Does the tentacle take up space? Like is it equal to a medium or large sized creature, where allies (or enemies) can't enter that space? I'm a DM and one of my new players decided to play one. Just wondering everyones opinion. Thanks.
The tentacle is a spectral summon that appears at a point you can see within 60 feet. As such, it doesn't actually have a size or take up any space that could prevent a creature from moving through it. In fact, you can even summon the tentacle from a point in midair and make it move through the air like a flying creature. It's quite versatile in that way; not to mention it cannot be targeted by attacks or receive any damage, as it's treated more like a magical effect than a creature. Hope this helps you out. :)
@@deathbyd4 thank you very much for the clarification. I figured that was the case since it didn't specify, but its still like wow, it does all that lmfao. Thanks again man.
The last fear can be funny if you’re the only one in the party that can breathe water. Let them kill the dragon, then drop them at the bottom of a water trap so you can take the loot for yourself >:3
The understand others doesn't say you have to share a language. So if you need to talk to someone. It is bath time.
It only stipulates that the 'creature' be full submerged - so I think you can talk to fish...
I would have preffered the capstone ability allowing you to summon *two tentacles.*
