-time in one scene. This is like when Elvis met the Beatles.
Bruce: For Hong Kong...

Knee strikes to the temple of Jackie
The Only Movie where Jackie Chan plays the Bad Guy :) !
Keep a second to realize that Bruce Lee literally spent an evening at bowling with Jackie Chan... he knew.
Someone needs to help me understand something here, does Bruce elbow him in the stomach? Or just break the hold because I can't tell
The only time chan played a villain

Wow glad to know
Odd awkward way too "pass the torch"!
there for bruce lee left the world because lee knew chan is coming
